    Please Be Gentle.

    I've heard that before.

    • ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      I sincerely doubt that

    • I'm sure it would have been decades ago

10% off Physical Catch Gift Cards (Delivered or In-Store) @ Australia Post

Also available at Coles this week

    • +1

To push it further, uses discounted Coles gift card as payment if you can get one.

      • Can you use Gift Cards to purchase Gift Cards at Coles?

I know you can't at Woolworths.

        • +1

          Yes, you can.

          • @O O: I don't think Coles gift cards can be used to purchase other gift cards. From terms of use

No Gift Card can be used for:
            purchases initiated by phone, email, post or fax;
            Service ATMs;
            bill payments, including credit card accounts and store accounts;
purchases at hotels owned by Coles Group companies; and
            purchases of gift cards.

    • thx O O, will updated

My local Coles only had the $50 cards. Do they even sell $100 catch cards?

    "Please Be Gentle."

This is ozbargain not porn please stop saying this.

    • hah,edited as you wish

    • Have you seen any porn when someone said "Please Be Gentle."

      • idk probably definitely sounds like something said in certain categories. haha

What's with people not having a sense of humor on here?

    • how we talk is dictated by pornhub now?

Won't be eligible for cashback when using gift cards (at least with Cashrewards)

    • +2

I mean you can still get cashback when you purchase $500 Giftcard from AUPost online

  • +1

Pretty sure that gift cards and affiliates don't stack. So you might get your Cashrewards/Shopback only on the $129 that isn't covered by gift cards. Also sometimes as soon as you use a promocode the affiliates stop working but it's only 1.5% so it's not like it's a huge deal.

    So by my math
    129*.015= $1.935 affiliate

450 Gift card + 127.065 (Upfront less shopback)

    577.065 plus a possible - 31.45 or 62.90 flybuys points

    $545.615 (smaller flybuys)
    $514.165 (larger flybuys)

Not bad, the best price it's been yet.

    • I forgot about the 1.5% gift cards at the post office!

    • Good Math here
I mean 1.5% cashback when Purchase $500 from AUPost online (1.50%)- Group B: • Gift cards • Flat Rate Satchels • Postcards
129*0.01 =1.29 (1% cashback for computer on Catch), I didnot count it in

    • I think you may right to say- the best price it's been yet.
Actually I didnot pull the trigger, as my wife didnot allow me….. also post it to see if I would regret.
It is only on the market locally for couples of month.
In China you can buy it from $2000 rmb easily ~ $400 AUD,
Even plus International Transportation shouldn't be around $600

      • I think it has further to fall too but if I was in the position where I needed a screen this is a good option.

    • $450x0.015 (Australia post affiliate) = saves you another $6.75

      $538.865 (Smaller Flybuys)
      $507.415 (Larger Flybuys)

  • Can someone confirm if I get th card no straightly if I buy catch $100 gift cards online ? Or they sending physical cards within 2 days ?

    • on australia post website?

  • +1

Yes, $100 gift card seems available only at auspost website, Coles has only $50 (from two places i checked) and what seen through th closed door glass in aus post is also $50. Has anyone seen $100 catch gift cards at these places ?

  • Just wondering, is this any good for just multi tasking? I currently have a dell U2419HC and been wanting to get another monitor, however I needed to get the lenovo dock something from what I've been told in order to use dual monitor. Would it be better for me to get something like this or go dual monitor + get a lenovo dock?

    • Dual Monitor is always better for multitasking, but the split screen feature on this still works well. If you concerned about extra electricity, plugs and in other situations can benefit from the ultrawide settings, then this will be fine.

    • Personally, I find a dual-monitor setup is much better.

I have a primary monitor (one that I look at for my Word, OneNote etc) that sits straight ahead and a secondary monitor (one that I have little tidbits on, like Spotify, YouTube etc) that sits slight askew.

I'm not sure how I would be able to do this properly with a monitor like the one in the deal, I like having them separate from each other so I can twist and turn them whenever I need to.

I have them hooked up via a Toshiba dynadock 3.0 - however, I do know that other companies like Kensington sell a fairly similar product. You won't be limited to getting a Lenovo dock just to have a dual-monitor setup :)

      • Great, will do with a dual monitor then. Thanks jollystacker and jjsu.

  • Gave up, no $100 gift cards in 3rd coles too, so that leaves only option left to order online through aus post and wait for days to come.

    • find an AusPost shop/office they have them too.

  • I hate dealing with the gift cards, will wait another promo and/or with a good cashback. Below 500 without much trouble is my condition !

  • -1

so I literally just bought this via ebay at $625. I used ebay gift cards purchased from crypto.com and got 5% back as I have already exhausted the 10% limit for this month. Second site after ebay is ozbargain

  • +2

afterpay day sale today, catch.com.au has 10% cashback from 8-10pm (doubt can be used with vouchers).

    • Doesn't look like 10% will apply to electronics / computing goods

  • How does this compare to the Kogan 34" ultrawide monitor?

  • It seems that the Catch gift card is out of stock on Auspost. Ozbargained.

    • Just checked the mobile site through Cashrewards App on the phone, they are still there. Sorry for the false alarm.

  • Afterpay day sale is on now for two days 20,21 but it doesn't list all items in catch inc this monitor. Is there any other sales promo going on from afterpay ?

    • The 10% off cashback should be sitewide from 8-10pm.

      • Electronics / computers is still 1%

        • +1

Ah true, didn't see that. Well then.

          • @exc3113nce: Yeah i almost bought it as well, stopped myself right before paying. I sent Gotyourback an IM to confirm.

  • Thank you OP, bought one.

  • Ordered within sale time @8.20pm $72 cents tracked from shopback

    • +1

      See above - electronics/computers only 1%.

  • Hey guys,

Currently in the market of a monitor and saw this deal last time as well.

How does these monitors compare to any Samsung monitors? Let's say these: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/samsung-32…

I understand this Samsung is 32inches and Xiaomi is 34 but apart from that, is one superior than the other?

    Genuine question :)

    Cheers

    • Whats your use case?

    • Samsung has 4K display @ 60Hz while this one is WQHD @ 144Hz. For 1440p gaming at high refresh rate, get this one. If you're more into visuals than performance, go for the Samsung.

  • Thank you OP, bought one.

    • how much total after adding delivery cost?

      • Delivery is free

  • Purchased 5 x $100 Catch gift cards from AusPost on Thursday 20/08 @ 12:05AM, expecting delivery 25th-28th :(

  • A heads up for the FlyBuys promo, you can't collect any FlyBuys points when using Gift Cards, so you won't be able to collect the 12580 FlyBuys points and save $62.90 unless you pay normally.

  • anyone tried to use Unidays coupon for Mi Monitor ?

    • I think that voucher is excluded for marketplace purchases.
