Interest payment for holding on to your cash for 3 months lol

    • Currently Dell are selling it for $79 on Ebay though so I wouldn't get your hopes up on selling it for $100+ lol.
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Alienware-310M-Wireless-Gam…

I was looking because I was going to sell mine (already have a 2 great gaming mice) but looks like you'll be lucky to get $50/$60 for it without a warranty like you get if you buy off Dell. It's better than nothing but definitely not worth the $133 they claim it normally sells for.

  • +1

Are AW3821DW Dell eBay customers still on track to receive their complimentary Alienware 610M gaming mice this month?

Just haven't received any further updates since LiMaaa's statement on this last month.

    • +1

Just came here because I had the same question.

@LiMaaa: Would be nice to get an update on this one?

  • +16

LiMaaa, please don’t be shy in replying to our questions and queries for our purchase please. We all know you are checking the forum as much as us and itching to comment. We would all appreciate if you are able to provide us an updated ETA of the DGF monitors considering the original ETA you put forward has not been fulfilled for the majority of orders 😁

  • (profanity) it give us 27ers a mouse too for missing the (or sooner) ETA.

  • My DGFs were meant to be shipped on the 12th Jan. Still says in production on the Dell support tracking. Portal tracker shows out of stock. Useless company, definitely going to be Feb at this rate.
Edit: just as I type this Dell sends me an email to tell me my order has now been delayed til Feb 21. I'm done.

  • Just received an email from Dell eBay:
    We apologize for the delay.
Thank you for your recent order with Dell. We are working to ship your order as quickly as possible. The delivery date for your order to arrive has been updated to feb. 21, 2021.

Your order is very important to us. We apologize for any inconvenience this change in delivery may cause.

  • Just got this email. Extremely disappointed! WTF

"Thank you for your recent order with Dell. We are working to ship your order as quickly as possible. The delivery date for your order to arrive has been updated to feb. 18, 2021."

  • +1

Original: Estimated Ship date: 12 Jan.
Email from ebay earlier: "the unit is to be fulfilled by next week until the end of the month"
Now: "The delivery date for your order to arrive has been updated to feb. 22, 2021"

    • Exact same. Contacted on eBay today and was told by end of month, then got an email this evening Revised Delivery Date Feb 22, 2021

      • Same with me too. Had contacted them a few days ago and they told me my Black Friday DGF should be shipped between next week and the end of Jan. However now just got an email update saying the revised delivery date is now Feb 21st. :(

    • Next day it is now shipped. Dell are a bunch of clowns.

  • +1

    Same sh*t different day :D

Mine is in production and I doubt the monitors are shipped.

  • +9

    You guys are getting emails?

  • I'm scared of receiving emails now….

  • +1

    Yah mine too extremely disappointed.
How do they run a business like this.
Can Dell Australia be suspended from posting on ozbargain???

    "We apologize for the delay.

    • +3

Despite this email my order is now showing shipped with a tracking link……..crazy stuff - I guess I will believe it when I have it in my hands.

  • +2

Same boat here I'm over it, 3 months to wait for a monitor it's a joke, is it being made in antarctica or something seriously how come Mwave seem to have them in stock but Dell doesn't :/

  • +1

No sign of my dgf, very disappointing start to a new year :(

  • +1

Email received at 11pm for my DGF order (ordered within first 300~ and Melbourne location)

    We apologize for the delay.

    • https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery?Length=… says "Your Dell Order No XXXX has an ETA of Between 17/01/2021 And 18/01/2021." but who knows anymore.

      • +1

I think you're all good mate, I got the same message. I was able to access my order number through this site https://schenkermobile.dbschenker.com.au/ and it states Your shipment:[87————] has been already processed in the warehouse, no further changes allowed. Earlier in the day it gave me the option to change my delivery address and request a time of delivery. Im 99% sure you'll get the monitor in the next 7 days

        • +1

Interesting, you're right, just checked again and now I have a tracking number. Just processed this morning, delivery ETA - 18/01/2021. Lucky us…!

          • @scaryhours: What the bloody hell same exact thing happened to me today apparently it's in transit now

  • +6

I’m flabbergasted over receiving a revised shipping date in late February after already waiting all of this time…

Would have been good information to know that this deal was clearly a back order from the start, and they were just hoping to obtain stock to make the deliveries in the given window.

    • Feel like the PLE 3080 now

      • PLE 3080 was always told to be backorders, they cant conjure magic stock

also people who ordered launch night all have them by now

  • +3

I called Dell a couple days ago, they told me that they were expecting stock around the end of this week and the DGF would get shipped next week. I messaged through Ebay yesterday and they told me the order will be fulfilled between next week and the end of the month. Now people are getting late Feb delivery dates. I didn't get any email like that, my Dell order details page hasn't changed since December, the Dell portal website never updated past "out of stock at local warehouse"… at least give everyone updates so I know whether or not to refund the order and just get something else now.

