[PC, XB1] Logitech G923 $499 (Was $599) + Delivery @ Computer Alliance

120

The new Logitech G923 is $100 off at computer alliance.

It's a while stocks last sale, so have no clue when discount would end!

Personally I'm waiting for a good discount or bundle for the last model of wheel (Logitech G920).

Enjoy

P.S Apologies,I didn't put the price in the title at first, This is my first post and didn't see the part where it says to put in a price. so It was a genuine mistake and miss-understanding.

I Apologise for not putting price in title, I have poor eyesight and have to move in closer to see more faded texts.

  • What are the big improvements over the old version?

    • Just some extra motor stuff and more refinement from what I've seen… personally just going to buy the model before… Still a decent deal though.

    • Mainly just marketing gimmicks, better to get older one on sale

  • From what I remember of my research a while back, Thrustmaster are a step up over the Logitech design.
https://pagnianimports.com.au/collections/thrustmaster/produ… PS Version - $439 at time of writing
https://pagnianimports.com.au/collections/thrustmaster/produ… XB Version - $459 at time of writing

    • Thrustmaster are however a bit more pricey, considering that once you include their cheapest shifter (around $300) you'll easily be spending $800, whereas with the logitech range the shifter is around $60. Thrustmaster is better but for the price I see it as being extremely expensive, Currently in the market for my first wheel and I'm on a very tight budget!

      • I ended up going the T150 above, it has paddle shifters and they really do feel good, solid action on them. But yeah, I guess if you want the separate gated manual shifter etc, it can add up - however, you do have more of an ecosystem where you can get upgrades etc. Logitech is you get what you get and that's it.

        • The t150 is great if you get cheap and just casually play. G29 is better as you can get off gumtree for dirt cheap. The problem with these entry level cheapos is that if you like them, you will want to upgrade them. Its better to save money upfront

      • If you're on a tight budget, check out FB Marketplace and pickup something second hand. You can easily find a G29/G920 with shifter for $300 - sometimes less.

        • The prices have been absolutely absurd, people are selling them for alot more than what they're worth due to the pandemic. I see people selling them for more than what they retail for haha!

          • @banterbants: Gotta be quick, but I picked up a G29 with the shifter for $300 early in the Covid period which was about 6 months old. I wouldn't pay much more than that personally. Plenty of G27s around for $150-250 too.

            • @nafe: Looking to buy new for warranty and such. Last year for black friday there was a deal at JB, $350 for g29 and g920 including the shifter. trying to wait for a good deal like that personally.

  • Also worth mentioning the G923 from Computer Alliance is $519 on eBay with free delivery: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Logitech-G923-True-Force-Racing-…

This might work out cheaper if you've stocked up on discounted gift cards too. It says there's more than 10 available, so I don't think it's as "low stock" as their website might imply.

  • Recommend thrustmaster t300. Belt vs gears.

    • For $500????? Where?

      • A couple of years back I got one for $98 delivered from EBGames' eBay shop, on clearance. Would have posted here but they only had one :(

  • Would this work for Flight Simulator?

    • A racing wheel? Probs not haha… worth looking in to the logitech flight sim gear

    • If you get the Logitech Shifter add on, then no

  • If you're in Perth I'm looking to get rid of my very regrettably hardly used Thrustmaster TX 458 Italia wheel, sitting on a GTART Racing Wheel Stand and also comes with an unopened Thrustmaster TM GT Leather Racing Wheel you can swap out.. Found out my wife was pregnant shortly after buying this gear. I've only used it on Xbox with Forza 7 and love it. But just don't get the time it deserves to use it..
