Amazing, thank you. Just purchased the 65” for $1990 with 3% off code PLUS3.

      • …the last 65"….

        Alll gone - for now.

  • Q60T 75" deal is already live via The Good Guys eBay if you don't want to wait for this.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/583811

  • Great price. Bought Q80T 85" couple of weeks before. Time for some cashback.

    • +1

Same here! Just rang good guys and they said they will give money back if difference but they need to see it advertised!!

  • Free Delivery for Q80T 75" and Q60T 75"

    • How did you figure this? On the JBHIFI website now it's stating $59 delivery for a Q60T 75"…

      • +1

It says it in the catalogue, free delivery on all 75” TV’s. The website won’t reflect this until the sale starts (tonight).

  • rather than me worrying about whether i should spend an extra $1k on the Q80T over the Q60T, I think the better question is: will i have any regrets if I upgrade my 10yo Samsung 46" LED TV to a 75" Q60T? Is it all possible I will find myself watching footy or supercars or netflix on the Q60T and thinking "wish I still had the old 46-er"??

    • Haha no. I'm only willing to pay the extra for the q80t as it has better gaming features for new consoles.wouodbt otherwise.

    • The biggest downsides of the 60T seem to be brightness and reflection. Might depend on your room.

  • Would buying the JB Hifi gift cards from Shopback with a 3% discount and then purchasing tv online from jb hifi store be the best price? How would you purchase to save $$?

    • +1

You might want to check the limit of card that's can be used for a single transaction before doing that

      • +1

In-store at JB confirmed it's unlimited.

Online, not sure. I recently used 30 gift cards in a single transaction online and it was fine.

    • +2

No, you're better buying them at a 15% discount from Coles - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/582451
May need to go to multiple stores if they enforce the 5 per customer limit though.

I would also find a way to get the JB store to secure the TV for you before you buy the cards. Wouldn't want to be stuck with $3k worth of gift cards and no TV to buy. I would imagine they're going to sell like crazy.

      • my local said, if they don't have stock and cannot get from another store they will just get it from the supplier. as long as you paid during the sale you will be right.

      • I've been checking stock for the ones in store. There's basically none in store in the Sydney area - is it a good idea to even bother getting the vouchers?

The Q80s are basically gone. The LG OLEDs aren't even in stock in Sydney either.

  • +5

Looking at these prices it's getting even harder to justify my goal of a LG OLED purchase.

    • Agreed. The cx looks amazing but for 77" you are looking at ~$3k more. Still trying to decide between the 80T or the 900H.

      • +1

I was set on the Sony but couldn't pick between the 900h and the 950h. But with this price im going the q80t now haha.

  • +2

75" Q80T purchased! Used 2 * $500 gift cards from the Telstra deal, so pretty happy with the price given that the Telstra deal works out to be the same price we were paying for our mobile bill anyway.

  • +2

Deal is now live! For those wondering, I used 6 gift cards online with no issues, looks like there is no limit.
    Free delivery is also included!
    Happy early Black Friday!

    • Subtotal $4,488.00
      Shipping Free
Total paid AUD $4488.00 Includes $408.00 GST

    • +2

looks like there is a limit mate. tried using 8 gift cards and it did not go through until i was down to 6 gift cards used. In any case, happy days - got the Q80T 75" :)

  • +10000

Bought one as a spare TV

Thanks so much op! Just ordered mine.

  • how to get around delivery not available for your address? i live in a semi rural area

  • +1

    Got a Q80T 75 inch thanks OP

Upgrading my my $450 - JVL (yep JVL not JVC it isnt a typo)

Actually pretty excited to have this i went to JB yesterday to sus it out b4 i brought - the picture quality is like a 100% upgrade on what i currently got

  • Heads up, tried using Chrome browser which caused a loop when trying to proceed from cart to payment page to go back to the cart again.
Edge browser seemed to work ok, but in my panic I accidentally hit click and collect instead of delivery.
Anyway 75 inch 80T purchased, thanks OP!

    • Good luck trying to fit it in a car!! Great deal either way.

  • In store only purchase on the q80t now

  • Any deals on 80" + TV? I am greedy :P

  • Damn, I missed out on the Q80T 75"

I hope it’s available again for a similar price.

    • Plenty of others selling it for that price, or head instore.

FYI Appliance Central has 85" in stock and matched the JB Hifi price: https://www.appliancecentral.com.au/tv-audio/televisions/qle…

  • Just got a call from JB, delivery is set to be December 2nd. Not happy that its taking a week.

    • Whereabouts are you located?

      • Sydney for me.

        • Yeah, I'm Melbourne, still waiting for a call. Looks like they sold more than they had.

          • @Mel1764: Dont count on it.
I bought a 75in last year too during same time. The VIC warehouse had thousands of them. They just get you to come in-store for the big deals to try and get you to spend more money. nothing to do with store-stock levels.
trying to get you away from online sales and in the shop walking past displays.

        • Yeah just got a call from jb, same thing for me

          • @Mel1764: Same here, wife just bought with %5 off gift cards for 2747. Dec 2nd delivery. Frankston.

        • Melbourne, Delivery on 3rd

    • One week is not bad at all. Considering the amount of sales that's excellent. Before sales the wait is still 3 days

      • Yeah true. I guess the excitment is just making me impatient. I just need to remember I did save quite a bit with the 75" Q80T, but the other half wants to try out the TV ASAP.

