Zen 3 CPU + RTX 3070 for $1999? Yeah, you do.. Our full, large allocations of Gigabyte and Galax cards have arrived already, as have much of our MSI allocation (which means existing orders are already shipping just 5 days from launch last week!)

Again coming in with a high spec, this deal is very similar to the Zen 2 deal starting at $1788 subbing in a Zen 3 CPU and a 240GB NVME for the 480GB SSD.

# AMD Ryzen 5000 Series | RTX 3070 8GB Gaming PC: $1999 after 5600X-3070-LAUNCH

  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X / Ryzen 7 5800X / Ryzen 9 5900X Processor. Note: the 5800X and 5900X now do not come with an AMD air cooler so a liquid cooler is required (no third party air coolers available at this time due to previous shipping damage issues)
  • Gigabyte Eagle RTX 3070 8GB (Galax and MSI also available)
  • Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite motherboard (upgrades available)
  • 16GB 3200MHz RAM (brand/model may vary)
  • 240GB NVME m.2 SSD (brand/model may vary)
  • Gigabyte P650B 650W 80+ Bronze power supply (Gigabyte P750G and Aorus AP850G upgrades available)
  • MSI MAG Forge (others available)

Next is the Zen 3 chips with an RTX 3080 10GB, offered on preorder. We have GPUs on order, so this is offered for you to reserve your purchase of an RTX 3080 powered PC (brand/model may vary as per our regular business model) as soon as stocks become available. This price increase is because in the Zen 2 launch there was a CPU rebate which has ended, plus 3080 card prices have all been jacked.

AMD Ryzen 5000 Series | RTX 3080 10GB Gaming PC: $2348 after 5600X-3080-LAUNCH

  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X / Ryzen 7 5800X / Ryzen 9 5900X Processor. Note: the 5800X and 5900X now do not come with an AMD air cooler so a liquid cooler is required (no third party air coolers available at this time due to previous shipping damage issues)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB (pre-order - brand/model may vary)
  • Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite motherboard (upgrades available)
  • 16GB 3200MHz RAM (brand/model may vary)
  • 240GB NVME m.2 SSD (brand/model may vary)
  • Gigabyte P750G 750W 80+ Gold power supply (Gigabyte Aorus AP850G upgrades available and required for Ryzen 9/3080 purchase)
  • MSI MAG Forge (others available)

Our first batch of Ryzen 5 5600X processors arrived today and the other models are inbound, which is obviously awesome. Existing customers who registered upgrade interest have all been emailed.

Updates on existing orders

RTX 3070 Orders
As above these systems will start shipping from today, just 5 business days after launch. This should provide some insight into how significantly NVIDIA's 3080 delays have affected the industry!

RTX 3080 Orders
A big number of MSI Ventus, Gigabyte Eagle and Gigabyte Gaming orders will be shipping early next week, while we have received dispatch notification from Galax so they should also be next week. We've prebuilt orders to minimise the time between card arrival and dispatch.

While this will account for a very good chunk of orders, based on information from manufacturers and their suppliers, we are officially in delay territory for the remainder and likely to beyond our general 14 business day estimate assuming the cards arrived worst case 31 October as an October card could have. Other Eagle and Ventus orders are most likely going to be shipping from halfway through November onwards. This is also the case for November card orders across all brands. This is 100% down to NVIDIA's reference card manufacturing delays and their knock on effects which they have admitted to. We originally labelled our cards with months (e.g. September, October, November) based on advice from MSI/Giga/Galax and their suppliers when we placed our orders back in September, and we are pushing and pushing, but we and most other retailers are still waiting.

As a result, if you want to cancel your order, you may do so without any restocking fee, via email to [email protected].

This is obviously disappointing, but my honest recommendation would be to hang in there, if you can. If you want a 3080, you may very well be leaving a position in our queue to join the end of another. 3080 prices have also been jacked due to no supply, so you've locked the absolute lowest possible pricing. And your cards will be coming, and your system will be prebuilt to minimise delay.

If you want a status update to see if your order is close to dispatch, please email [email protected] and we'll reply as soon as we can.

If you're livid about the whole 3080 thing, please submit your thoughts to [email protected] (freely visible on reddit btw).

