For me, Maccas sweet and sour sauce is king. I've also had better consistency with the crispiness of the tempura batter at Maccas. KFC's nugs are often soggy or not fresh.
But if they made wicked-nugs… hoo-wee. I'd be all over that. Go to Maccas to get a few packs of that sweet sweet sweet and sour sauce @ 50c a piece, and dip those wicked-nugs. Hoo-wee.
McDonald's sweet and sour sauce tastes like watered down apricot jam.
Considering McNuggets are now* $12 and imho were always inferior this just makes KFC lead by an even bigger margin.

You can do the survey as many times as you like but only one per order $4.95 or above (using a new receipt obviously).
Alternatively, a $19.95+ spend gives a free 1.25L soft drink + large chips (I'm assuming that's still the same)

@Jay408: I don't work for KFC but I've never heard that and have done the survey with free chips and drink many times.
Doesn't have to be in the next three days or whatever they say.
In fact, KFC I used to frequent did breakfast and were more than happy to change the chips and can of drink to a hash brown and juice.
I guess it depends on the store?
Last time I went to KFC they were no longer doing the survey… maybe its back now tho who knows…

Coles breast nuggets, but make sure they're the tempura ones, they have the most normal meat out of them all, and they're 3x cheaper than fast food and depending on how you cook, healthier
Oh and KFC is better, than Macca's ez they specialise in chicken after all
Taste wise I prefer maccas but not sure which actually has more chicken in it lol.

A tip for the free survey chips & drink: do the survey and take a screenshot on your phone with the validation code. I've used the same screenshot multiple times now and they hardly even look at my phone when I show them.
I was about to say you should do the survey every time but then realised KFC probably doesn't need any more fake "highly satisfied" customers lol