    • Still no email on delays but the portal website updated with the 18 or 19 Jan ETA, if anyone is having a similar situation. Guess we just wait and see

  • +1

    No emails received lately.
However recently via the dellpleorder site, has been updated from out of stock to ETA delivery on the 17th or 18th of Jan.
Then again, its obvious we cant try any of their tracking dates at this point. For all i know they can just keep shifting dates further. Who knows what they'll do.

    • When I checked this morning my DGF order was still showing the message saying out of stock at local warehouse now its showing.
Your Dell Order No …. has an ETA of Between 21/01/2021 And 24/01/2021. My order was one of the later ones too went through 7:01 pm because of poor mobile reception. I didn't seem to get the delay email still I'll believe that ETA when it actually is confirmed shipped with tracking.

      • I have not received any emails. This morning my order has been updated to dispatched, eta 18th Jan. Progress finally!

  • +5

Also got the delayed email, new estimate listed as the 21st of February. This is just getting sad now. Whatever happened to the orders being filled based on purchase time? My paypal receipt clearly states "19:00:24 AEDT" so I can't have been too far down the queue…

  • +2

If they actually didn't have stock and didn't intend to deliver by the timeframe indicated, it's straight up illegal as they've already taken the money.

If anyone has the time and/or will to do something more than just having a whinge on OzB, you can check it out here:
    https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/sales-delivery/non-deliver…

    • Thank you! Will definitely look into this 👍

  • +9

I had too much faith in Limaaa, defended her/him against other posters, and reserved my judgement until the very end. I purchased the DGF 20 seconds into the deal and then still nothing.

Have to say, I'm very disappointed.

    • +1

Me too. Seems like Limaaa has gone ghost on this deal 🙄
My DGF still hasn't changed from it's ship date of the 25th of Jan so I hope it gets here by then. I am going to be so annoyed if I get an update saying it's coming in February like some here have stated.

  • +1

It seems that we bought it with the cheapest price so they wouldn’t put us in the highest priority. In the previous posts, someone already got monitors with the slightly higher price after our Black Friday deal. That’s really FAIR. I guess we have to wait for a much longer as the cost of international shipping has been raised absurdly in recent months whether via airplanes or ships due to the pandemic. I doubt there are no incentives for Dell to pay this high shipping cost to fulfil our cheap order.

    • +1

Exactly this. There was no priority nor allocated stock for us all.

  • +1

Maybe you are right. I bought the first DGF from ebay on black friday, and paid $469. The ETA was 14th of Jan, but it is changed to 19th of Feb now. I bought another DGF from dell web site on 28th of Dec, paid $520. The ETA is 11th of Feb at the moment. But not sure if the ETA for the second DGF will be changed in the future or not.

  • +2

As this is my first experience with Dell, I would of thought they'd do orders as a 'first come first serve' basis like most businesses
Purchased my DGF 22 seconds in and got the email yesterday about it being delayed till the 22nd Feb lol
Also I get it that there are inevitable delays these days, but having that initial mentality of a 'set' delivery period does come through as a disappointment when it's not met.
Can't really help but wait I guess..

    • I also just checked the Dell portal and mine now says "Your Dell Order No 8xxxxxxxx(4xxxxxxxx) has an ETA of Between 21/01/2021 And 24/01/2021" (delivery to Perth)

  • +1

Dell is clearly not very smart. I checked this website and it says my delivery is due between Sunday and Monday. Pretty sure no one does deliveries on a Sunday lol.
Seeing all the comments here about delay I have serious doubts I will see it on Monday especially seeing there are no tracking or shipping updates for this apparent Monday delivery 🙄

    https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery?Length=…
"Your Dell Order No 876454xxx(457374xxx) has an ETA of Between 17/01/2021 And 18/01/2021"

  • Haven't received any new emails regarding the late Feb ETA date change. Mine still says "In production" on the website tracking, and "Out of stock" on the tracking portal.

Dell did email me back through Ebay though apologetically and offered me the complimentary gaming mouse for waiting. The email stated that they were experiencing service impacts from the Warehouse and Logistics side due to the overwhelming number of orders received during the Black Friday sale that has resulted in some delays. They assured that "they are working very hard in getting the unit dispatched the soonest possible time."

But yeah, no new ETA timeframe for me.

  • +1

"Your Dell Order has an ETA of Between 18/01/2021 And 19/01/2021."

