  • Definitely looks like a good deal based on current prices.
Does this come with Windows preinstalled?

    Thanks

    • yes, it come with Windows 10 Preinstalled, not active. You need to have your own license to active it.
Alternatively, you can purchase Windows 10 with us for $165. OEM DVD. Genuie version, not those $10 version you can find online.

  • Still a decent deal with other graphics cards, albeit psychologically more challenging given higher price.

@virco you may want to post another deal with the lowest cost 2060 super as the base price

  • +2

Can only post one deal per day in OZbargain. Would figure out other deal soon. Thinking about a Intel build with 9400F, what you recon?

    • How does the 9400F compare to this Ryzen 3600?

    • Any chance of a 10400F instead? That'd be a lot better.

Or a more budget focued 10100?

A 9400F could be okay at a certain price though

There's no chance of a 3300X deal I assume becasue of stock :P

      A 2700 could also be good since you're considering a 9400F

    • Yes!

  • +1

Nice build, everything topped up, no upgrades required to add to the checkout cost and all model names mentioned. Keep them coming!

  • +1

Deal out of stock. Anyone attempting to build their own? Interested to build my own with same specs.

I don't think I can beat that price point even if I build myself.

    • +1

Building is a nice hobby. You will learn a lot and that extra cost will pay in terms of experience.

    • +1

      nope, insane deal

    • +1

Nearly identical parts would be $1452.89 excl. shipping

However you could shave $60 off that by not getting RGB RAM

A 2070 Super would probably be better if you want to build it yourself when the 2070 Super goes on sale again: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/7TfRGq

      • Yeah I got the same as you.. damn! Howard they doing it for so cheap!

  • Great deal OP. Some competition for Techfast. It is nice to see an option to buy a PC with named components. Keep it up!

  • Really good deal. Should I get this desktop or this one here for $1250? https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/asus-tuf-fx505-15-6-full-… (friend is selling his brand new, he got it as replacements for another computer)

    • Depends if you want a laptop or a desktop. This deal is a desktop

    • Well, in terms of performance per dollar obviously this is much better. So it really depends on whether you think the portability is worth it. Ryzen mobile 3000 series weren't too good either and Ryzen 4000 mobile series was a big improvement.

      • I am torn……$1250 is a great price for a laptop but on the other end this is so good value…..

    • This PC would be ~50% faster than that notebook PC. It's bit unfair to compare a desktop processor and GPU to a mobile processor and GPU. Other than portability, no real reason to go it imo.

  • OP: Any chance you'll be selling any 2070 Supers without including them in builds?

    • +1

Not on the website, but can purchase individually at the shop.

      • Messaged you on Facebook!

  • +1

Not sure if it is stupid question. Is it cheaper to buy here or wait for 20% off on ebay and put the parts together?

  • oh damn, missed out

  • Please don't change the title OP as it causes the votes to be become misrepresented.

Deal is considered expired if the original configuration of R5 3600 + RTX 2070 is no longer selectable.

    • sorry about that, noted.

  • What's your return policy?

    • 1 Year RTB (Return to Base) warranty. No change of mind. We will post out completed Terms and Condition / warranty info on the website either tonight or tomorrow.

      • Thank you for your reply.

  • +1

I've posted the 2060 Super version as I think it's still a strong deal for someone who wants a PC now. It's at the same link or the post is here:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/574406

    • Thank you for the help

  • How do I buy the 2060 version one on your website and choose pick up? I don't see pick up option, delivery is $30

    • The 2060 Super option is default

      • Yes, but the delivery option seems to be default also? cannot select pick up to save $30…

    • We will try to work out how to let the customer choose pick up option. Just if we take too long to work out how to open up the options, you may like to purchase now, we can deal with delivery $30 when you pick up. please msg us if you have any question.

      • Ok so what if I buy now including postage costs, then give you the receipt no/order no. something like that, so you know not to deliver it. Then come pick up later and you give back $30 cash, would that work?

  • Hi rep, are your cpus oem or retail boxes cpus?

I ask because oem seems to be 1 instead of 3 yr warranty? (correct me if i’m wrong)

    • Retail Box

  • +2

Are we able to get the retail boxes for each component?

