Philips 328E1CA 31.5" Curved 4K UHD Monitor - $449 Delivered(Sold out)/Pickup @ Centre Com

170

First post, please be gentle :)

I have been tracking this monitor's price for a long time. Previously was $649 then dropped to $599 a few months ago and today is probably the lowest $449.

I was using the same model back in China. The monitor is decent for watching movies or just browsing the web. Colour looks good but I am not a professional and cannot judge whether the colour is accurate. The box contains a colour calibration report though. Ok for some light gaming at 60Hz, but may not be suitable for hardcore gamers

    • Don't fail us. :)

      • How much will it be? I am waiting to be all-in for it on Ebay sale. :D

    • Please please please get us a good deal! I really need to buy one!
What news can you tell us?

    • Ooooo fingers crossed

    • We should legitimately create a petition.

Is it as cheap as Ebay deal on Sunday? (~$449)

  • The shadow on the water underneath the island in the image makes it look like the island's floating at first glance.

Upvote if you can guarantee a Xiaomi 34" curved monitor purchase if reduced to $470.

This one ? or the xiaomi 34 ?

  • This one has only tilt, that's a shame. It looks like it could be good for image editing.

Would anyone know if this one (or the Xiaomi 34") would work with an Intel i7-6700 CPU and onboard Intel HD Graphics 530 card? Its limited by having just a HDMI 1.4 port, no displayport. I don't run any games, mainly Office docs and Lightroom photo editing. I want to do video editing but haven't ventured into that yet. Lack of separate graphics card hasn't affected me so far with Dell 24" ultrasharp something monitor. Too stingy for graphics card unless I really need it. Appreciate any thoughts.

Hdmi 1.4 is not enough for 4k60hz, you can use a typec 3.0 (if any) to dp adapter.

  • Ah damn - $50 cheaper than the Dell S3221QS deal!

    Anyone know how they compare?

    • 1500r of this is better than 1800r of Dell model

  • From the image, this model does not seem to be height adjustable?

    • Yes, height is not adjustable
