It sure was mate. Only thing i changed was adding the line, "Add to cart and apply the code for the full discount," so instructions are super, super clear.

          Have a happy Friday.

          • @4155580: Oof, looks like they got too much hate for that. Y'all are savage.

        • Before you make claims like that, did you know you can check the 'revisons'?

  • +2

It is weird that the price in my cart is $227.19 after applying discount code.

    • +3

Yea I'm seeing the same thing too….

$181.29 when asking to add to cart.
      $244.30 when inside the cart

      • +2

        Me too. Same….

      • +2

Darn.. seems like this might be a pricing error from Dell which they must be correcting. Original price is now listed at $349.00 instead of $258.99. Sorry fellas.

The time has come to go 4k! Don't get tempted by these 1080p deals ;)

    • The 2k deal is solid:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/569965

For me 4k would be overkill, but we all have different needs…

      • +1

4k is actually better even if it's just for web browsing

          • +2

@FLICKIT: I already run a dual 4k with 1 1440p for gaming, the difference is actually much more significant than people think

            • @ln28909: got a pic of your desk with the monitors?

how big are your monitors and what is the models?

                1x 27 1440p Dell S2721DGF

I originally want to setup in a triangle with the 1440p on top, but I couldn't find a suitable stand

                • @ln28909: thanks..
                  nice setup..

do you think doing something like

2 x 24" (currently owned) and 1x34" inch ultrawide (e.g. xiaomi) would be a good setup?

                  • @pinkybrain: Maybe. If you run the 2 24 vertically, if not I wouldn't recommend using monitors with different heights side by side.

I use to run a 32 with the 2 4k monitors and it annoys me so much that I had to change to the Dell

    Not working when checking out

  • Phew. Just managed to get order confirmation at 10.25am and then posted the deal … as a dupe.

  • Just talked to
the guy from Dell customer service. He said the price is $244.30. Dell changes promotions every Thursday night.

    $227.19 with coupon now

    • I bought a pair of S2421HS screens instead. HS has a better stand, and the size is just fine for a HD screen. Only $162, can't let that for away. I can sell my old screens of the same size for more than $100 each, and I get much, much better screens in these Dells

      • Great monitor. I got one from the previous ebay deal. I thought $183 was a good price. Should have waited.

  • +1

I would go for 1440P or 4k at 27 inch screen size :)

  • i have actually added it to cart earlier. it still shows 168 to me.

  • Still listed as $181.29

and far right on this page https://deals.dell.com/en-au/category/monitor_deals.

Used chat to try and get them to honour it - no use.

Blamed it on "the system" saying it was the price until yesterday and they cannot do anything about it. WTF, a computer company using "the computer says no" as an excuse.

Previous personal experience, was that Dell customer service was always interested in making sales. The Dell of old would have honoured this sort of thing, but apparently not anymore. Their customer service has apparently become as bad as most other corporations.
