66% Cashback on Norton @ Shopback

60

Looking to renew my Norton subscription and found that there's 66% cashback on top of the Cyber Monday sale.

1 Year Subscriptions:
Norton 360 Standard (1 PC): $59.99 ($20.40 after cashback)
Norton 360 Deluxue (3 PC): $74.99 ($25.50 after cashback)
Norton 360 Premium (5 PC): $84.99 ($28.90 after cashback)

Now I know this isnt for everyone but I thought I'd share for those that still use third party antivirus software. The 3 PC and 5 PC deals ends up cheaper than your typical eBay OEM codes and is probably easier to set up.

  • Which antivirus do you all usually use? I use both Mcafee and Bitdefender (both premium end available within their options)

    • I would say you are in good hands with either of them

To be fair if you're just looking for protection on a windows computer the default "Windows Defender" is more than enough now days.

Yep correct but I got it so I can use their VPN and Password manager which has been serving me well

      • Still waiting on Microsoft to bundle the long talked about ham sandwich.

I think they need to pay me to buy and use this…

  • If you're just looking for a single license, then this offer from SaveOnIt would be better at $17.49 without having to wait for cashback. The 3 and 5 device keys are just a bit dearer than the cashback promo, but some people may not want to wait for cashback.

The first thing I uninstall when I buy a new laptop.

Does anyone know if there's a way to stack this with an existing subscription?

    • Could you just buy it now and not install it until you need it?

I know with their own cashback deals, they had it in their fine print that you could buy it and email them to have it added on to your existing sub. Luckily, mine expired a couple of days after I had to install it to get cashback

    • Normally just get them to add the key to the existing sub via chat.

Beware, I just bought the 5 licence version, but then checked my account and only had three licences. I think its a mistake on Norton's part because their web site says Premium covers 5 devices in some places and only 3 in others. It's more than a 1hr wait for chat and knowing my luck, getting their stuff up sorted will invalidate cashback.

    • Same issue. It looks like a typo because it only says 5 in a few places.

Please let me know if Norton acknowledges it and if cashback still works.

  • Plus, the 66% cash back is only on pre-GST spend, so it works out at 60% cashback. Better off with saveonit

  • Ok but why would I want to pay for a virus
