      Mine also got charged!!! (est delivery was Dec 17, priority shipping).

      It got charged about 1 minute after I jumped on live chat to ask about my order. They just said it was in the "advanced stages of shipping"

            @codewana: I didn't have prime (standard shipping) and my card got charged today. I did contact amazon's special ps5 team about it and they sent a note to the fulfilment centre to prioritise it, maybe thats why

                    @MonkeyFace: I didn’t specifically ask. I contacted them about other people receiving theirs earlier with later delivery dates and they apologised and sent the message to their ps5 teams. Also gave me $30 vouchers in compensation

    I called JB plenty valley to check on my xbox series x order cos I heard that their December 7 shipments were coming in today

    He told me that they have Series S in stock at the moment from cancelled first wave orders.

    So if anyone is interested in Series S, maybe give them a call

    I would recommend keep trying live chat, don't ever ring up, the philapinno call centre don't know a thing but the Indian live chat are tops!

        If you want to make money from then. Call them up and demand a manager, they will give you a refund on the cost price. I got 15% off my ps5 and series x by calling up

            @MonkeyFace: Mine was launch day stock delivery and they missed it by one day but had roped an employee into guaranteeing a delivery date back in october. But in your cases I would just be stating that people after you have had their orders shipped, but you haven't and after a bit of backwards and forwarding bring up compensation and they will make an offer. Could range from 50 bucks to 15% the cost price, It was the case for my PS5 this way, but have had to do it for a majority of the games I ordered with them over the past 6 months where others have had it shipped and recieved way before me. Its worked everytime for me cause amazon pride themselves on a first in first out basis.

              @Thunder-Wombat: So it was expected delivery on launch day but they delivered it one day late? Also I suggest not contacting for these refunds too much as they do leave marks on your account and Amazon will investigate/ban accounts if too many refunds have been done

        Really? Live chat told me mine was about to be shipped just waiting for the courier to pick it up.

        Call centre didn't know what was going on and just repeated a script and quoted the delivery eta over and over

      so apparently i havent been charged, just had an authorisation put on my account, that's why i can still cancel..

      if you have been charged they have shipped it, you just need to wait for the confirmation to come through.

            @skido: I know Amazon said that to us in email, but I haven't seen a case of it happening yet. I changed my payment method weeks after order from MC to Zip and mine shipped out today, much, much earlier than I was ETA'd (which never changed).

            If this guy had his Zip charged today, his is about to ship. That's just how Amazon works. They only charge the day they're due to ship it to the customer.

                  @Chukka01: FYI I finally cracked it with Amazon and went on live chat…I'd given them benefit of the doubt to this point but I think I'm the only person in Australia who had estimated delivery date 17-24th November and hadn't received their console yet. It's pretty frustrating to see people with est delivery late December having no issue. Anyway this is their response which is concerning:

                  "I've checked the order details and see that this item went out of stock before we could ship it. Please know that we work very hard to maintain our inventories, but occasionally an item listed on our site won't be available when it is time to ship your order.
                  I request you to wait for this order to get in stock as it's not going to progress and it's stuck in the list of old batch of items that's no longer available. There is no exact time or update available as of when the item will be available for ordering.

                  To be frank, the whole batch of products is out of stock, but when it gets in stock you will be notified and will be shipped to you first, rather than people who order then. I don't want to give you any false promises, saying it is stocked and will deliver once the carrier gets assigned like other tell."

                  Noting I also had a purchase Authorisation put on my charge on Friday. Not really sure what to do from here as waiting seems like it won't help me.

                    @deanso686: Yeah, they keep saying stuff like that to me to… they keep saying: "we will let you know when it will be delivered once we receive the stock"

                    i think that's just because of the language barrier, I don't think they understand what they are saying.

                    my advice is to call them and ask for someone in their executive customer relations team to give you a call back. They are apparently they highest level within Amazon

    So couple of hours back I got email from Amazon that my Ps5 has been shipped and delivery data changed from 17th Dec to 9 Dec. Ordered on 12th.

    Just got email from Auspost that the PS5 is in Brisbane and delivery to Melbourne is between 4th Dec to 9th Dec.
