Last time I bought this it only lasted a couple of weeks before it stopped supplying power. Shame, because I actually liked it.

It is just another rebadged TUYA power switch. (would not hurt to say that in the post). I was hoping for a wifi fan controller.

Not very helpful. "wifi adapter" sounds like a USB dongle for your PC, to get wifi. The key concept is it has a 240V power relay.
I think it was $11 looking at your uploaded receipt OP. Might want to update title.
