  • how do I manage my zip account which I applied through my amazon account?

  • is signing up and using the zip payment free?

  • Just to confirm, the pending balance only needs to show in Zip during the offer period? I know some products can take up to 5 business days to ship when the charge actually goes through.

  • Might be able to stack with this offer if you are a new Zip Customer - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/585348

  • Can anyone confirm if gift cards still work?

    Can i use gift cards or are they only for amazon stuff only, i get 3% any day.
    Dont have zip pay so will this offer work with non amazon items i mean not sold and sent from amazon?
    But it is on amazon for sale.

    Just trying to reduce or get best price on the item and did someone say you get credit check for zip pay?
    Is this zip pay new customer or anyone

  • Item im after $246.99 and $43.56 shipping.

    Its on amazon but not sold by amazon, i see there is a deal with gift cards $5 for each $100 you spend but aint that just amazon sold items this is a seller on amazon.

    its the end of the month and i am not a first-time user of zip. can someone figure out what i should do to avoid any monthly fee.

    last month's closing balance is $0.

    as for now, $50.37 Used and $388.84 Pending. how much should i make in additional payment by the end of today?

    • My statement runs from 10th to 9th of each month.

    • I am a first-time user and it said you need to pay minimum and pay on time.
      ZipPay, AfterPay are just like Credit Card, if you don't make the payments before the fees knock your door, you start getting screwed.

    • I was checking its fee section and here is the catch:

      Pay no fees
      Pay your Statement Closing Balance by your Due Date and pay no fees; OR
      Pay at your own pace
      Set your own flexible payment schedule and pay back as little as $40/month. A $6.00 account fee will simply be added to your balance for any month your Statement Closing Balance has not been paid down to $0.

      So if you don't pay the full amount before the date it shows below this fee section, $6 fee will be added so I just learned that Zip it is not really "No fee".

      I am not if AfterPay works same way.

    Hi everyone, may I ask if purchases on amazon.com.au but via international vendor (e.g. sold by amazon UK/ US) is still entitled to the 10%? The URL of purchase is still amazon.com.au (i.e. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B000YMURS4/ref=ox_sc_ac…). I tried reading the t&c and there is no mention of it. I'm assuming it will be ok, but wanted to get OzBargainer's thoughts.

    Recap of T&C:
    (c) The Offer is applicable for Eligible Purchases on amazon.com.au (and/or the Amazon mobile app) using Zip Account during the Offer Period.

    (d) For the purposes of this Offer, “Eligible Purchases” refers to any items available to purchase on amazon.com.au or the Amazon mobile app (AU marketplace) except:

    i. Digital purchases including Ebooks, apps, etc;

    ii. Subscription purchases including Prime, Prime Video, Audible, Music Unlimited and Kindle Unlimited;

    iii. Purchases made at amazon.com (USA) or any other non-Australian Amazon site, mobile app marketplace or location;

    iv. Subscribe and Save items.

    Many thanks!

    • I made a purchase on Amazon UK this afternoon via Zip. It's not tracking but there's another guy before you saying it worked.
      So I don't know. I hope it does track.
      Can anyone else confirm please? Thanks!

      • I think only Amazon AU?

      • Not eligible

        iii. Purchases made at amazon.com (USA) or any other non-Australian Amazon site, mobile app marketplace or location;

      • I bought the item anyway in conjunction with the 4pm-6pm deal on CashRewards and paid with ZIP. Will update if I receive the 10% discount on ZIP or not. The item is purchased on Amazon.com.au website, although it is sold by Amazon US.

  • Is $140 cheap for 5tb seagate?
    I figured with zip pay, thats 10% off! $128 and then with cashback would be sweet!

  • Caps out $50 overall per account. Thought it was $50 per transaction.

    Still bloody good deal!

  • Since this has expired now - ive made purchases within the 10% back period (couple of days ago) that are still pending - once these clear im assuming i still get the 10% back considering i purchased within the promo period?

    • I'm assuming so based on my experience where I purchased on 30 Nov but the payment wasn't processed until 1 Dec. My recent transactions log in Zip shows the payment and credit on 1 Dec.

      I hope the same will apply for my order from the UK which still hasn't been processed and is pending in Zip.

      • Yeah so it processed fine as I purchased in the promo period

  • Trying to pay off the $157.62 on my zip pay account. Enter in $157.62 as an additional payment to clear the amount. Error message pops up saying the maximum amount is $157.62…… thats literally the amount im trying to pay?! I drop it to $157.61 and it lets me process it through.

    Is this some dodgy practice to keep my account balance at $0.01 so i incur a $6 fee?

  • So I bought an VR headset of R480… But I have a Zip Pay and Zip Money account (Zip pay is super low amount but its for small items usually). So my zip pay was already linked to my Amazon account and didn't think it will matter how I check out the item so I just generated a card on the Zip app…

    Now in a battle with Amazon about having to HAVE used the Zip payment method itself. So I had to unlink my Zip Pay and then link my zip money and then I qualify… Been sending emails to them most of the day but no luck so doubt I'll be getting anything.

  • Does anyone has trouble logging into their account?

  • Looks like Amazon has just taken Payment from Zip for a purchase I made on 27 November but there's no sign of the 10% cashback in my activity history.

    Hmm. Will wait a day or so and see if Zip will correct that otherwise I might have to contact Zip.

    • Same for me, purchases made on 30 Nov and processed on 3 Dec.
      I emailed Zip and they replied the purchases are canceled as they can't see the transaction on 30 Nov and refused to credit the 10% and asked me to contact Amazon.

      • Did you attach the invoice from your amazon transaction when you submitted your support ticket? Was the order completed / delivered?

        This reply I received yesterday tells me I still have to wait a while before the reward shows up. I recall that the reward usually comes quite quickly but this is taking much longer than usual.

        Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

        The 10% credit back will be applied as a credit note to your Zip account and won't be deducted from the order amount.
        The credit will be applied within 14 business days of the order amount being deducted from your Zip account.
        Please note that the credit is limited to a maximum of $50 AUD.
        I have also attached the [T&Cs](https://www.amazon.com.au/b?node=8467119051) in case you would like to read further into detail.

        Please feel free to reach out to us if you again if you experience any further issues.
        Have a great day!

        • I sure did. Items purchased are already received. I sent them multiple screenshots/invoice showing date of order and status of items delivered. The person handling my case is clueless.

        • OP did you end up receiving the credit?
          I'm in the same boat (ordered during promo period, payment taken after) and contacted Zip customer service but their response completely ignored my problem.

          Just wondering if you (or anyone else in this situation) was successful.

          • @brentobox: Yes, success here. Got the credit and my credit limit now shows as higher than 1000.

            • @scrimshaw: Thanks, good to hear!
              Speak of the devil, mine JUST came through :)

      • Same issue but they haven't even responded to my ticket yet (submitted over a week ago).
