Amino Z Whey Protein Isolate WPI 1kg $29.95 Delivered (+ $5 credit) or 3kg $69.95 Delivered (+ $15 credit) @ Amino Z

2590
OZB-WPI

Update 1/10 - All flavours are available except banana which has been further delayed. This flavour we import from the USA and our shipment has been delayed due to the wharf strikes. Our shipper is doing everything possible, but we have been told today that it may now arrive October 22nd (at the earliest). Vanessa is going to reach out to everyone who has backordered banana flavour. If you have ordered banana and prefer to switch flavours, please PM us and Vanessa will action this for you.

A couple of weeks back we did a promotion on our WPC and I've received a few requests to do one on our WPI. So here goes:

1kg for $29.95 Delivered + $5 back in store credit (Usually $34.95 + Delivery)
3kg for $69.95 Delivered + $15 back in store credit (Usually $94.95 + Delivery)

Coupon code: OZB-WPI

Here's a video I whipped up for the deal (including product info and mixing demo): https://youtu.be/Z-k3m7Hrzno

A quick breakdown of the product:

  • Available in: Chocolate, Vanilla Creamy, Chocolate Coconut, Banana, Strawberry, Choc Orange (like Jaffa's) and Unflavoured
  • Per serve: 29.1 - 24.4g protein / 0.3 - 0.9g fat / 0.4 - 3.4g carbs (varies between flavours)
  • All natural flavouring and sweetener. We use stevia and no artificial flavours.
  • Soy free - we use sunflower lecithin instead of soy lecithin (which is common in whey proteins)
  • 100% Australian made
  • Backed by our 110% guarantee. Try it and if you don't love it, we'll give you 110% back (in store credit) or a full refund (including delivery). As I mentioned in the video, we offer this so you can try the product risk-free.

Some other notes:

  • If you're after 3kg, you can choose a 3kg size OR 3x 1kg sizes if you want to try different flavours. We pack these into 1kg pouches so either way you'll receive 3x 1kg pouches. To do so, just add in multiple 1kg options (eg. 1kg Chocolate, 1kg Vanilla, 1kg Chocolate Coconut) and then apply the coupon code in cart.
  • To view the full nutritional panel, just click on the "NUTRITIONAL INFO" tab on the page and then select the flavour.
  • Store credit is assigned as "Z Points" to your account once your order ships. It can then be applied to any future order that you place.
  • Best before dates will be 22-24 months away. We turn this product over very quickly so all current stock has been produced recently.

Some updates from customer suggestions (thanks so much for the feedback everyone - it's the best way for us to improve!!):

  • We have confirmed that the protein is grass fed, added hormone free, ultra and micro filtered and cold pressed. This is published on the product page description - thanks @RichardMelbourne
  • The amino acid profile is now published in the product page description - thanks @Yuddenator123

Any questions please ask!

PS. As a side note, I would love to get any feedback you may have on the product. We have spent a lot of time on ingredient sourcing and optimising the flavouring, but we are heavily focused on ongoing product improvement. Please feel free to reach out with product suggestions at any time as I'd love to discuss this with you and share with the team.

          • @aminozcomau: Hi Jay,

You're alright mate and thumbs up for your services. Obviously, it wasn't your fault. I will definitely put 5 stars and will recommend you guys to my friends and family. At the end it's all going well.👍

            Thanks

            • @Jiva: Awesome thanks for the feedback Jiva, glad we got that one sorted. It's quite challenging right now with all national carriers being over-extended. On the back of this, I had a meeting with Vanessa and the team is undergoing additional training. We've also updated our ETA's in our checkout to reflect the current climate.

  • I've been using AminoZ now for a year.

but I use a different protein product personally which has been amazing for me on my weight loss journey.

but the customer service has always been great and packaged well and delivery always on time and afterpay is very handy to have.

    • Thanks for sharing Willco88, I really appreciate the support!

  • Hey, never used any protein product before. Am trying some weight loss and starting with cutting down on my soft drinks/junk food/food quantity etc. Where should I start? Is this product something for me to sip while I work (wfh now thanks to Covid lockdowns)? How much of this consumption need to be complimented with some exercise? Bit of exercise bike time is all that I can fit in.

