eh, it's 15% off a brand new item, I think that's pretty good.

      • +8

$83.75 after cashback if there's still any stock left when the Cashrewards deal goes live in ~3 hours.

        • +2

Going by how popular ps5 hardware is, it won't last that long. may as well buy now with zip pay 10% cashback or risk missing out

        • 3 hours ? Won't last.

    • +8

If you can find a better one please let us know!

    • +1

      sh*t deal compared to??

I think this is better than the RRP deals for PS5 and Xbox series X

    • +5

I know the feeling bro when you missed the ps5 release this year. You hate seeing ps5 related post. Oh wait, i forgot i had the nov release and enjoying it.

    • +4

Your recent activity shows you been calling a lot of things shit. Grow up.

    • +1

How so? Looks comparable with the bargain prices here for a pair of joy cons.

  • +3

Bought. Now need a consle to play with. Can someone let me know where to buy a console now please?

    • you’ve got plenty of consoles ;)

      • +1

        Not PS5s…

    • +2

      use with pc

    • feeBay, but you need to pay close to 2X the RRP.

Save $15 on the additional controller to offset ~$700 extra on buying a console.

    • +2

      Try Broden

    • +1

Hook it up to neighbor's PS5

    • Download cemu emulator and a few roms and you're good to go :)

    • Or use with Nvidia Shield Pro

  • -3

    Eh. not great

  • +3

And if you pre-ordered a PS5, you would have a $30 credit to apply to this also - thanks OP!

    • More info please?

      • too late?

        • I have a pre-order, curious about the credit

          • @umadbrahhhh: Has to be used on an Amazon AU stocked item and then it will apply in the payment screen.

            • @Timboj: Thanks @Timboj

I jumped on chat and am being told my pre-order was not eligible for the credit? oh well

              • @umadbrahhhh: Bugger. Mine was the first round pre-order (Sept) which is when it was offered. Not sure about any subsequent.

                • @Timboj: OHHHH PRE-ORDER hahaha

Mine was launch day order, just feels like a pre-order hahaha.

Thanks for helping me figure it out.

    • Does it count as a preorder if it was on release day but they had no stock? It wasn't showing for me.

      • No

  • +1

For some reason my $30 credit isn't showing hmm.

EDIT: I am an idiot and somehow pocket ordered pre workout last night. Lucky I could cancel it… Thanks OP $64 for a controller definitely worth it!

    • how do you get the $30 credit if you have a preorder?

      • Was for preordering PS5. Just appears in your account so if it isn't there then not sure :)

        • ok I preordered a PS5 but nothing in my account :(

          • @motlking: Pre-order or launch day order?

          • +1

@motlking: I had mine preordered since September when they were running the $30 credit promo. As @umadbrahhhh said did you order on the day for December stock?

            • @Dingus: Same - pre-ordered day 1 of pre-orders opening. If it applies to you, you would have received an Amazon email informing you it has been applied (only for items sold by Amazon AU).

  • Has anybody tried this on PC, I've heard Steam already has integration for it.

    • +1

Using dual shock settings through Steam. No official integration yet. Only beta.
Right now it works just like a basic controller. No vibration or anything.

  • Damn I was too late. OOS.

    • Me too! Stupid work computer not saving my password.

      • It's back! But I was counting on the $30 discount, which is only for pre orders and not for people like myself who ordered after release.

  • Sold out or not working?

    • It is now sold out

    • Its still available, just checked. Didnt buy because I already have extra controller but no PS5.

  • nice box

  • Who were they price matching with this I wonder? Edit: It was catch.

  • +1

back in for $94, great deal if you've not used up all your zip 10% off. Brings it to $84.60

    • +1

      Any cash back on top?

      • No idea, I didn't think so, so didn't try?

      • Video games category is usually excluded from all cash back offers. You can use the $5 back with min $5 spend at Shopback though.

Can always take the punt and see if the controller is available during the CashRewards 12% cashback, that would be insane!

  • My X button is sticky, fk it's annoying.

  • +1

    Maybe constant flow or restocks?

    Will hold until cashback time

  • EDIT: $30 discount was for PRE ORDERS and not orders after release date :(

  • Damn I got this for $109 at jbhifi.

    • +3

You lost your Ozbargain membership when you paid the RRP price for something (unless this thing is a Xbox sx or ps5)

      • unless this thing is a Xbox sx or ps5

Nice try, mate. No Ozbargain membership for you, come back 1 year.

