    $854.05 with coupon code 92NZQL0O40D85G

    • and stack with 5% discounted e-gift card too!

  • Pretty good price, and to think I was contemplating about getting a used one for 650 not too long ago

Why would you get this when you can get the S20 FE 5G for this price?

      • +1

        FE is plastic too

      • +4

LOL snapdragon 865 is midrange? You clearly know nothing about phones

        • -6

i thought it was a midrange phone cause it's priced at $699USD retail

    • Where am I getting the FE at $899, the 4g one starts at $999 doesn’t it

      • Selling the free ear buds or education portal maybe ?

  • +3

Still sticking with my s10 5g. Still holds up very well and has headphone jack.

    • good phone? how much did you spend?

      • It was an upgrade through telstra last year. Been using everyday. Good screen for multimedia consumption, running andriod 10 with one ui 2.5 , supports wireless dex which samsung introduced with latest note 20 ultra, supports 25w fast charging out of the box and has headphone jack. I think it only lacks higher refresh rate.

  • Anyone got any s10+ deals floating around?

    • this is a 6.7 inch screen btw

      • true true

I am looking for a deal on the S10e. The S10 and S10+ seems too big to use with one hand.

      • +1

Battery life is very short. Otherwise the best phone I've owned

5g band unusable in Australia. Australia only has n78, n258, n40 5g bands none of them are in this phone

    • +2

I am using telstra 5g in this phone.

    • +1

This phone has n78 which is what most of the coverage currently is

  • Sorry it seems to have n78 band.
May be different country versions sold in different country have different bands

  • Does it work with optus 5G?

Get the s20 Fe instead..way better deal more so if you have a phone which you want to get rid off , but only is it would sell for sub 200.. Samsung is offering 200 + trade value( which is abysmally low btw) for trade ups , you get the buds which can be resold for 200, you also get 50 bucks for signing up which btw you will not get a voucher for so just have to ask the chat bot for a voucher and you get a 3 year guaranteed software upgrade. That is of course if you do not mind a plastic back which I am guessing you will be putting a cover on anyway,.Forgot to mention sd card slot and dual sim with esim and a telephoto lense

    • Convinced me to get this!

  • I have this phone and it has been a great phone, but I just paid $928 to upgrade to the S20 FE. Better phone with faster chipset, expandable storage, and better screen.

    • Did you get the 5g version?

      • +1

        Yep

    • But you lost the 3.5mm headphone jack. The solid case. The extra Bixby button. The TOF camera on front and back. This phone was amazing value a year ago with all its features. A steal at this this price

      • Yeah. Totally agree.
I have been using this for a year now. I almost daily use headphone jack and side key is really helpful to open any app you select just by clicking it.

      • I use Bluetooth for my earphones and car audio.

When I want serious audio quality, I plug-in my USB DAC to use with my wired headphones.

I cracked my glass back on my S10 5G - I see the plastic back as an advantage.

The bixby button I also never use. I did set it as a shortcut but everytime bixby updates, it breaks the shortcut.

I've never cared for the TOF feature - I find it gimmicky at best. Prefer normal good quality stills.

The major annoyance I have at the moment is the lack of expandable storage. Otherwise yes it has been a great phone.

  • Picked this up a few months ago from JB from one of their deals and worked out to be around $599 and with a Telstra 80gb plan on $55 a month for 12 months with 5G. Pretty happy with the phone after moving from an iPhone 8 plus, and battery is great and lasts all day.

  • This is a 1st gen 5g phone, which have been mentioned on MKBHD video that the phone will be warm whenever switching to 5g. Just to keep this in mind.

    • So you think the 2nd generation does not warm up as much?

      • 2nd gen will be freezing cold

      • I don't know, at least the technology has mature a bit.

So confusing reading reviews on all the phones online, I need a new phone, was looking at the pixel 5 and then the Samsung s20fe, peoples opinions on 6 million phones out there make it hard to choose 1.

    • +1

I'm in exact same boat, been going round in circles for ages: OP 8 Pro - great phone but lacking support in Aus (and has had one of the cameras basically deactivated) so pass; S20 FE 5G - only main misfires on 1080P res (technically lower than even my current S7) and only Gorilla Glass 3 screen (almost feels like Samsung are begging you to drop it, lol!); Pixel 5 - form factor aside I personally would prefer a larger display, but otherwise paper specs also seem very similar to 4/4XL (yes, I'm aware of all the comments about Pixels being more about software… but even so…); Pixel 4XL - discontinued before it could be discounted….. so so many almosts, but with this even with the Exy processor instead of SD one and lack of higher refresh rate, for this price on the S10 5G, it feels like this is a great steal.

    • @mwblink86, although mixed reviews here an there but Galaxy S20 FE 5G is better choice then Pixel 5 with 50% of RRP price on SES promotion deal.
