Motorola XOOM 32GB Wi-Fi $349.95 + $29.95 Shipping - Shopping Square

380

Just received this in an email from them tonight.
Seems like many of the online stores are trying to offload their Xoom stock recently.
Still a good price, beats Kogan.

nice, though I'm trying to hold off on a tablet till the Transformer Prime (really hard to do)

yes i agree… it's so tempting with all these tablet bargains recently

    • Same

    • I'd almost buy it just for the name!! :)

  • Now that I know that they're all going to be dropping in price, time to decide which one to get… Xoom, Iconia, Transformer, Galaxy (harder to get in AU IIRC) or Thrive. There's a few others from Lenovo etc. as well! hmm… Think I might be leaning towards the Iconia. Awesome deal btw!

    • I'm in the same boat… been leaning towards the galaxy 10.1, haven't seen a good price for it yet.
The letdown i noticed with the iconia though is that the screen is only 256K colors whereas other tablets have 16M.

People really need to actually look at the screen before declaring it "a letdown".

        • Shhh! That's just people that missed out Iconia's trying to feel better :) jks

You're right, Im not disappointed at all and I've had a play on the xoom and galaxy tab…

    • FWIW, I got the Iconia last week and absolutely LOVE it. Admittedly I haven't tried the other tablets so can't really compare, but I think it's definitely value for money. Although with the Xoom coming down in price, it does seem to be better than the Iconia so perhaps will be even better value for money…

      • ditto, have played with the xoom and galaxy tab, they are good, but LOVE my iconia. if you can still get it at the GG price point, then in the words of the latest red rooster commercial: don't think twice..

        • I was going to get an Iconia until they took forever releasing the 3G model and I ended up with a TouchPad (WiFi only) instead.

    • Iconia is a good choice especially given recent price drops. But if possible, I suggest you compare its screen against something like Transformer (IPS). Screen quality of most iconia demo units I have seen had less than impressive color saturation and viewing angles.

  • I bought the galaxy 10.1. Got it from the states several months back for about $400. Love it!!

    • Where did you buy it from?

      • Ebay US. Was $US400 for the 16GB wifi and I had it in about 5 days.

WHAT?! A shoppingsquare post without a negative comment or vote?? Surely this has to be a first…

it's an impromptu thing to get Kogan to beat the price again

      let the wars begin :D

  • Tempting, this was the first tablet I considered buying and was definitely the best when it was released. But I've decided on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi, just waiting for a good price. (Hint, hint, SS :D)

with that thickness, you can stack almost 3 gtab 10.1's together :D

Oh, and a couple of things: 1) It says they're out of stock. 2) They're advertising the 'saving' from the RRP, not from the price they usually sell it for. 3) I find it amusing the delivery and handling is nearly half the price of other tablets, merely because its a sale item.

  • Is it in stock? They have mentioned "express interest" ..

  • How its this a deal if it is not yet available to purchase? Hate these expression of interest type exercise.

    • worst deal of all time (so much so it made me register just to put this comment!)

      expressed interest
mail came in today that they are in stock
      $535.00 + Shipping ($49 Sydney metro)

  • They had the 3g one for $429.95 too but sold out.

  • Prices will drop some more - the Xoom 2 should be out before Christmas apparently.