  • no stock in any jb hifi in sa

    • Got one, thanks

    • Powerland are delivering mine tomorrow. I would jump on the remaining stock if you're still looking.

      • Congrats. Let us know what your thoughts are with the TV. Looks like JB are too big for their own good to provide quick delivery with sale items.

  • Are JB Hifi taking orders "in store"? Are they accepting deposits or full payment only?

  • I can get the Q80T 75 for 2743 with my company rewards program. Good deal? I dont own a PS5 or anything.

  • none available in WA

  • Jb hifi said that Samsung told them no further stock for this tv coming .

    • Which model?

      • 75 q80t

  • Q80T 75 unavailable everywhere, OOS.

    • true , it wont be available forever

      • Available @ HN almost everywhere, but pick up only.

        • they did free delivery for me , just had to ask them but appearently no more stock will come forever

  • Managed to get one of the last 75Q80Ts around my area tonight.. but none at warehouse so free delivery would've meant shipping back to warehouse to on-ship back to me.. 3-4 day wait. Now to figure out how to get this thing home…

    • Oh I didn't know JB don't deliver direct from the shop? Glad I purchased the TV online then. Was thinking I should have purchased in store instead to get it faster.

Edit: to get it home you could hire a ute or van from Bunnings for a couple of hours. Just need to strap it down so it doesn't get damaged.

      • Well that's what my sales guy said to me.. free shipping is drop ship from warehouse.

A mate just came to the rescue with a box trailer.. all sorted. I was contemplating paying for local delivery from store.. usually it's just $50 or so.

  • Did anyone tried using multiple HIm/Her Coles Gift cards at JB Hi-FI in one transaction worth more than $500? I have around $1000 worth of Him cards thinking to use all in one transaction, is that possible?

    Thanks

    • If they work at JB, of course its possible.
I just used 2,888 dollars worth of gift cards on my Q80.

      • Were those Jb gift cards or Him/Her/Teen?

        Thank you

        • I used 40+ Ultimate cards in one trxn after explanation that they are under the different T&Cs. Also matched HN at $2880, saving $8 further.

          • @Neoika: Can those be used online also ?

            • @Sunny10: No, I think JB may not take order in SYD any more. Mine is already presale item.

              • @Neoika: ok.. but can i say the same like they have different T&C?

        • Mine were JB cards. I buy them through my company for cheap. And I can only redeem 8 I think (max 1000 each). But thats not the point. Are your Him/her/shim cards redeemable at JB??? should be pretty obvious.

    • Just get home from JB and used 20+ Him/Her card without any issue. Heard that some store may limit to $500 but luckily not my local one. worth a try, if not allowed just try another store, it totally depends on the staff at the counter.

      • what did you bought?

  • Is an extra $1000 worth the jump between the Q60T and the Q80T?

    • Q60 don't bother..might as well go other brands

      • such as? I am such a novice at TV's but i got a ps5 and want a good telly to use for it

  • Samsung Q60T 75" QLED Ultra HD 4K Smart TV [2020] : Pretty good reviews 4.9 (1531 reviews)

    • Have u bought one?

      • yup, bought one from Good guys

        • Great? has it got delivered to you? Mine is saying by 22nd Dec as i bought from Jb Hi-Fi. If u have received it, and already using it could u pls check pic quality? which state are u in?
          Thanks

          • @Sunny10: Mine is not yet delivered. They will do the same by 8th Dec, is what i have been told. I am in VIC.

          • @Sunny10: But why u decided to went with Q60T and not Q80T?

  • buy now or wait for boxing day sales?

  • No Dolby vision in this. What am I missing out on?

We have an Apple TV 4K and are active watchers of Netflix, Disney plus and our Sony 4K UHD player.

  • Bing Lee has this for $2888 also

  • OUT OF STOCK… anyone know if there is going to be more in stock?

  • I rang JB and they advised they are not taking anymore orders for 75" inch and above TV due to stock sold out and Christmas is approaching and longer wait.
But i know we can still get Stock around the same price on Samsung website. Special atm for $3100

  • Yeah, 75"Q80T is out of stock almost everywhere.. JB, TGG etc. Even Q60T is out of stock mostly. Next best option per sales team is Hisense Q8 that's still available in limited stocks.
The picture quality in stores with the demo video On and the specs sheet looks impressive with full array local dimming and 200hz refresh rate, I am more concerned about the VIDAA OS though. I know its no Android or as cream as the Sony's or Samsung's and limited app availability and that's a let down. But on the brighter side, I do have a fire stick and Chromecast though and will be using them with TV mostly to watch movies, Netflix or play light gaming on Xbox one S.
I have a 55 HISENSE from 3 years back in my Living and considering to upgrade now to a 75". Room is bright lit with sliding windows to my backyard to the TVs side. I am seated about 4" from TV Wall, and considering to have the TV Wall mounted with full rotation brackets.
I wanna ask the OZB folks if they would recommend Hisense 75" Q8 to be worthy at price of 2495 and would go for it? Or would you recommend waiting until next sale @Boxing day for other options?

  • Has anyone received there text message from jbhifi/courier regarding delivery on the 2nd? I haven't gotten any updates yet.

    • I got mine this morning at 12:39am. Can't wait to get my hands on my 75" Q80T been looking forward to it for the past week.

      • yeah ended up getting my text at 10pm and then tv arrived at 10am. it looks absolutely amazing.
