    I ordered pizza hut last time this deal came up. It reminded me why I never buy from there. I would rather eat frozen pizza from the supermarket. Better off sprinkling cheese on cardboard. =P

      phwoar, my experience is the opposite. Dominos bad, PH ok.
      My local Dominos on Brissy southside is super bad, especially when a coupon is used. Like they DGAF on the pizzas they cooked. First time I open the box it already looks deflated like leftovers I wanted to bin it immediately (and having to eat it because 'don't waste food' was punishment).

        Same here, Dominos bad, PH ok, although PH have shirty deals compared to Dominos I usually wait until Tuesdays to get BOGOF deal.

        Yep, I prefer PH to dominos anyday. Maybe because pepperoni is my favourite pizza and the $5 ones at Dominos are an absolute joke.

        Dominos seem to be winning the pizza wars these days, keeping PH in business is good for competition.

          it didn't help that Pizza Hut had the weirdest ideas when it comes to premium crust options, such as:

          • putting little pies on the crust
          • filling the entire length of the crust with sausage
          • "The retailer has experimented with crusts in the past, famously - or infamously - putting cheeseburgers, Doritos corn chips and Vegemite inside."

          should've just copied Domino's Edge

      Also the opposite experience. Domino's pizza tastes like cardboard. The local pizza hut's manager is amazingly enthusiastic and their pizzas have great flavour.

    Pizza Hut 50% cashback didn't track last time despite the Cashrewards extension icon showing the orange tick and the panel saying Activated. Lodged a claim after 7 days and it is being investigated :-(

      I lodged a claim with the support team and sent them screenshots of the receipt. It took roughly 5 days for them to reply and fix the issue. You shouldn't have any problems. :)

          Why would it? As long as you click through Cashrewards you should be fine regardless whether you pay by credit card, via PayPal or Zip.

              @alvian: Does it read "ineligible if used in conjunction with Zip Pay promotional offers"? My understanding is as long as no promotional offers are involved with Zip Pay, you should be fine. Zip Pay is just another payment method, just like PayPal. Maybe TA can clarify on this.

        yup, made sure to get a receipt in store this time. It didn’t track once previously as well (back in January for the $10 off) and when i submitted the claim I was denied because apparently there was no record of me purchasing it.

        Yes I did, I just checked all the folders including doing a Manual search. No email. Storeman at the time of pick did know what my order was but for some reason did not actually get order in Thier normal system. I thought would eventually get email but no. Had I used my pizza hut account and not a guest account I may have been able to retrieve order details

    I'm trying to work out the cheapest way to order 6 pizzas.. I've been trying different codes.. But now I'm confusing myself. Does anyone know which code/codes would be best to use with this cashrewards deal?

    I'm still finding it hard to find it cheaper than Domino's.. Even with the cashrewards promotion. However, my father seems to think that pizza hut uses more toppings compared to dominoes.. So he's wanting me to order pizza hut.

    Any help would be great please!

      I would say it varies by location, for both franchises. Recent Pizza Hut experiences were generally quite poor, they avoided the edge with the toppings like the plague. Some had better than others, and the dough texture varied too. Then again, Domino’s aren’t exactly setting the world on fire. Just my experience, of course.

    Out of all the dominos in Canberra. Dickson one is by far the worst. Every single time I’ve been there (10+ times over the course of 5 years, I’ve had major issueS) tried to redeem my free pizza code from last Facebook promo there and they wanted to charge me an extra 50cents where none of the others I tested charged this. The 3 times before that they would forget 2-3 of the toppings I ordered…..

    I find both dominos and Pizza Hut to have pros and cons.

    Last time I ordered for delivery and it didn't turn up, after about 45 minutes on hold/talking/being cut off so having to call back 3 times to their call centre in the Philippines I ended up going to pick it up. The pizzas were ready they just were behind on deliveries apparently, not a good experience overall but still going to order this again :/

                @El Grande: I would be surprised and not a jolly CR user if the CB is rejected as long as the order isn't altered or cancelled or ordered via the PH app. The terms allow for all Pizza hut promos and difference is that this offer is standard Tuesday only and not applicable for other days that requires codes.

      Cashback is capped at $15 so once you go over $30 you won't receive any extra cash back.

    Mine didn't track last time either.
    Weirdly my click history shows a time about an hour before I ordered, and about an hour afterwards (why I would have clicked through an hour after I ordered I have no idea), but it doesn't show a click through at the time I ordered, although I could swear I activated CR.
    Very strange.