    • +2

Thanks for the asking shadowarrior. I wouldn't necessarily suggest this product to be used as something to drink consistently throughout the day. If you're looking to lose weight, you're going to need to reduce your calories and drinking water instead of soft drinks is going to have a huge impact on your results. The ultimate goal is to consume less calories than you expend.

If you're exercising at a moderate to higher level of intensity, then our WPI can be a good protein to be taking after your workout to help facilitate recovery.

However if you're just doing some low intensity exercise (to move around), I'd suggest looking at a casein protein as a junk food replacement. Micellar casein is a slow absorbing protein powder, so it will keep you fuller for longer (and most likely help curb cravings for junk food in between meals). This is in contrast to this isolate product which is fast absorbing, so it's not going to have the best impact on satiety.

      Here's our Micellar Casein: https://www.aminoz.com.au/amino-z-micellar-casein.html

1 scoop is about 120 calories. If you're just having this in water (or even skim/lite milk) for morning and/or afternoon tea to replace snacks, then you're likely going to encourage the calorie deficit you need to lose weight.

Apart from this I would look at the foods you're consuming and try to make gradual adjustments where possible. My suggestion (based on years of personal training in my previous life) is to make gradual adjustments. Even if you just start with reducing soft drink and junk food by something that is manageable. From my experience, I'd suggest against cutting things out altogether as this can be much more difficult to adjust to (for some this works, for most it results in a rebound effect). You don't want to create the feel of a temporary diet. Instead focus on sustainability and consistency.

      Hope this is of help.

      Jay

      • Thanks for the detailed info Jay. You are 100% right on the complete cut off. I have tried multiple times to completely stop all junk food/soft drinks, only to give up after X days or X months and eat a whole bunch regularly. Weird, it wasn't hard for me to quit smoking when I did a decade back :\

Thanks for the advice again, I'll check out the casein protein. Yep, I was looking for something that I can easily mix with water (and that tastes good) so I feel full between main meals. Working from home creates a bad habit of walking over to the kitchen and munching on some chips, pour a glass of soft drink, grab some chocolates/nuts/an ice cream :|

        Thanks again :)

        • My pleasure shadowarrior. I can certainly appreciate the challenge working from home myself. All the best with it!

  • Just giving everyone a heads up that the shipping takes some time. Ordered a month ago 16/9, shipped on 24/9 and still waiting today 16/10. I've tracked the shipping and it was collected 25/09 from Sydney. It might be because I'm from Perth but shipping is taking a long time, 3 weeks and counting.. Order #109575800

Hi Mattylicious - I'll get Vanessa to chase this one up for you - this is far too long even to Perth. She will reach out via PM.

      Jay

      (Thanks Jay!)
Hi @Mattylicious- I agree it shouldn't take that long. I'm really sorry about the delay. I have raised this to the courier and I will keep you posted. I have also sent you an email with the details of the new order I created. Please feel free to also reply to that email in case you require further assistance or if you have any other enquiries. Thank you! (Vanessa- CS Team)

  • Looks like my order is in the same situation as Mattylicious on the way to Perth. Dispatched in Sydney on 23/09, and appears to still be in Sydney as that's the only tracking update?

    Order #109576900

    • Hi gazlaz - I'll forward this over to Vanessa so she can action this for you.

      Jay

    • Hi gazlaz- I have also submitted a request to the courier for investigation/depot search and will continue chasing them from here. I have sent you an email with your new order details and I'm really sorry the delay is taking this long. Thank you for reaching out and please feel free to reply to my email should you need further assistance. Thank you! (Vanessa)

      • Thanks Vanessa, parcel received today. Have sent you an email response to follow up. Great customer service :)

  • Hi there - I've ordered a bunch of the chocolate isolate and have a few quality questions:

    1) There are some pure white clumps in it
    2) Overall it is less "powdery" and clumps more than other whey, such as Musashi or ON.

Can you explain why this is, and why it is not a reflection of poor QC/quality? I'm not saying it is - but would like to know why the difference.

    Thanks

    • I'm very sorry about that and I appreciate you reaching out Cirrus123.
While the product itself will have nothing wrong with it, it may not have been blended properly. The quality of the ingredients is no issue.

Kindly PM me your order details as well as the products' batch numbers so I can also pass this on? I'll happily replace the order for you as well. Thank you!
