Ecovacs DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI $999 @ JB Hi-Fi

Part of Wednesday deals at JB. This is the cheapest I have ever seen this model as I believe it has never been discounted.

Combine this with the 15% off Gift Cards through Coles on Wednesday and you can get both the T8 AIVI with the Ecovacs OZMO-Auto Empty Station for $1190 maybe even cheaper if JB discount the Auto Empty Station.

  • Is it worth getting the t8 compare to 920/950? Other than the camera sensor thing.

  • 🤬I bought my T8 just a month ago.
I doesn't want the sensor thing but I want the T8 AIVI mopping system

  • 15% off gift cards through Coles on Wednesday? Got a link?

What's the general thoughts on this one? I've been scouting a robot vac for a while now but am lost in all the choices these days

    • I had a top of the range samsung like 6 years ago, spent more time being fixed than in our house cleaning. We then got a irobot roomba, and dont have an issue with it like the Samsung. So I like it and would recommend it. The in laws have this new T8 model thats going to be on sale, they have had it for like 2 weeks, so they missed out on this deal, but they love it for the 2 weeks they have had it.

Sorry forgot to add, our roomba only vacuums, where as I believe this is capable of mopping and vacuuming

I got the Debot710 over a year ago. Love it.
I cant imagine the is twice as good.

Awesome im sold on it. I've been sussing this, the Neato D7 and the Roborock S6 but hard to go past this price

    • Well, the Neato D7 is $795 at Amazon AU at the moment (https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B078MPFN55). A good time to consider that one too. However, I've just returned a D6 for faulty navigation. Returned a previous Botvac for the same reason. Two faulty Neatos in a row & I'm done with that brand.

Honestly the auto empty station going on sale too has pretty much sealed the deal for me! If I can get my hands on the gift cards from Coles all up its ~$1000 for an auto emptying bot

Too right. Just bought the combo. You'd better get in quick. While I was buying, I noted that pick up in store was available, then by the time I checked out, no longer available at any stores near me. Delivery only, unless I wanted to go for a drive into the (Sydney) city. We bought it on gift cards cashed in a few days before Virgin frequent flyer miles went kaput earlier this year. Saw the writing on the wall for the airline & cashed in quickly!

Be aware they are now saying that you can only use $500 in cards per transaction. So maybe do the bot and empty station in seperate transaction to maximise your savings if the limit is enforced in store.

@Spizz: Yeah just read the same thing. Going to do 2 transactions but also see if I can convert the Him GC to online JB voucher. Even if it's capped at $500 Shopback has 3% off JB vouchers so I'll stack the balance of the Vac with 3% vouchers

            • @Josephluppino: Hi, where did you see this info?

              • +1

@boon_inc: It's now a massive read but all here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/582451

Looks like the terms and conditions for the gift card deal have changed, likely after the insane popularity of it.

                • +1

@Josephluppino: I guess it’s up to each individual store/cashier if they enforce it.

                  • @Spizz: That's different, right? That's using the "The Him/Her/Teen/Kids Card" & converting that to JB Hifi gift cards? Once you have the JB Hifi gift cards, then you can use them all in one purchase transaction. I had $900 of JB Hifi gift cards from another source & used them for this purchase (topping up with credit card).

    Ahhh dammit.
Guess I will be going to Coles followed by JB tomorrow.

  • I"m confused between this or the roborock now