  • Hi Luke,

I'm a little late to the party but was looking at the 3080 system page, the webpage says the 5600X is unavailable and the only option was the 5800X (plus mandatory AIO upgrade) which pushed the system out of my budget.

Is the 5600X expected to be restocked anytime soon?

    Thanks for your time!

Hi, we'll add it back in when we know more about available stock. Zen 3 is very short.

Soooo….any news on the Gigabyte 3080s? Still waiting on a order with the Ryzen 7 Gen 2 from 28th of October….

    • +2

It's looking like the majority of 3080 orders will be dispatching this week, with the balance next. Large batch of Ventus 3080s going out today and tomorrow, with Gigas being work on too. Hang in there everyone.

      • Thanks for the reply Luke, just really keen to get the new beast and run it up. Will be waiting :)

      • thanks for the update! I just haven't heard back on my order in the past 2 weeks as I've got 2 existing orders and would like to cancel the all AMD pc (5900x,, 6800xt). are you able to help follow up?

        • If you've made a request via email myself and the team will respond as soon as we can there - double handling via OzB/Email can cause confusion this time of year.

          • @luketechfast: Luke i will take the 6800XT if he cancelled his.
My order should have notes on it per our previous correspondance (TF117822631)

      • Hey Luke. Thanks for the update. Is that all 3080 pre orders likely to go out in the next couple of weeks or just older ones? I ordered a 5800X/3080 on Nov 19th. Not expecting it to be ready before 2021, but would be nice :)

        • Yep I need to clarify this - my statement above applies to all "month GPUs" - October and November. Pre-order Cards we are still awaiting information. We are certainly planning for shipping this year in terms holding all of the other components for the systems, we just need the GPUs. Hoping to have more info in the next week or two.

  • Hi Luke, I know component packaging isn't normally included, but would it be possible to do something like include just the GPU packaging if the box the whole PC is shipped out in could fit it?

    • We're not setup to manage packaging, particularly through this period sorry. It's not a request we can say yes to and guarantee it will happen.

  • Anyone got their shipping confirmation yet for 3070 system with zen3? Ordered on 8 Nov.

  • Hey Luke, will these 3080 systems all be eagles, or a mix of different cards?

    • 3070 Eagle, Ventus and Galax OC were offered at different stages, so customers will get what they selected at the time.

Any updates on 3080 systems which were ordered in November?

    • +3

I reached out to TechFast via email and heard back from them yesterday. Note this was in relation to my 3080 system ordered on 7/11. A little disappointing but understandable considering the extreme demand on the 3080 world-wide.

Thanks for contacting us regarding your order.

At this current time we unfortunately don't have any updates about the [Preorder] allocations of RTX 3080s as they are on preorder from our suppliers. As your order contains this allocation of GPU it will be the last component to arrive before we can dispatch your order. We are hoping that we are able to ship all of our orders by the end of the year, but this is dependent on when the [Preorder] RTX 3080s arrive and at this time we don't have a solid ETA for them.

At this stage it's almost guaranteed that the system will arrive after Christmas unfortunately, we apologise if this causes you any inconvenience.

I know this isn't much of a useful update however this is all the information that we have at the moment regarding builds with the [Preorder] 3080s. We are hoping to get more information on these cards in the near future and we appreciate your patience regarding the situation, thank you.

We have now received enough cards to fulfill all November GPU orders of all varieties, all December GPUs, and more are confirmed in transit/ inbound to make excellent headway (majority) into our-Pre-Order cards!! Supply has, finally, come through.

      • That's great news! I'm keen as! Thank you so much.

  • What are the different order statuses for Techfast?

Do they just have unfulfilled and fulfilled or are there other steps in between?

    • +2

the order status is whatever they want to tell us…
unfortunately this differs from reality or what we are all wanting to hear…..
this business model is soooo flawed its like a hand grenade with pin pulled and were all holding that trigger tightly….

      • It’s doing quite well…they must be doing something right

  • Hey Luke,

I made an order for a 3080 system in november, contacted support previously and they said they're waiting on GPUs to arrive. do you think those will be shipped before xmas? really hoping to play some games over the xmas break.

    • It would depend where you are in the queue but we have now received a large number of the GPUs required for 3080 [Pre-Order] cards so we will be moving onto them in the coming week up to and post Christmas, and all other "month" cards are now in final assembly.
