I got the hazelnut ones last time but both packets expire on 25 October. They do taste delicious though but started giving me an upset stomach. I'm guessing due to being close to expiry

Highly doubtable these upset your stomach by being close to best before. The tolerances on those dates are enormous. 3 months post BB date would unlikely be an issue. The 50% sugar, 30% fat content on the other hand…. Plus known allergens - gluten, soy, wheat, nuts, milk and gruesome palm oil. Something there may have caused your grief. Hopefully it wasn’t a manufacturing issue.

I suspect eating both packets in one sitting might have caused the issue.

Haha true quite possibly eating two biscuits was too much indulgence

    •

I don't think they have an expiry date

    •

My local woolies scan them @ full price plus all expire on 25th Oct.

Think it was a glitch in the system, as the page loads for me it says 1/2 price, save $3 and is listed as $1 then quickly changes to full price ($4)…in WA

In NSW, am getting $2 for the hazelnut, $1 for the salted caramel and chocolate

    •

That’s what it was at my Woolworths yesterday too.

Freshly made… In the Netherlands. Where do you guys draw the line, I'm kinda feeling things like baked cookies should be made locally? Or are cookies so processed anyway who cares… Or maybe at these dirt cheap prices it is what it is.

What are they fully loaded with?

    • +2 votes

The hazelnut ones are fully loaded with disappointment.
I'm not surprised they haven't been sold and getting cleared off cheap.

Will look out for the salted caramel ones though

You might as well add a gym membership with the saving you're making with this. Sugar: 43.8g, Carb: 57.4g and Fat: 29.1g per 100g

    • +6 votes

Oh wow, sugar, carbs and fats in cookies. Who might have guessed.

    •

      Mmm sugar.

  •

The salted ones in the bakery are nice,. But Woolworths is a mixed bag, some Woolworths bakerys make dry bread, teeth breaking cookies, or some that taste nothing like in the discription.

Little tip, heat them in the oven for a short while.

$1, then full price ($4) as soon as you log in to try and checkout.

On the shelf at my local here in Qld earlier this week, the hazelnut ones only were clearance at $1.

    •

Yes I went in store yesterday in QLD and only the hazelnut ones were discounted. All the other types were $4.

  •

The ones in my local had a best before today. They tasted ok, were very dry, noticeably aged and nothing like the subway type cookies which these were thought to resemble. There are 8 biscuits in the pack.

$4 in Townsville. Except hazelnut which are $1.

  •

Definitely still $4 at my local in SA

  •

we have a rule you can't eat all of the fully loaded cookies

  •

Purchased both packs where $1 each at wolli creek nsw

  •

These were marked $1 on the shelf but scanned $2 at the checkout today.

Didn't bother disputing but still annoying.

Could just tell the cashier you don't want them? If the ticket is wrong they'll usually give you one free and the remainder at the ticket price.

  •

Bought a pack a couple of months back. They tasted terrible, all dry, barely any filling.

    I wouldn't even buy them for $1!

  •

All three were marked at $4 at Mowbray Tas. They didn't have the hazelnut one, but I double checked the others and they scanned at full price. Ah well.

  •

Wow salted caramel was sold out at Corrimal. Got the hazelnut one (didn't bother with raincheck as I usually don't like salted caramel as a flavour in other stuff).
Then took it straight to the gym across the road :p
