Just take it to the checkout and do a price check. It should come up as 79 cents.

I REFUSE to feed my body n mind with sugar n caffeine.

    • +3

The corner is over there. Now excuse me while the rest of us go on a sugaaaar high!

    • +1

So buy the sugar free lemonade. That way you just get the acids. :P

    • +1

It's either real sugar that your kidneys can reabsorb with no probs, or a synthetic sugar that dehydrates you. Unless you already have underlying signs of pre-diabetes, I'll take the real sugar anyday. And there's nothing wrong with caffeine unless you already have underlying heart problems. :)

So unless you've already wrecked your body in some way, good old sugar n caffeine in reasonable amounts won't mess you up lol.

      • +1

        thanks for the advice, Doctor!

      • Real sugar FTW!!!! I don't touch that weird crap "sugar-free" or "diet"…screws up your body & head!! (& no, I mustn't be some overweight chick just because I don't have "diet" Pepsi & stuff!!)

      • Thank for the advice, Doctor. But i don't have any of those symptoms and i rarely have normal or diet soft drink, water is good enough for me. What's reasonable amounts is good for one person ( no one know, unless you spend a great deal of time to study your self ). But yeah these are a whole topic human society trying to understand, so i won't go any further. Plus it's good for business any way, consume moreeeeeeee as it is written. Shalom goyim.

I work at Woolies and the special started today and ends on Tuesday. It's even cheaper than homebrand which is 88 cents! Other flavours for 79 cents are Sunkist, Pepsi, Solo, Mt Dew, Schweppes varieties.

Some guy came through and bought 75 bottles. He probably rushed down after seeing this bargain here! hahaha

      • +5

Did you say hi to Broden?

        • He was not a Broden though.

        • He was Brett !!!

  • Just got 24 bottles from my local Store..:D

Guess I chose the wrong week to give up my Pepsi Max addiction (true story) - this is just cruel. First I find out they are having the Summer Rewind Promotion again, now they have 1.25L bottles for 79 c each.

    Unbelievable

    • +1

Stay strong Shamu. I too once had a Pepsi Max addiction. A bottle a day at least for more than 15 years.

One day, I got sick and when I recovered a day or two later, I tried Pepsi Max again and I couldn't stand it, really couldn't stand the taste.

I gave it a day, tried it again and it still was revolting. It's been more than five years and never have I wanted to touch it again.

My body / mind did something for me that my rational mind couldn't do for itself. If only I knew how it worked, we could cure addiction.

      A strange but true story.

  • Bought 4 boxes pepsi and 2 sunkist, considering xmas and summer are just around the corner a great time to stock up!!!

  • There's a full page ad in the Herald Sun today, but lists it as a 2 Day sale ending Sunday 30th

  • Nice find. Just bought 46, probably buy more tomorrow. Thanks a lot.

  • +1

Just came home with 50 bottles, going for more tomorrow :)

Got mix of Pepsi Max and Sunkist Sugar Free

  • thats alot of sugar >.< Having said that I might stock up too :p

  • got about 15 bottles just then. I dont want to overload on sugar, but dont mind Pepsi everynow and then and free tshirts are cool. The Pepsi Max still had an old competition on their sticker so didnt get them. only the pepsi, lemonade and a few solos had tshirt stickers.

  • No idea how people are getting 50 when there is a limit of 24 per customer.

I've been thinking about how much some people drink and imagine if you combined all the drinks you have consumed in your life into one situation. ie. it would be like >20 pallets of drink. How CRAZY is that?

    • +1

All limits are bullshit and unrealistic though…

Firsly, staff would never care. Secondly, if they care they may not dare to say a word. Lastly, one can check out at a self-serve counter…

      • "Please place your 50 bottles of pepsi in the bagging area."

      • +1

Our duty manager said today just to run it past him when someone tried to buy more than 24, got to a point where he couldn't be bothered anymore, and just told us to let them through.

Don't think it really makes a difference to the store, because it's stated as "while stocks last" and "no rainchecks".

  • +1

keep in mind the tshirt rules are different this year

From what I've read so far, there are 400 tshirts a day available to those who bid with their accumulated points from their bottle labels. So you might be lucky, or another day you might be bidding against Broden and miss out.

Good luck everyone, and even better luck against being bashed when you actually dare to wear the "won" tshirts !!

    • Yeah it is a bidding system this time round. Still seems like reasonable chance of getting a tshirt. I missed out last time :(

  • +4

Just filled up my Nissan Navara with pepsi max

    • Great comment !!

    • +1

Those things run on Pepsi now?

  • Two boxes of Schweppes lemonade sitting in the garage now. Bargain.

  • Just when Im trying up give up Pepsi, they drag me back in.

  • +1

Yay bought 16 bottles and I don't even drink cola lol

  • Does anyone know what the deal is in SA with softdrink prices ? We are always more expensive in SA on anything with container deposit (ie these are 90c each here in SA). I always assumed the bottle deposit scheme was funded by the state government and not the manufacturers, am I incorrect ?

    • Of course it's the state government or at least a governmental agency.

  • it finished it back to 4 for $5 =(

  • I won a Pepsi tshirt for 80 credits

    • How many bottles gives you 80 credits?

      • +1

you get 5 credits for each bottle so 16 bottles

        • So he just paid about $12.50 for a T-shirt, and a couple litres of soft drink. Not bad.

  • Already ended… 1.25 each now. Good price though…

  • cheaper than petrol!

  • darn it how did i miss this….

anyways $1 at coles for schweeps!
