Just reminded me I need to return mine - doesn't work.

For me it was pretty difficult to setup, but eventually I figured how it works. I have to always open Alexa App and Spotify before I get in to my car. Of course bluetooth is on. I have to yell during driving to tell Alexa to do something. They need to improve their mic

I seemed to have to go through setup each time I used the car.

I had the same issue in the first few trials. I thought I had problem with the phone, but after I changed phone, the issue still persists. But keep trying to figure out, it works though painful process to open 2 apps everytime

You have to wonder what happens to all the stuff that gets sent back under Prime.

Thanks OP, I use this daily in my car so grabbed a second one for my wifes car.

Genuine question, how is this different than using Google Assistant on your phone? Do you need another device? Thanks.

Or Alexa on your phone. It’s just got lots of microphones so supposedly hears you better over car noise. Mixed reviews on that though.

I have one of these and recommend it. The voice recognition is better than a phone and works at freeway speeds but I have not found it to be outstanding as some comments say. But there is a button to activate Alexa if you prefer.

I have an Amazon Music subscription and that works seamlessly. I just leave my phone in my pocket when getting in the car (voice commands would be useless there). Bluetooth is always on so it automatically connects to the car and Alexa is ready a few seconds after I switch on the ignition. If I didn't have car bluetooth and had to connect it manually each time I would probably rarely use it.

My one gripe is with the Alexa app on the phone. It stays on the lock screen. There should be an option to close it.

Is this better than a taotronics BR04 for enabling a bluetooth connection to a car that only has an AUX port?
