A quick breakdown of the product:

    Tried the Vanilla, Chocolate and Chocolate Orange from a previous deal when I got 5kg last time. Can confirm that those flavours all mix well with water, milk, almond milk or oat milk. The flavouring is not overly sweet. When I received my previous bags, a couple of the bags were leaking protein - probably because of rough handling by the postage company. When I contacted the store, they organised a replacement and I sent those bags back, easy to deal with. Suggest people also note the amount of protein per 100g. Some protein companies have WPI at closer to 90%, a lot of the flavoured ones here are around the high 70%'s and from a protein content perspective, the unflavoured may be the most bang for buck. Giving it a thumbs up as it's still a good deal and am trying the Chocolate Coconut and Strawberry this time. Good video from Jay too.

    I've tried a lot of proteins, nitrotech whey is the best flavour ive had so far, as well as rule one whey birthday cake flavour. However, i order 90% of my supplements already from amino z. I definitely need to try your own brand wpi. I'll be back to judge which flavour's better, currently trying to finish your 4.8kg strawberry deal you had, going to be a while haha =)

      I'll just jump in quickly here. It depends on your goal - is this a combination of fat and muscle, or just lean muscle you're looking to gain?

      Essentially you're going to need a calorie overload. This protein would be good post workout for recovery. However a mass gainer is an effective tool to bump up your calories throughout the day if you struggle to eat enough.

      As a general guide, Optimum Nutrition do have some good gainers. Serious Mass is more your budget gainer and the newer Gold Standard Gainer is a better quality product, but you're also paying more for it. I'd only really recommend a gainer if you cannot consume sufficient calories from food, as food will be much more nutrient rich.

          No worries. If you're struggling to eat more calorie rich foods, you can try adding in a mass gainer on top of what you are already eating. Don't decrease everything else - you'll need to increase your total caloric intake. Hope this helps.

    Great reviews, and even greater company owner that has fantastic values. Purchased three kilos to give it a crack. As a researcher, I appreciate the effort referencing, but more importantly, the open I love having the lab tests.

    Just one thing of advice, I found to website very slow, and even the coupon code kept coming as invalid after multiple attempts. However, I assume this is because this deal is being OzBargained!

      It's only valid for the 1kg and 3kg sizes. Not for the 5kg size I'm afraid. You can choose multiple flavours in the 1kg size though and the coupon code will work.

    How does this compare with Scitec nutrition 100% whey protein professional (in terms of taste)? I bought a chocolate tub from you guys in July 2019 (Scitec)and still have most left because there's something in there that tastes like poison to me haha! I'm sure it's just an ingredient that disagrees with my taste buds but I'm really not sure what it is.

      Ours is a slightly richer chocolate taste. It's sweetened differently also (Scitec uses the artificial sweeteners Acesulfame K and Sucralose). This will also have an impact on the flavour profile.
