½ Price McCain Frozen Onion Rings $2.00 @ Coles

Best to buy them when you go in to buy your 15% off JB HI FI gift cards. They are delicious in the air fryer and taste like the old Hungry Jacks onion rings

taste like the old Hungry Jacks onion rings

    Sold.

Whoever thought the new HJ's onion rings was a good idea needs to be sacked!

    • I've found the new ones to resemble "onion" rings more than the previous – they're juicier and whole vs powdery and dry

I think it depends what you are looking for. I think I too preferred the old version “onion flavoured rings” instead of the new ones which are actually legit onions cut in rings to make onion rings.

        • Fair!

Birdseye Onion Rings are one of the better ones.

As much I as like Aldi, their onion rings are… shmushy smush.

This Mccain version is somewhat in between the Birdseye and the Aldi.

The best supermarket onion rings are found in Foodland.

Can't remember the name now, but it's in black packaging.
(Will update the name if I drop by Foodland soon)

      Update:

The brand is Mc.Cuisine Onion Rings, and they should be Australian. I didn't check.

Full price 500gm for $4.39 currently.

    Made in Netherlands

You would think they would not have to ship them half way around the world.

    It's just onion and batter.
