Vodafone and PlayStation have announced that you’ll be able to get a PS5 on a 12, 24, or 36 month plan through Vodafone starting tomorrow. Both PS5 units (digital and disc edition) will be available as well as the DualSense controller and the Media Remote.

You will pay no interest on top of your console repayment, but you will need at least two Vodafone services in order to add a PS5 to your account (mobile/tablet/nbn).

Services include $30 and above postpaid mobile, tablet, and all nbn services that are eligible for the Bundle and Save discount

These will be available to order tomorrow through calling 1300 728 637 and ready for pickup in stores by December 15th.

Customers are limited to purchasing one PS5 and two DualSense controllers in any transaction.

HERE’S A ROUGH ESTIMATE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE PAYING MONTHLY:

PS5 12 Months – $62 per month
PS5 24 Months – $31 per month
PS5 36 months – $21 per month

        Why would you save 20%. Bundle and save only applies to services, not device repayments.

    I didnt ask. I dont believe devices or handset are part of the bundle discount. Only the services are discounted if you look at your bill and deduct the handset amount from your service amount you will see the discount is a percentage of your total services you got with Vodafone.

        there is a higher chance of pre-orders being cancel from retailers than payment plan orders from Telcos. So we should be safe in that regards.

          Also I guess if they have entered into an "official" partnership with Sony there is a greater chance they will get the stock.

    what happens if u sign up for an extra service then cancel the second one, would you still be eligible to keep repaying the PS5 over 12 months?

      you will have to pay out remaining balance on your console in your next bill, but hey at least you get a PS5 before Christmas. Some ppl cant even get a pre-order in.

    Question, after making the order, did you guys get some sort of e-mail confirmation?
    Vodafone says it'll come through via e-mail (order made yesterday) but nothing yet.
    They also weren't able to provide an order number. Worried they'll over-commit somehow.

      I also just ordered a disc version, delivery around 14 Dec, and received proof of purchase and tracking number.

          Yeah called the 1555 Voda number and was in a queue for a while, then after getting onto someone they put me through to someone else for the PS5 order (another 20mins on hold).

          They checked eligibility, tried to upsell other plans, asked which console/accessories I wanted, over how long etc. Then they txt t&c's and ask you to accept them over the phone.

          Nothing about a call back sorry - maybe you called when they were particularly busy? Hope you get through, keep trying!

    So, we put in an order on Sat. Guy said it's confirmed etc, and to wait for the email. Never got the email.

    Waited two days, tried calling again last night and then this morning…

    He never put the order through.

    Also same ETA - 15 Dec but honestly, I have no idea how they're going to fulfil so many orders and have a strong hunch they've over committed.

    just ordered the disc version. forgot to ask if they know for sure if they have enough in stock for delivery on the 15th. i did ask if we can pick it up in store but they said they can only deliver it to our home address. it makes me think they wont have enough stock.

      its through StarTrack for those wondering. and yea make sure you get a proof of purchase through your email. mine came an hour after ordering.

    Ordered my disk model on 13/11 for shipment on 14/12. Just checked the tracking and it's changed this morning from 'Waiting for stock' to 'Your order is being prepared for delivery'

          Mine was shipped yesterday and says the ETA is today. Though it hasn't been scanned today, only scan was at Sydney facility around 10:30pm last night.

    Mine arrived yesterday 10 am, no text no email. Delivery guy just called to unit intercom and luckily I was home and not playing games or I would have missed it
