Can you please provide more details about the specs of the PCs?

  • +2

How do you purchase and Specs on towers would probably help

  • +18

Imagine the horror those seats have gone through

    • Would have to drown the keyboard and mouse in alcohol for a day I reckon. All that dried sweat and skin.
Don't even get me started on the headsets.

      • +3

I remember once when clearing out a closed business this one keyboard was covered in a layer of the filth. The worst part was the crunch the keys made as they were pressed. I'll never forget how sickening it was.

      • throw it away.

      • +1

        Keep going. I'm almost there.

  • +4

As is? Specs? How to order? Shipping? Pickup only?

    • +4

      It's got a hard driver
      .

    • no thanks

    • no no thanks

  • Omg, $500 for this spec?

    • That sad moment when this pc has similar specs to your current pc.

I have more ram and storage but my CPU is i7-2600 lol and you is a low profile version of this ti.

Feel kind of stupid now paying so much for it but it has served me well these past few years.

  • +6

Where's the deal? Harvesting DNA samples from 10,000 people?

    • It would probably cost more to clean the pc than actually buy it.

  • +17

This isn't a deal, it's a LAN Cafe going under and not providing any info about purchasing anything…

    • +3

      lol sounds about right ….

  • +2

Piss poor post and no deal

    • +1

      you should trademark ppp

      • +2

PPP…. And X deal!! (Cross arms while yelling NO DEAL!)

  • +7

This feels more like a Gumtree-worthy post.

  • Any thoughts on gaming chair? reckon it's good value for $50?

    • +2

Definitely not - in the condition that they're in, you're probably going to be sitting on the wooden base of the chair (rather than any of the cushioning)

      • If I can find one without the broken cushions is it worth it? And is actually okay?

        • Jump onto Kogan and wait for specials I bought one for $79 of course depends what type if chair your after👍

edit: yupz just checked kogan site, no specials at Kogan at the moment, you'll have too keep an eye on them for any specials

      • You dont know that without further information - they could have been purchased in January for all we know.

Actually I take back what I said - I just read the history of that thoroughly.

They are probably 50% dirt and 50% aids.

    • +5

The amount of random sweaty asses that have been on it. I'd rather fork out more brand new.

A bargain is only worth so much.

      • How much would it brand new being

        • They're generic gaming chairs. Check out eBay around $150

        • You could get the exact same generic type they're offering for $100-$150.

        • Try googling "Thunderx3" and figure out the model.

Then google "ass cancer" and figure out how much that would cost you.

If the cancer is less than the saving buying used, the chair is a bargain.

    • Might be worth checking stock in your local Officeworks store. Generic similars one as cheap with a 3 years warranty. Check out Typhoon Gaming High Back Chair $99 @ Officeworks

    • +2

Depends. Considering all the DNA material on it, you definitely get more than what you paid for

    • dont buy 2nd hand chairs lol, you will sit on it, you dont know where its been

  • +15

Sorry your business is closing down but OzBargain isn't your garage.

    • +5

although, interestingly, my garage situation is most definately caused by ozbargain.

  • Guys if this business is going.under then surely there wouldn't have been THAT many people using their PC's…. Or else they wouldn't be going under

    • The usage of the PC isn't in question, it's the usage of the chairs.

The PC themselves are being critiqued because their specs are terrible.

      • Well samething right… Lol not enough ppl sitting on those chairs that's why they going under….

        • +1

Or maybe in the current climate, it's near impossible to get people to come in, and their business has suffered as a result.

Maybe the business has been open for years and they've only just started to see a decline and no longer profitable?

I don't know any of their operations details, so admittedly they're just assumptions, and assumptions are generally bad.

But i wouldn't waste my money on unsures.

    • True

  • +4

Deals like this should be removed by moderators as thats what gumtree is for. I eould prefer to scroll theough the deals section knowing that there sre real deals rather people posting there stuff like a garage sale. Also, not really a deal especially at second hand

    • Agreed, and bad specs

    • The mods will remove it. As you can see the reports have gone unresolved.

  • -3

For anyone asking about specs, if you actually click on the deal it shows you the specs:

    • +5

Before it didn't - OP just updated with the specs.

      • +1

Ah okay. That makes sense then.

  • are those specs asking you if its correct …..? ??? ?
    ??
    ?
    ?????
might be the specs are questionable …i dun know im leaving now ————>

  • +1

Hmmm, reckon if I go to them and ask for a bargain and get it for $200? If I can get it for $200? Would it be worth it? hahahahahahahahaha

    • +2

Just sold a PC to my brother with similar specs (better branded parts) for $200. no way i'd ever buy these specs for $500, even with the monitor and keyboard.

    • +3

I honestly wouldn't bother - these aren't even second nor third-hand. These are thousandth-hand products.

  • +2

    I didn't know I was on Gumtree!

  • +3

Please post this on gumtree instead

  • -3

Not gonna neg, I remember when a few net cafes have closed down in Adelaide, despite some mockery, everything sold out quick. Looks similar here
These PC are fine for uni students, they would be wway faster then the dell mini desktops running all that business spyware that makes them go like a snail at study labs.

    • +1

      Was that on Ozbargain?

  • +1

This is legit the worst post I’ve ever seen, I might consider it if you pay me $50 to take this off your hands.

  • +1

    Negged, no deal

  • Best I can do is $3.50

    • +1

      So, your buying 4 units?

      • Only if we handshake on it.

        Spits in hand.

  • Apparently there are only selling it in 10 units batches, and adjusting price seeing how well it's sold. Also does anyone know how many PC they have totally?

  • +3

"Since the vaccine is coming soon, The business will get a big boost from next year.if anyone wanna have a try to invest, I will sell 50% share for 50,000. I will still manage the business so you don't have to worry the operating.Let me know ASAP. This is available for a week or 2 only."

    Oh dear.

  • +1

Wow, no wonder you're closing down.
There's no deal here. Lack of information too.

  • Don't mean to be a hater, but for an internet cafe, these specs are legit trash. a 1050-ti gets you 46 fps on Overwatch, 54 fps on Fortnite according to GPU User Benchmark. On top of that, 1080P 75hz business monitors. What sort of gaming experience is this supposed to be where u can't play any new games???

    • +1

Target market is probably kids or teenagers that can't lan party.

I know that's what we used internet cafes for in my day.

Warcraft 3 and cs zero was all we played.

So yeah I think the target market is not high end gaming or latest titles just the massively played ones like league and the ones you mentioned.

Usually high end gamers build their own machine to enjoy at home not at a Cafe but I could be wrong people do be travelling and be out and about and shit.

  • Not gumtree

  • +1

If you are offering people $500 to take these off your hands then put the amount in as (-$500). lol

  • lol, ridiculous

  • Whats that model number for all the parts? Are these even from a reputable brand, or is it just cheap Chinese crap?
