      Just an update, got a call from JB Hi-Fi (VIC) today as they had a pre-order cancellation and was able to pick-up in an hour. Started 11th on the EOI list on 26/11. Goodluck everyone!

    On a funny note…scanning gumtree and just found an add for Cash city, said they were looking to buy PS5s. I had a spare minute so out of curiosity called to see what they would offer for a brand new PS5 and was told the best they could do was $400 as they had to try and resell them lol…wow

      So just got off the phone with Goodguys, apparently payment links have already been sent out to those who were able to secure the latest offering, next shipment expected 2021.
      I would take this with a grain of salt as everyone has completely different etas

              @Chukka01: I think that would be due to the small allotment they've been given, so if you expect say 100 consoles per 3 locations they named, they vast majority wont be on WP. 5 people ish said they got one so that probably checks out

      i know a manager at target, they have stock. they have it in store….. but they're not selling it….

      my guess is it's going to friends/family of higher up people in the company

                @Chukka01: Just called the main target here in perth, they said that the last preorder went live 2 weeks ago and everyone that was able to order already came in and picked up their unit. No new preorders scheduled till Feb 21…

    Tried a number of JB HiFi stores from outer east Melbourne through to East Gippsland.

    All the same message - no in store reserve and wait list. Obviously no "uncollected" orders.

    I think the most frustrating thing at the moment is not just being able to put money down somewhere to be on a wait list to get it whenever it might show up.

    Amazon just charged my account too.
    Disc version ordered Nov 12 9:06am, changed shipping to priority shortly after, changed back to expedited 09:36.

    I am a little concerned though as I have it shipping to a parcel locker, and I had a different Amazon delivery this morning, not shipped by Aus post.
    So, will see what happens.

    I'm hearing issues with coil whine and updates/games bricking ps5's (just google it or check YouTube) so was just curious if any one here had any issues to speak of or everything is good?

      I've seen people report a lot on facebook, but none of them seem super serious. I think that they will all be able to be patched out.

      The only one that is a little concerning is that people are reporting that the ps5 cannot read a disc. Then they take it out and put it back in and its fine.

      That could be either software or hardware
