Morning OzBarganiners,

This is our very first post on OzBargain, we hope you are as excited as we are. We have set up our new website, and are ready to give away MSI Gaming Chair with every completed system purchased.

We have noticed there are lots of rules and regulations in this web space, so hopefully we have followed them all. Please let us know what we need to improve, we will try our best to achieve that.

A brief introduction of Virco:
Virco was founded in 2017 at Capitol Square Haymarket Sydney, its relatively new business but we are in the IT field for the last two decades with previous trading name. Recently a new investor bought the business and founded Virco, which allows us to be stronger financially and with all the past experiences we had, we are very quickly becoming one of the key players in the computer retail market.
Currently our business is largely focusing on retail, repair and refurbish, with growing demand due to COVID-19, more and more people shop online and are looking for various computer parts, Virco has to expand our supplier channel, to satisfy the needs of our customer.

    With 2280 + shipping. I am expecting 3080 like Techfast's 2195 deal.

    Cpu and graphics card is almost to be last gen.

      Brave indeed. I won't be down voting but just a friendly reminder that without a RTX 3080 at that high price then it definitely wouldn't be a deal worth mentioning on OzBargain.

      The 2070 super is also worth half the price of a RTX 3080 - If people are getting a 3080 in a $2000 computer elsewhere, this would suggest the 2070 Super offer is not great value.

        Cut him slack. RTX 3080 definitely would had been better but don't forget 3700x option is $2200 at Techfast too…with worse motherboard, worse storage, worse case and without liquid cooling and chair.

    This doesn't appear like a good value deal. At >$2.2k I would expect a 3000 series GPU or a 2080S on a custom build.

        I see, well I hope my ROG Strix RTX 3080 preorder comes soon or I may yet move onto this deal! Would be a somewhat downgrade from my current RTX 2080 perhaps. At least it's an AMD CPU and all I got is an Intel i7 8700k and I assume some would say that's an upgrade, but maybe not so much for gaming.

    I wish you all the best, especially in offering OzBargain more competitive pricing on PCs. But you'll need to be aware of what we've come to expect - I took delivery of one of these bad boys recently which really makes this deal pale in comparison. I'm not necessarily saying to try and compete with Techfast as they have a completely different business model to most, but I don't expect a 3700/2070 for $2300 to get a whole lot of traction.

    You guys claim to be “stronger financially” and is becoming one of the “key players in the computer retail market.”

    The “deal” that you bring to the table suggests neither to be true.

    Yikes this is expensive for a 2070 Super build… You are much better off buying from Techfast! As mentioned above you can get the individual parts (or similar equivalents) cheaper on special. You should also put in the post that there are only 5 chairs available as you have stated that on your website under the add to cart button.

    Decent deal, considering the price is pretty good already and then you even get a free chair (worth $400 based on first google result) with it.

    However it's difficult to recommend due to the 3000 series just being too good. With the 3070 around the corner, you'd (allegedly) be able to get similar performance to the 2080ti (about 30% better than the 2070s) for about $200 more (assuming it's possible to get one).
