  • Any reviews on these? I want to buy but not sure about the quality.

    • +2

These r all the crap ones or older models. No deal for me. Price is meh too. Actually cheaper on the soundpeats website.

      • You've used them all?

      • +1

Hi, dear friend, thanks for your support to all of our models. If all the orders you bought from us are not satisfied, you can contact us and we will help you to solve problems.
And also I have a question.
Since you are not satisfied with our products yet, why buy all our models? If really the quality issues, you can tell me all your orders from us here and then I will help you.

Secondly, we are all constantly putting on new models. For example, this trueair2 model has only been on the shelves for about a month. Why do you call it an old model? There are also truewings, trueshift2, truebuds, truengine SE and other models that have only been on the shelves for a few months.
It is impossible for a product to be removed in less than one year. Our headsets are researched, developed, and produced by a development team. The process is long and complicated. I hope you don't deny our efforts. SoundPEATS has been focusing on the field of headphones for many years, and we have been working hard.

    • I've only used the Truengine series, namely:
      * Truengine bought back in May 2019 - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07Q4TF3H6/ref=ppx_yo_d…
      * Truengine SE bought back in Jan 2020 - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0827JB47V/ref=ppx_yo_d…

Both have had solid build and nice audio quality for the price. The audio signature is quite dynamic, good amount of bass (but not overwhelming), and the in-ear design does seal the tunes in quite well.

My original Truengine earbuds were a master-slave configuration, where the phone connects to the right earbud, and then the right earbud connects to the left earbud. Therefore I couldn't switch to only using the left earbud. The newer Truengine SE was no longer limited to the master-slave configuration, and you can use the left or right independently whilst the other earbud is charging etc.

The mics for phone calls were a bit meh~

However, some of the newer models seem like the mics are a bigger focus and getting better. This YouTube channel does decent reviews with useful mic tests of such Soundpeats earphones - https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGameskyGaming

I'm currently keen to get the TrueAir2 as it seems like the mics are much better, but currently don't really have a need for it.

      • Hi, dear friend
Thanks for your support to our products, for the issue you met, have you contact us through your amazon order?
You can contact us first and our customer service will help you solve issues, please don't worry
And all our earbuds have 12 months warranty, please note

        • Hi @spcoker,
          Thanks for your message.
Please note, the original Truengine's technical capabilities back then did not allow you to use the earbuds independently. Hence, it is not an issue with the product or service from you guys.
As mentioned above, I'm glad to report the Truengine SE had the new function to allow you to use the earbuds independently.
In regards to the mediocre microphone quality on the Truengine and Truengine SE, I've seen a few reviews/tests and again it does not appear to be a product iddue, it was just the technical design/capabilities of the product back then.

Looking forward to your new earbud improvements, e.g. TrueAir2.

Side note, will you be supplying the new Soundpeats H1 soon? Currently on kickstarter - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/soundpeats/soundpeats-h…

          • @viewfinder: Thank you, dear friend
Trueair2 has improved a lot in the mic function. It has 2 mics in both ears, which adds up to a total of 4 mics. There is no pressure on the call. Please don't worry.
And for the H1, this product is still in the crowdfunding stage, it is estimated that it will take a few months to launch Amazon. Please note
Thanks again for your support and truest to our SoundPEATS, we will keep working hard in the field of headphones.

My Trueshift2 died in about 3 months of light use.

    • contact us through your amazon order, dear friend
And all our earbuds have 12 months warranty, please don't worry

      • I can't, because you took off that listing on Amazon!

        • Yes, I know, because that listing has some problems and was blocked by Amazon
But you can contact us with your order number through the below link
          https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/contact-us/ref=cu…
If you still don't know how to do that, please tell me again, sorry for all inconvenience we brought to you
          Thanks

          • @spcoker: Thanks OP, I can say at least Amazon's customer service was pleasant and they refunded me for the product. I did not know I could do it, so thanks for that. I can vouch for the quality of build, but its software is not up to par. Having received good service I'll definitely be willing to try other Soundpeats products in the future.