      • I wasn't expecting a sale on a new controller. This is for my PC

  • +1

Jb hifi just price matched for me 🤟
    Thanks OP

  • It said expired but I refreshed 15 minutes later and got one. For anyone else looking, check back - just because it says expired here may not mean it won't be back.

  • If only i had a ps5

  • +1

OP, you are the best! I was just about to head into a store to pick one up.

  • Back available at $94 for those that are still wanting one. Just nabbed one.

Also, limit of one purchase per account.

  • +1

Good deal but worth risking for the extra 12% cashback later today.

  • Back in stock QUICK!

  • Any reason to purchase extra controller if i dont have any friends to play with?

    • +2

You can always select a co-op play through and learn to use the controller with your toes?

    • +1

Battery runs out quickly in some games. I've found it very convenient having a second controller ready to go when one dies.

      • +1

People shouldn't have to buy 2 controllers just because the batteries are weak, Sony should have made better battery life on this controllers from the start.

      • nothing a charge cable and powerbank cant fix.

  • +1

Got credit difference from Amazon. Bought it yesterday at $110. Thanks OP

    • how do you get credit difference? did you call them?

      • Loaded up a chat. It's easier this way and keeps a log.

  • This is actually tempting to buy to use with my PC. Heard steam offers full support. I am currently using Xbox one controller, would this be worth the upgrade?

    • +1

I bought one but might cancel later, I'm quite sure PC does not have support for adaptive triggers (so far anyway), the one real thing it has over my current xbone controller.

      • lol if that's the case then probably not worth the buy (as there is no real upgrade?). Hopefully they support it with future updates.

  • Its the same price at Catch if you click through the Cyber Monday banner - https://www.catch.com.au/event/cyber-monday-spend-75-get-15-… - They currently have $15 off at checkout. Or if you pay via Latitude pay ($20 off purchase over $65) you can get it for $89 plus whatever Cashrewards/Shopback offer.

  • +1

12% Cashrewards live now and still in stock.

    • Yep was just about to say! I cancelled my original order and just re-ordered now… and paid with Zip so get an extra 10% back. :D

  • I'm just a bit confused about this:

Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, subscribe & save items, prime subscriptions, and all categories/products listed at 0% cashback.

Game consoles and accessories were previously 0% so are they remaining at 0? lol

    • +2

12% cashback will be on all categories, they've removed the category cashback rates table when the offer went live. If it was still 0% TA would have mentioned it and CashRewards would have left the rates on the page.

  • $94 + $5.99 delivery?

    • Are you a Prime member?

      • Nope. But it defaulted to express delivery. Cheeky amazon tricks

    • +3

Check to see if $5.99 is discounted back in your total summary first.

If not, it might have picked Prime next day delivery shipment method. If you are not a Prime member, change it to standard delivery so delivery fee is waived.

      • Ahhhh legend. Thanks for that. Also dammit. I've been nailed for delivery twice over the last couple of days for exactly that reason… and didn't know why. Thanks again @netsurfer

        • If you've been charged for Prime / Next Day delivery (and you are not a Prime member), chat to Amazon CSR. I reckon the CSR would either waive the extra delivery cost or refund it but change it to standard delivery (for not yet shipped orders).

Though, I do feel that if you picked standard / non-Prime delivery, you get treated like a second class citizen.

          • @netsurfer: Well, I want going to bother calling them, but I did. Pretty surprised at how easy it was to get one changed and they will refund the other once shipped. I'm guessing they strike this a bit? A bit of a rawt on Amazon's side to say 'free shipping' then default to paid shipping. But hey, unless we do something about it that's how Amazon makes the mega bucks (with tactics like this amongst other things)
            Thanks again netsurfer

  • It does work well with PC. I have been using it for last few weeks. Got it in Big W promotion.

  • So annoyed, bought it with the 12% cashback with shopback and 10% with zip at full price, wanted to get the difference refunded today but support won't do it. Site won't even let me buy another one at the discounted price, and returns is $7. Never had to pay anything for an Amazon return before…

    • Should have cancelled the order you did earlier and re-ordered with the cashback and zip credit. That's what I did earlier. Not much time left now though.

      • The order shipped out before the deal went online. Usually Amazon are pretty good at refunding the difference…

        • Ah bugger! Yeh I usually find them really helpful and good about those things… but then I've had other operators who don't budge on anything.

  • +1

    The deal is back on!!!

    • Nice one! The cool thing is, this deal seems to be one item per person, which resets each time they load it again. Cashback is 7% at present, so this item becomes: $87.42, so 20% off RRP.

  • Anyone could share a screenshot of the amazon page with $94 price, guys?
