Just saw this in the Challenges section of the Shopback app. More free money to use for Black Friday! Limited to the first 6,000 users.

  • Note: The '$ to go' amount that appears when you start the challenge is the pre GST amount.
  • This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus cashback when you spend $5 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, exclusive of delivery & all other fees) at any store through ShopBack between 6.00pm and 11.59pm AEDT on 27th November 2020.
  • Purchases from ShopBack's Gift Card Store (ShopBack Voucher) are excluded from this challenge.
  • Only purchases made after you 'Start' this challenge will qualify for the bonus cashback.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
  • Available while redemptions last.
  • The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive shopping at your desired store.
  • The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular cashback turns Confirmed.

    First time doing this challenge thing. Just made a purchase after going through the ShopBack app and being lead to the eBay app. I didn’t notice anything special that lead me to believe that ShopBack was tracking it. How will you know if ShopBack tracked it?

    Secondly, if I purchase $5 at ebay (desktop), do I still get $10 ($5+$5) from both challenges? How does this work?

      They dont instantly track. Check you have a click history and you should be good to claim if it doesnt appear over the next few days. Do note that this is seriously busy time for them too, so things may take even longer.

    I have the $30 & two $5 bonuses to use. I went to use it one transaction, but from 2 different sellers, went to pay with paypal, says it has to split into 2 orders. Can anyone clarify if that will work, please?

    It the terms says multiple items in one transaction.

    Update: Found out it happens if the one or more of the Sellers are managed by Ebay.

    The way around it, use a credit card instead of PayPal.

    I am new to this kind promotion.
    I clicked start the Challenges at 6:30 pm. Does it mean I got a quota to use? Shopback stated 6000 participants reached.
    Can I still go ahead to make purchase?

        I think once you hit "Start", it means you are registered to this offer. "Shop Now" does not mean anything as purchase may not be made or tracking may fail.

        It says "Limited to the first 6,000 users to 'Start' the Challenge"

          Agreed. But I am unable to do the challenge now even though I started it earlier today. It shows up in the list of challenges near the bottom of the list which indicates that I have activated it.

          I think once you have started the challenge you are entitled to cashback.
          Otherwise why would $5 at any store challenge show "Ends in 18:00s" and counting if it is already expired.
          It does says they have reached 6000 participants.

          It also says "Limited to the first 6000 users to 'Start' the Challenge". So people who were first 6000 to start the challenge has until midnight to make a purchase as per my understanding.

        That's what I think and I think the T&Cs are incorrect. The T&Cs do state that it is limited to the first 6000 users to 'Start' the challenge. This is clearly wrong as I started the challenge but am unable to finish it now.

        I have pm'd the rep for clarification.

          Nah, this one is similar to the $30 Bonus yesterday. Once you claim/start/opt in the challenge then it's good to go until the deadline, even when you hadn't bought anything at the time the cap was reached.

    Nothing has tracked for my purchase yet. Really disappointing ShopBack. This is the second deal (the other one was on 30/11/2020) that hasnt tracked. For this one I cant even report it as a missing cashback because the system doesnt allow me to select the date this purchase was made.

    Got a Pending date of 27/01/2021. Seriously over ShopBack and their cash back deals. Never again. They cannot be trusted with our data nor our cash back claims.