    • So despite receiving an email last night from Dell saying my order had been delayed a month, visiting the dellpleportal tracker today now shows my order has an ETA between 18/01/2021 And 19/01/2021 also. Previously the tracker had said out of stock. Will wait and see I guess.

      • +1

Yes the portal said oos yesterday. But I haven't received any email from dell

  • Just checked now on the portal and within the hour its now updated from out of stock to "ETA of Between 19/01/2021 And 20/01/2021"

  • +2

I checked the dell portal yesterday and had my status change from "out of stock" to "ETA of Between 17/01/2021 And 18/01/2021" and i have now checked again to find that it has been shipped via star track and will arrive on ETA 18/01/2021. (DGF monitor, location Vic). I assume the dell portal maybe the most accurate from what I've seen from people on this forum

  • +3

My estimated despatch/arrival for the DGF was originally Jan 13th/18th per the Dell portal. The DBschenker portal was updated recently to say ETA 18th-19th. It was shipped today.

So maybe the revised ETA's are accurate?

    • Which site now tells you it's shipped?

      • DBschenker stated it was shipped with a tracking number but it wasn't reflected on the Dell portal. After a few hours the Dell portal now shows it as shipped too.

    • Mine was also the 18th-19th this morning and just checked the DBschenker portal and it has been shipped with Startrack today.

  • Mine has update to this

Your Dell Order No (xxxxxxx) has an ETA of Between 18/01/2021 And 19/01/2021.

  • Same here.
Your Dell Order No xxxxxxxxx has an ETA of Between 18/01/2021 And 19/01/2021.

  • +4

Had eta of Between 17/01/2021 And 18/01/2021 on the search eta site (https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery?Length=…) Just checked then and it was dispatched today, hopefully others who have the same eta get it dispatched soon.

    • Thank you! Used the link and mine is now dispatched with Startrack

    • Seems mine is dispatched as well after checking this link with my DELLORDERNO87———-.

Still disappointed I didn't get by the weekend, but if it truly does come by Monday next week, then it should be ok.

  • Has anyone gotten a tracking number for the mouse if it’s being shipped separately?

    • +1

I accepted the mouse a few weeks ago but haven't received a tracking number yet

  • +8

What in the hell is going on over at DELL? There are 4 sources of information and all 4 are giving completely different answers.
Dell Ebay says it was shipped on the 7th of December!
The Dell website says In Production with an ETA of Jan 30th, it has said this since day 1.
The Customer Service rep who emailed me said ETA of Feb 7th.
The Dell Portal (not even sure where this came from, just checked it now) says that it was shipped today 15/01 and ETA of 18/01.

This level of incompetence is beyond a joke. I will NEVER be buying from Dell again, even if the price was good and the long wait was expected, i can't get over how bad this mess is.

    • +1

      Exact same as me lol

    • +3

Me too! This is my first purchase of a Dell product and it will certainly be my last. The amount of misinformation given about shipping is beyond a joke. I hope the monitor is good and not defected because I would hate to have to deal with Dell customer service. The gaming mouse they offered is probably gonna take 2 months to come as well. I am still stunned that such a big company like this can stuff it up so badly. I have bought off tiny Ebay stores that give me correct shipping dates so why is it so hard for Dell? It's absolutely ridiculous!

  • +1

According to that Dell Portal my monitor has been despatched today and I now have a Startrack URL. Where did this Dell portal site even come from? I hope it is accurate lol.

According to Startrack it will arrive on Tuesday

    • +1

the dell portal comes from the ebay email that gave us the dell order number (sent 7th of Dec). Here is the email for reference
      "Dear Customer,

Thank you for your recent order from our Dell eBay Store.

Your order has been processed and it will be on its way to you soon. You may track the progress of your order by following the steps below:

      Option 1:
      a. Visit the Dell Site through this link: https://www.dell.com/support/orders/au/en/audhs1
      b. Enter your Dell Order Number uploaded in your eBay order that starts with 87XXXXXX and click submit

      Option 2:
      a. Visit our Global Shipping portal using this link: https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery
      b. Enter your Dell Order Number uploaded in your eBay order that starts with 87XXXXXX and the captcha shown in the box, then click submit.
      "

      • Thanks Barry, makes sense! I share my eBay account and don't get the emails.

On my startrack it says ETA 19/1 but it also says "Truck out" under consignment…. What to believe….

        • truck out just means it's left the depot that Startrack received it.

i.e. Mine is being delivered to Adelaide and also says truck out in Sydney

          • @waade395: Cheers Wade, thought because I'm near the depot I mightve had some luck swing my way.