How does it compare to this 3600 that is without a gpu - how much extra to buy the GPU by itself…?

    • Well, it's sold out now but that GPU is currently 500. However this build does have RGB RAM which is more expensive and a better power supply

  • Is this still in stock? Seems to let me add to cart but say Out of Stock on this post? Also how do I add Windows if I need it? Thanks!!

    Quick question:
I note that the original build with the MSI RTX 2070 Gaming GP and Deepcool DQ650-M-V2L 650W PSU was $1260. The upgraded build comes with a MSI 2070S Ventus and a Deepcool DQ750-M-V2L 750W for an extra $235.

Please correct me if I’m wrong but from a quick google search, the current retail price difference between the 2070 and 2070S models is about $50 and the Deepcool DQ 650W and 750W is roughly $10.

With all else being the same, shouldn’t the total price for the upgraded build be around $1320 instead of $1495? Am I missing something?

It would be great if you could clarify. Thanks.

    • +1

same questions.. would definitely jump on board if the 2070S build price is right.

    • @virco could you shed some light?

    • +1

Its all about how much marketing fund our PM have inject into each individual product itself. After the rebate, the cost of the product is not that straight forward anymore. Its pretty common practice in the computer hardware market, thats how all the good deal occur.

  • I'm really sad to have missed this nice deal. Will you make more of these 2070 build at the same price?

    • not likely. New deal may post out by end of week.

      • +1

Any hints on what the next deal will be by any chance?

  • So did anyone pickup their computer or is everyone getting it posted?

    • Computer start to post out one by one.

  • We need moreeeeeeeee

  • +1

I guess I missed out on the build with the MSI 2070S. They won't be getting anymore in.

Potentially next deal is with the i5 10400F and 3700X bundled with whatever gfx cards are left I think

    • yeah, we sold out on MSI 2070/2070 Super. Won't stock in anymore.

We like to move on to the next deal.

      • +2

Whats the next deal and when will it be released? I'm ready to buy now.

  • Hi All Ozbargainer,
Thank you for the huge support from the last Ozbargain deal. We as Virco team did not expect such a big hit from everyone. Please allow us to build the machine in the next couple of days. We are shipping our very first few orders from this afternoon using most reliable courier company TNT, expecting to dispatch all the orders before Friday this week (23/10/2020). Thank you for understanding, and hope to see more of you guys soon.

Ps, Yes, we are working on the Terms and Conditions, and warranty page, would post them up soon as well.

    • I'm sad I missed out.

@virco if by chance an order for the msi 2070S or 2070 is cancelled, could you let me know? Happy to buy it.

  • +1

    Noted

    • Please also keep me informed if any of the 2070 or 2070S is cancelled. Eager to purchase.

    • Thanks @virco 👍

Got PC yesterday.. no complaints at all.. excellent value for money

  • +1

    OP,

    just got the pc today.

but why post advised 650w Psu from deep cool. but I received the Thermaltake smart series 600W psu.

I am changing the GPU to my spare 2080ti. and recommended psu is 650W. this is kind of annoying.

besides the power size, the price for both models is nearly doubled.

    http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=Thermaltake+sma…

    OP can you please explain.

    • It's Thermaltake 600w 80+ Gold power supply. We consider it's upgrade from Deepcool to Thermaltake. Review of it is better. However, if you don't like the upgrade of it, we are happy to exchange it back to Deepcool. Sorry about the confusion, sometime if we tempory out of stock, we will use the upgrade model

      • Ok Thanks.

  • mine with 2060 super arrived on Friday. really happy with it. thanks op 🙂

    • How long did shipping take? I’m thinking of getting one but hesitant because of the lack of reviews

      • +1

It arrived within a week of placing the order. They were also very responsive to email. Luis the GM updated my order when I asked to upgrade the SSD.

      • I ordered early and got a 2070 model from them, shipped very quickly. Bought on the Sunday, arrived Tuesday.

  • Hi OP,
When will you be having a new deal out - anytime soon?

    • Out already , havent post the ad that's all, would post it soon.
