Do you get surcharges when paying with PayPal? Also, has to factor in the lost of insurance cover that comes with payments with some CC.

    If you've used PayPal as a payment medium, it shouldn't make a difference - no different than any other payment gateway as far as the CC is concerned.

    i think you are covered. i once called cba and they said I would be covered for purchases made via paypal with the gold card insurance but i really wonder. can anyone else confirm it?

Or if you're saving enough.. get some for $40 at Southern Cross Insurance. I never rely on the CC travel insurance as they generally aren't as comprehensive as other policies.
