  • I wonder what TA will come up with because of this….

  • +1

But Boost Mobile online recharge $200 gets 150gb.

      • Under Recharge - you do need to enter your Boost mobile number to access this page:
        https://recharge.boost.com.au/chooseamount

        • Yeah but that’s a 6 month plan so is $400 for the year.

I did miss in the original post by wtfnodeal they did say ‘recharge’.

    • Hi. The recharge option you are looking at is for 6 months offer and not for 12 months. Please refer below. Thanks

      https://boost.com.au/shop/200-prepaid/

      • Recharge
        $150
        80GB
        12 month expiry

        • Available only for people who were already with Boost when the $150 option was cancelled.

    • 6 month expiry

    • It's $300 now for 240Gb

  • +1

With Boost at the moment and find it quite good. Although back in my day it was $150 for 80GB for 12 months

    • There is still $150 for 80gb 12 months expiry under my recharge offer.

      • +2

Offer still there for existing. That 150 plan no longer available its 200 now……

    • I moved from their $30 a month, to the 150 pre paid over 12 months, and the service quality dropped. Almost like I moved to Telstra Wholesale, or a lesser place in the pecking order of the usual Boost network. Just a number of calls wouldnt connect, I had no internet where I always got it before.

  • What's the expiry on this? Looking to buy to activate in future

    • +1

Hi. The sims we are currently shipping can be activated till September 2021.Thanks.

Having just purchased the deal, I am disappointed…

I wish to activate my card at the end of Jan next year (daughters bday). Nowhere on this deal page does it say that you will only get 30GB of data if you don't activate prior to the 26th of Oct this year. Yes I can activate it in Jan, though I am only getting 30GB of data (no deal to be had there).

          Hi @ CobCob,

We are sorry to hear that, however we are happy to do a full refund should you not want to go ahead buying this sim. However, looking at the popularity of the offer we would not be surprised if Boost Mobile will continue this as an on going offer but no one at this stage can confirm this. Please email us your refund request on [email protected] should you wish to cancel you order.

          Kind Regards,
          Team @ Cellpoint.

          • @cellpoint: Thank you Cellpoint for your quick reply. I will do, fingers crossed they do it again later on.

        • How did you find out it's 30GB? This has never happened before.

          • +4

@lomie: It was on the Boost site
            https://boost.com.au/plans/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwy8f6BRC7ARIsAPIXOj…

Look at the writing under 85GB and it says 30GB + 55GB bonus (you only get this if you activate prior to 26th of Oct)

            • +1

@CobCob: Wow, that's really bad value!

            • +1

@CobCob: I was not aware of this. Thank you for mentioning it. I have used a smidgeon over 10 GB during the first four months of my $150 recharge so 30 GB probably wouldn't quite get me through a year. I was already a bit meh about the new pricing when I thought it was for 85 GB, but costing 30% more for 62.5% less data kinda stinks.

  • So qhat happens when we need to recharge? Am lookin to port from existing optus month to month

    • Hi. After the 12 months validity or if you run out of your data; you can select the recharge options by entering your mobile number in the below link and select the data and recharge options you would like to go on;

      https://recharge.boost.com.au/chooseamount

      Kind Regards,

  • I am with the $150 plan, got a message last week saying that international roaming is not available anymore :-(

    • +2

Probably no biggie at the moment.

      • Not even a smallest issue for me at the moment. But next year it will (hopefully)

    • +1

It did say it would come back.

  • When do you have to activate this by? My curre t plan ends in Oct.

  • Edit

    nevermind

  • Can you port an already expired number over? Got a Kogan prepaid that expired yesterday.

    • Hi. Even if the credit is expired you can normally receive incoming calls for upto 14 days depending on the network carrier. If you are able to receive incoming calls than YES you can port the number over. Thanks.

      • Mine is already over 15 days. Couldn't receive call/SMS anymore. Can I still port?

        • Hi @ Averell,

If the sim card is de-activated completely than you cannot port the number. Thanks.

  • @cellpoint
Just ordered one yesterday with $245 deal.
Any chance I can get this deal instead?
The invoice says delivery is on 9/9/20.
    Hoping you can help.
    TIA

  • Currently on the 12 months 80Gb plan (paid $130 last year). Going to port out to the Coles Belong plan for 4 months and port back over to this deal. Thanks OP.

    @cellpoint
    1. Do I have to stay with Boost for full 12 month in this offer?
    2. If yes, After 12 months, what happen? the price, and the offer?
    3. During the 12 month, what is recharge offer detail?

    • +1

      Hi,
      1. This is prepaid service and once activated your credit for Calls/ Text & Data expires in 12 months time. You do not have to necessarily stay with Boost Mobile as this is not locked in but if you do wish you to leave prior to 12 months than you lose the remaining credit.
      2. You can either choose to recharge your service or change the provider is up to you.
      3. Please refer to the add description for the recharge offer or please refer to www.boost.com.au for further info.

      Thanks
      Team @ Cellpoint

  • With Boost can you the old fashion way like a Australia Post Office?

  • +1

Warning for anyone ordering these on the east coast - the delivery is super super slow right now and Cellpoint don't do anything proactive to communicate this.

I ordered on 6 Sept, my Auspost tracking says it's still at Perth airport and the best Cellpoint have been able to work out, it might be coming via Adelaide by road and should be here in Sydney early next week. My existing contract expires tomorrow so I had to get a last minute Vodafone starter pack to tide me over. That at least arrived next day.

    • Agreed. Ordered 3 weeks ago and still waiting. Frustrating to say the least.

      • Mine arrived on Monday but still annoying to have to get another SIM to cover the SIM you’ve ordered.

  • Hello support, I ordered my sim pack on 5th September, still have’nt received the pack. I tried to ring the number in the website, no one picks up the call ????? I could not contact cell point !!!! Why ?

    • Hi. We are based in WA and are open between 9:00 am -5:30 pm everyday except Sunday. We may have missed you incase we were busy. Can I please request you to email your name or order no on [email protected] or leave us a private message in OzBargain so we can update you with your tracking details. Thanks.

  • Placed an order on 28 Sep and received it this morning by Express Post (Sydney CBD). Ported my number and activated in 10 minutes. Really happy with both the delivery and Telstra 4G speed. Before porting I tested the speed is approx 50mbps (with Optus). After porting it goes up to 270!!!

    • Hi @ Gothic, Thank you for your kind words. Very much appreciate. Due to the ongoing delay issue with delivery via standard Australia Post we have now moved to Express Shipping for the same price and are happy to share that with Express Shipping the deliveries are reaching in 1-3 business days for all our customers.

      Kind Regards,
      Team @ Cellpoint

  • Received the order within 2 days via Express post, great service.

  • currently on live chat with boost for over 6 hours trying to port from telstra. what a joke.
