          probably multiple emails, different occupants, slightly different ways of writing addresses, or same / slight variations on name using multiple addresses.

          at least people can't bot buy their way outta it.

                Noticed your comment got removed but I agree. Nvidia should have allocated proper stock in Australia. I get there’s a shortage globally, but this was a bit lame.

      Yeah, there was a bot that guys were using to push through sales stupidly quick, one guy posted on twitter that he got like 42 of the FE's.

        Ahh, yeah I could imagine that, they probably wrote a JavaScript handle, when the timer counts down the macro clicks the link, maybe generating random name place holder.

        But mwave have a spam notification box, bot no visual spam box, so mwave are partly to blame because bots can 1 trillion percent get around that, but not visual.

    Nvidia should've delayed releasing the 3080s until there was sufficient stock for most people. They hyped up the release, and when it actually got released no-one could get their hands on one. Pretty disappointing, as all this does is breed scalpers and makes some retailers jack up the prices. After all, it's not until October 28 that AMD's new GPUs get announced - I get trying to release a product early before the competition - but there was still plenty of time to boost the stock levels. Don't know why they launched prematurely.

      I wonder with Sony's two month delayed price announcement will meet the wraith of Nvidias preorder event.

      Because noone can even preorder a ps5.

    I bet mwave have 20 stocked in the back ready for eBay price hike, make A few grand scalping…

    That's $2000 a GPU, and $3500 for the 3090 (look what happened to the face masks, and toilet paper 😅😹) they'll probably make roughly $20.000 bucks pocket money by christmas.

    Not bad (on mwaves side, while sad, atleast we all suffer together) buy and demand, because of that i might start getting into whole sale and sell ice crystals.

        Checked their feedback history. Looks like they were also selling new Oculus Rifts and Nintendo Switches back in covid first lockdown (when prices for these were WAY inflated due to shortage). Seems to be a store employee scalping lol

    What would be very interesting is if MWave just published the % of reclaimed units.

    So if they had 1000 to sell and found 200 of them had been allocated to the same address twice then that would be a 20% reclaim value.

      Can we interpolate from that that at a minimum you must have 500 cards to send out? 0.2% could only represent 1 full card at the minimum so 1% is 5 cards? :o)

        It is rare that such a generational performance improvement hasn't come with a huge premium. A lot of people were shocked at not just performance but the price (excluding the scumbag companies that price gouge, may they forever rott in hell).
