      I was wondering the same - from past experience it may not be quite as fast as the provided Huawei "Super charger", but should be much faster than a non QC charger

        Correct, must be a Huawei super charger.
        This is the only negative that I've found with my P30. The QC chargers & cable are cheap & plenty of availability. The super charging options are opposite.

    AFAIK the standard DC plug in a car is 12V by 5A max = 30W max. Where do they get 36W from?

    The fine print says 30W max.