  • +1

Checked today and by surprise have a startrack number/link
From syd to melb so will assume early delivery next week.
Fingers crossed for the rest of OzB fam getting theirs soon

  • I contacted dell today and received a reply offering the mouse and also gave me a StarTrack link.

    Can’t wait.

    • how did you contact them?

      • ebay

      • Yep, as Freestyle said, just an ebay message. They replied within a few hours.

  • My eta was changed from Jan 12-13 to mid Feb (all within past couple days) now it says its been shipped via dell tracking dispatched from Sydney, new eta is Jan 18th (QLD here)
also got a free mouse confirmation, fingers crossed for Monday now.

    • +1

Mine has also changed from 19/2 ETA to shipped today, delivery 18/1. Nothing about a mouse for me though.

  • +8

Dell has monkaS'd reading the forum for the past 2 days and now starting to dispatch units.

Just a reminder to all, mouse will be shipped separately. Wouldnt be surprised that the mouse is low priority and will take another few months to get 😂

  • my delivery date was estimated like a lot of you for the 17th jan via the dell portal. i called the customer support and asked when i would realistically expect it and was told itd ship by february 3rd and to expected before the 8th of feb. weather this is accurate or will be the same for everyone felt it worthwhile sharing .

wether it makes any difference but i also finalised my order within 23 seconds so i thought id surely have been one of the quicker ones

    • worth adding to this i just received an email as of 2:21am with a delay up until February 21st (location ; Metro Melbourne)

extremely annoyed to say the least

  • Got the delay email as well from eBay but also says delay on the dell portal, email to dell support gotten a generic email and email to dell ebay same thing and offered a free wireless mouse.

But checking the DBS portal reveal a difference story, dispatched and onboard with StarTrack, I am located in sunshine coast QLD. ETA: 19/01/21

  • Had delivery date ETA of 25th of Jan. Today it has been shipped with star track with a delivery date of 18/01/2021

  • My dgf order got shipped today

  • +1

my dgf order has also shipped with startrack tracking. It was showing ETA for Jan 25th on Dell.com, then I tried https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery? and suddenly today it has been shipped out. Dell.com tracking has just updated as I was typing this message.

  • same as you guys, it finally shipped today, arriving day after tmrw (apparently)

    That took so long lol

  • +1

Looking good boys, get ready to strap in for the dileMaa if any of these panels are faulty!

    • +4

Hoping for no dellemmas after this dellayed dellivery

    • Hopefully these monitors are Dellicious from the get go!

    • if I get anything faulty thats it with Dell for me

My previous experience with them was good and their monitors lasted much longer than any others I bought which is why I jumped at the deal, if price was by main focus i'd have just gone with Gigabyte

  • Shipped today, had delivery of Jan 17 then Feb 21st yesterday

I'm also in the "shipped today" bunch, but had a strange twist to it! I received 2 emails from StarTrack, first at 12.30 saying 'On Board for Delivery', second at 3.30 saying 'Delivered'. I wasn't at home but knew my partner was, so I texted just to check that everything had gone well.

She texted back to say no delivery, no nothing. Searched everywhere around our place (part of a development, couriers hey confused all the time and just drop shit at random neighbours houses), but nada.

So I check the tracking details from the email, it says delivered to Melbourne (where I am), and signed for by "Tim T" (not my last initial). Straight away I'm freaking out thinking delivery person has helped themself blah blah stupid paranoia.

I finally, 2 hours later, check the Dell page for my order to find contact details to start asking questions, and it's giving me a different story. Still with StarTrack, but on a truck from Sydney, "In Transit".

So I've somehow got emails about a different delivery, not for me, but for someone in the same city and with the same name, on the same day as I'm hoping the DGF finally gets delivered. Absolutely put me through the ringer, thinking how am I going to get StarTrack/Dell to believe I didn't get it delivered etc etc. In the end, must have just been a mistake from StarTrack, and they've attached my email address to a different delivery. Really bizarre, but a great relief when I realised I didn't have to chase it up (yet!)

    • some newbie fcked up i'm guessing

      • Weird (profanity) up, to link my email to a different delivery. Would have thought this would all be automated these days anyway?

        • think they have to click 'delivered' on whatever app/device they are given

Dbs portal now showing ETA 20/1-21/1 vs the 20/1-24/1 it showed yesterday though still not showing as shipped meanwhile the dell order support page is now showing. "Order not found"

    • My order number in the Dell portal now leads to a "This information is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later" page. I did get an invoice email from eBay though, which others have said is a sign of imminent delivery

Same here no order. But I did an Invoice emailed to me? Is that good or bad??

EDIT : Looks like I have a star track Tracking and its in SYD at the moment. DEL estimated to be 18/01 (Monday)
