        Market value in this case dictates whether it is a bargain and not the RRP. Market value is based upon supply vs demand. That value is somewhere between $1,200 and $1,400 at an estimate based on eBay. The same for PS5. Therefore if you are one of the fortunate ones to get a unit at RRP then you have a bargain. Next!

    According to https://www.finder.com.au/buy-xbox-series-x-online, there are 8 or 9 retailers selling Xbox Series X. So far we have deals from Microsoft, Telstra, Big W, JB Hifi and EB games. Can't wait to see these RRP deals from Amazon, Target, Kogan, Catch, eBay, Harvey Norman etc.
    Oh, did I miss the Good Guys and Kmart? Sorry.

      Maybe because of the people that cancelled. no deposit needed on microsoft store so its easy to just add to cart and confirm then cancel later.

    You can try add XBox Series X to cart with steps:

    • Navigate to https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/configure/Xbox-Series-…
    • Right click on the "Choose your console (required)" text above the square section with Out of Stock wording, click Inspect.
    • You should see "Choose your console (required)" in h4 tag.
    • The DIV section below contains class="oos" and disabled="disabled"
    • Change the class from "oos" to "m-channel-placement-item m-cart-placement-item f-wide f-full-bleed-image" and remove disabled="disabled".

    You are now able to add the xbox series x to cart.

    I can get to Place Order screen. But I haven't tried since I want to go to EB to trade in. But at least you have your cart ready for next available stock. :D

      Yup, able to add to cart using above steps,
      Didn't proceed as want to trade in with EBgames.

        I just successfully used this to purchase one. I added it to my cart when I first read this comment, and then for the longest time it didn't go through - kept coming up with an error. Went and had dinner, and then I just randomly tried again now (it was still in my cart from when I tried earlier) and it went through. Thank you.

            @Miksta: Yep. Email says releasing on 9th of Nov. I might just have tried to put it through just as they got more stock in, or maybe somebody cancelled their preorder? But after it was successful I looked at the previous page where you can add it to cart, just to check, and it still said out of stock. So I'm not sure why it went through when it did.

    An update for you ladies and gents I have just received a credit on my cashback for the purchase. Maybe all the push back from oz bargain members and cashback has made Microsoft have a change of heart whatever the case it now seems as though we are getting a cashback for the Microsoft Xbox series X purchases.

    LOL .. Xbox Series S is still in stock when the Xbox series X sold out in 15 minutes. .. Looks like no one wants that overpriced, under powered, digital only option.
    My Cashrewards order is being tracked.. not sure if it will be confirmed but time will tell i guess.

        Not quite sure, status on my MS account / current orders shows that the order is still pending. The funds came out yesterday (Saturday) so maybe they just can't send yet because it's the weekend. Not too fussed or in any hurry, it will get here eventually :-)

      Yes, they charged last month and then the money actually went back into my account last week. It came out again the week just past and then I got the email saying it was on the way.

        So strange…. i think i had that same thing happen to me but i cant find it on my bank statement anymore.. its like it never was charged.. but i did see the number of $749 last month and now i cant find that $749 anymore from last month

          Yes it is stupid the way it does the whole process. The credit actually wipes out the original amount that got deducted from your account, so if you search for an amount of $749.00 you will come up with nothing. It's not even really a credit, more like they delete the withdrawal from ever happening. Lucky the amount is fairly unique, so I had an idea of what was going on and just left the funds in my account.
