    • Rookie error. I learned from the Bunnings Drone (which I got, just) that there can be minutes between getting a deal by pricing error and missing out.

      Not that I am confident this one will come through.

    Dont think its an pricing error.

    HN have just changed the cart to reduce the Nest Mini to $0 in the Bundles here:

    • it doesn't work when you checkout. It automatically removes the google nest mini.

      • It let me check out with the nest mini “in my cart” but then shows for delivery it’s only the Chromecast so not sure wether to finish payment or leave it

    Just know that Chromecasts are likely on discount now as they're about to release the new Chromecast powered by Android TV, which will also have a remote. Making it a far more attractive proposition for users like me who dislike the only way of getting content on the TV, and then controlling it afterwards, is via another device: https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/24/21398689/google-android-t…

    Of course, that will cost more, so it's not like standard Chromecasts are going to disappear… it's just something to consider

    Ordered from HN. Order confirmation just shows Chromecast though so I guess I'll see what's there when I pick it up.

    • Probably just means that they only have a Chromecast in-store for you right now.

      • And I won't get nest mini and bulb? They haven't mailed me the invoice yet

        • They were a bit delayed to send me the invoice - but if you paid for all three, you'll get all three. I'm assuming you chose pick-up, and that the Chromecast was the only product in your order that's currently available in-store.

            • @Mahip: Yes, I understand that - but what I'm guessing is that the Chromecast was the only product in your order to be available for pick-up in-store. The other two (being the Nest Mini + Light) will probably come from their warehouse?

        • No. I think the Nest Mini was declined by HN online system as the item has been removed from listing atm. Only Chromecast and Bulb went through.

    When I review my order it only shows the Chromecast

    • That happened to me on Harvey Norman when the Nest Mini sold out (i.e. disappeared) - quickly switched over to JM and paid there.

      • Is it still available there?

        • I haven't checked back - but the post has now been listed as expired at both stores.

  • When u add the bundle for HN.. afterward at checkout, the mini dissapear and ur left to pay $54 for chromecast

    • From what I can gather, your situation is either:

      1) You paid for all three products - but the Chromecast is the only product in-stock for you to pick-up. The Nest Mini + Light are likely to come from their warehouse to HN store for pick-up.

      OR

      2) You placed all three items in checkout - but ordered it after the Nest Mini + Light had sold out. In short, this means that you paid for just the Chromecast + will only recieve the Chromecast. Maybe double-check your invoice?

        I have look into the order confirmation email and Login to HN and view orders
        Both places have all the 3 items in the order

        However, in HN website, the order status is still "Processing"
        Hopefully it will be the scenario 1 that you mention

        • I just get confirmation for pickup for the other 2 items (Nest Hub and light bulb)

          Quite weird that the ready for pickup is separated into 2 different notice (same order)

    I bought Connect smart downlights and they were absolute garbage, 2 out of 4 failed within a day and the other 2 made a very loud humming noise when set to a cooler shade of white. I wonder if these bulbs are any better.

  • Has anyone ordered from Joyce Mayne? I didnt manage to get this deal but I ordered 2 weeks ago and nothings been dispatched, and now I've see a lot of very bad reviews people don't seem to receive their orders… Just a warning!

          Still not even shipped from the store the order has been allocated to. Bit of a joke really.

          I only have the update because HN online called me back today after I tried to contact JM on Thursday. I wanted to add something to the order, but since they took 5 days to call back I’d already bought elsewhere.

          Apparently this tardiness getting an order out the door is normal.

          I won’t be ordering from HN/JM again in a hurry.

          • @watts: Order has showed up as "Processing" for the past 5ish days. So, I contacted JM yesterday and they said that my order would be looked into within the next 72 hours.

            Have yet to hear back from them.

              @jjsu: If I understand correctly, my order got allocated to a random store, with zero stock of either item.

              It’s now up to that store whether they bother chasing up stock from another store or just make me wait until they receive the next shipment. They can’t tell me when that might be.

              My opinion is quickly going from ‘I won’t order from these clowns in a hurry’, to actively discouraging others to give them any business, online or otherwise.

          • @watts: Same for me, the only update was from HN after I tried to contact JM
            I'm still yet to have any update on shipment yet, but at least they have told me that they have now referred my order to a store that actually has stock

            • @objtrim92: Finally received all 3 bits today. They sent an E27 bulb instead of the B22 but otherwise ok.

              Have you tried WhatsApp? Mostly worked for me but responses can take a few days.

            • @objtrim92: Mine is now apparently finally on its way but only after repeated messages on the bottom Contact Us form
              First time response was from Harvey Norman who said they would distribute the request to the relevant store
              Next time I asked I got a message response saying it would be moved to a store with stock
              Finally yesterday I asked where it was at and now have a reply from a store that it is sent and have a tracking number…
              This is not as simple as it should be