            • @BargainCowboy: Thank you for your support and truest
              Have a nice day

  • +1

Bought TrueAir 2 a couple weeks ago, pretty happy with it but I only use for listening to radio on walks and calls. The biggest pro is no one complained about issues with my voice on teleconference calls - which previously everyone complained about my sony wh1000-xm3 and Audio technica MX50BT sounded like underwater.

    • Since you can use the earbuds independently, does the microphone work when you just use the left/right earbud?

Also, when you do take calls with both earbuds, does it use the left earbud's mic or the right earbud's mic?

      • Good question. I have not tested out since I have been using both when on calls.

        • If you do get a chance to test them out, let me know how you go. Cheers mate.

        • FYI - I just received my own pair of TrueAir2 and tested the microphone situation with a few calls.

From my tests, I have noticed the following items:
          1. If you take a phone call with both earbuds on, the caller's audio will be coming through both earbuds, but whichever earbud was the first to connect to the phone's Bluetooth will be the earbud whose microphone will be used.
          2. Let's say the RIGHT earbud's microphone was being used for the call. If you put the RIGHT earbud back into the charge case, give it a moment to disconnect, and your call will continue through that LEFT earbud's microphone.
          3. If you then take the RIGHT earbud out again, the call will continue using the LEFT earbud's microphone.

Nice to know it transitions over to using the microphone on the other earbud.

      • Good question, dear friend
Please note that this trueair2 model built-in 2 microphones in each earbud and cVc 8.0 noise cancellation by Qualcomm optimize the call performance. So both earbuds can use independently to call, listen music and so on, please don't worry.
This is the biggest advantage of this trueair2

        • Thanks for your message. Ordered.

  • I've managed to lose my left earbud for the SoundPEATS Truebuds at the gym. Is there a way I can purchase another left one or do I simply need to purchase another set again?

    • +1

please contact us through your order number and then our after customer service will solve your issue, plese don't worry

      • Hi there, I have now contact via Amazon (AMR Direct)

          Thanks

          • @spcoker: Lost my Left TrueDots on the run… can I buy the left side only too? Thanks. Maybe make it in white or optional bright colour "skin"/case that can be put on.

            • @tinx: Please contact our after customer service through your order number and they wll help you, please don't worry

  • TWS quality and durability is questionable.
I can't comment on SoundPEATS, but my first pair of TWS i12 ($30) got sound distortion issues. The replacement pair only lasted 2 months with charging and Bluetooth connections issues.

    • Hi, dear friend
Thanks for your support to our product, but I really don't remember we sold this model before, maybe I am not in the company in that time.
you can send me your order number and then I will have a look for you, please don't worry

  • I've got the True Air 2 not long ago to replace my 1st gen Ticpods Free. I can say for voice calls I've used each earbud independently and they've both been able to handle calls and mic voice quite well. The overall sound quality for music/videos is quite good for the price (under $40) - it's not deep or heavy in bass end but mids to highs are quite pronounced. My only gripe is that I wish the ear tips themselves had some sort of texture or a silicone cover that would ease my mind and help seal in the sound. They haven't fallen out but I'm only using them whilst at a desk or walking to the station. My Ticpods were really great for most music genres (maybe the silicone tips helped seal in the sound), but the excessive dropouts and now battery issue were enough for me to get a replacement.
I chose the True Air 2 for the qualcom chipset as they have Aptx. Superlight weight and the case itself is quite small so it's easy to pocket.

    • How do you rate the voice call quality/clarity? Can the other party hear you well? Did you try it out in a noisy environment? Any feedback would be appreciated!

      • +1

Call quality was pretty clear and well received whilst I was on a train. Haven't tried it in noisier environments.

        https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UAJF4qejYf0

This reviewer simulates a test phone call in a busier background.

  • Personal experience only may be one offs…
I bought the true air 2, no matter how I try, can never get both ear buds working the same time. Some sort of pairing issue maybe.
While the singles worked, the sound is actually not bad for the price.
Doesn’t fit my ear neither, but that’s the risk you run when have these kind of design, not their problem per say.
    Retuned to Amazon.

  • Hi rep I bought the black TrueAir2 and I like it. Sound quality is nice and much better than my previous Soundpeats earpods.
Just wondering if you are also selling the white colour version of TrueAir2? i am interested to get a white one for my partner.

    • yes, will ship the white color soon
      Hope you can wait patiently
