    Is it worth waiting for perhaps at EB games PS4 pro trade in, or is it better to sell the PS4 pro privately and just wait till the store actually has stock?

    I'm not in a rush, but ID like to get the most for the PS4 pro as possible.

    Reading these comments, it sounds like the Xbox is a better deal and I've only owned a Sony since earlier this year so I'm not attached to Sony yet.

    I ended up buying an Xbox One X off Facebook market, driving to another person's house and swapping it for a PS4 pro and it cost me $330 for the Xbox to begin it lol

      Selling privately will always net you more than trading in but at more hassle and headache. Your call.

      PS5 has far more revolutionary controller and exclusive game titles from launch onwards. See what interests you.

        I haven't been keeping up but is it still in the air what ps4 games are backward compatible on the ps5? I have a heap i have stockpiled but haven't played… no point selling the ps4 (non pro, original release date lol back in 2013) otherwise, and might as well play out the games if they aren't compatible. Then buy the ps5 hopefully on special later down the road.

          Nope, pretty much all PS4 games will work on it and most are much enhanced and boosted with higher framerates.

      I think the EB trade in value for a PS4 Pro is $50 less than Xbox One X so it's better to sell the PS4 Pro privately. BTW, I think you can actually trade in a Xbox One X for the PS5 and you get $350 on level 1. Also, the bonus trade in is only valid until the end of Jan 2021.

      I just traded in my Pro for cash at EB($300 - level 3). Tried selling privately but honestly my time is worth a lot more than dealing with idiots with their drama and lowball offers.

      They changed their policies around gift card for preorders. Where they allowed you to make a pre-order but would send you a website to change your payment method. Then they will refund your credit card if you decided to change to gift card.

    I called my local target and they said they will have stock in store but behind the counter not on shelves. Not going to be a lot of stock sounds like. Gonna try to grab one when they open.

      Xbox is still good for those without an equivalent expensive PC. Upgrading my pc to be on par or better is gonna cost me $1800 roughly. $1200 if I aim for something subpar, this includes rebuilding myself. PC is great if you’ve got all the money you need in the beginning. You do save money later on but upfront you spend more than any game console.

      Even though i have a rediculously expensive custom pc xbox series x will be far better for online gaming due to me never finding any people to play online in asia servers compared to both consoles at a lot of the times.

    From someone who ordered a PS5 from Target - avoid ordering from them. No communication, no answers from anyone instore, over phone or online. They don't have a clue if they can fulfil confirmed click & collect prepaid orders this Thursday, or when their stock will arrive. Meanwhile, Big W have already started to ship their stock…

      As an ex EB employee my advice is to constantly check with the store if there are units available. I guarantee you people will fail to pick up their orders, and eventually the store will sell that unit.

      Source: bought a bunch of launch PS4s that customers never picked up

      Yeah I honestly can't be f'd lining up or trying like crazy to snag one online. I wanna just walk in to a retailer and buy a console. Maybe even bundled with a game. If I have to wait a few more months to do that then so be it. My PC is fine for the moment.

    I have my preorder placed with Harvey. Just contact them about it since I didn’t receive any information yet except for an automated email stating it’ll be with me on the 12th.
    But now Harvey chat guy is telling me and I quote “Please allow 2-10 business days for the order to arrive at your address. This will just be standard shipping timeframe for all PS5 pre orders.” Has someone else contacted Harvey and received any positive info?
