Some kid would probably love it, and some parent would probably be relieved to get it so cheap. Unicorn puke PC peripherals, jeez, what a thing to be elitist about :-(

      • +1

Serious question. Can you plug this keyboard straight into a laptop to use when gaming? My snapper only has a shit laptop so this would be a upgrade/xmas pressie

    • +4

Hey son, you know that 3080 you wanted for Xmas?….

    • -3

ah yes because spending $200 on a keyboard makes such a big difference to your gaming experience.

The headset and mouse? Fair enough, (for adults anyway) the rest? meh.

  • +2

Why do flashy lights mean gaming?

    • +6

If you're not blinded by a rainbow, are you even gaming?

    • +7

They disrupt your sleep cycle which is a prerequisite for being a gamer

      • +1

        This explains everything.

      • +1

My sleep cycle is disrupted just fine with my old MS keyboard and mouse.

  • Nice, mechanical keyboard with blue switches and clutch mechanism on the mouse, active noise cancellation on the headset

    • +1

What kind of headset would have active noise cancellation in a $59 bundle. No way on earth would they have active noise cancellation in such a cheap headset.

    • You forgot about the micro-etched titanium mouse pad

  • -2

Feel sorry for anyone buying this, the sensor in the mouse would be pure garbage for gaming, Gaming isn't just about RGB the optical sensors in good Gaming mice are actually built for those fast flick shots while cheap sensors spin out.

    • +1

Gaming isn't just about fast flick shots.

Plenty of games don't require super fast optical sensors.

      • -3

You're literally paying extra for RGB, you can get a equally shitty wired mouse from officeworks for $9 + a equally bad headset from ebay for for like $10 - $20, and a cheap keyboard from office works for $9.

If you can't afford more now for something better then use what you got (if anything) or buy cheaper stuff and save the rest for something better later on.

Relax this is for kids that play basic games not AAA titles. Little RGB would of made me smile when I was a kid.

          Don't be a Grinch

@DoesntEvenMatter: You don't need RGB lighting and "Gaming" branded peripherals to play basic games, you just need any mouse and keyboard, a piece of paper for a mousepad and a pair of earbuds. If you're gonna buy this for a ten year old casual in the expectation it'll all probably break in a year that's fine, but everyone considering should do so with eyes wide open.

            • +7

              @nope: Dezeption is spot on.

This is for kids playing Roblox and Minecraft. They'd get a kick out of it.

              I'm guessing you're not a parent.

Way to ruin some kid's christmas

@ChadHominem: How the fk is helping someone not buy garbage doing harm? This is ozbargain not ozjunk.

            Grow up

Perfect. This is going to improve my aim in csgo

    • +1

      was it really any good…

      :P

      • Mine ain't…. I was proud to ever hit anything during any multiplayer game…. my K/D in BF4 was probably atrocious :P

  • For anyone actually considering this Reject Shop has a decent $10 "gaming" keyboard and $15 mouse that are better than these ones.

  • Many years ago (2012?), I bought two sets of Laser wireless headset/mic to use for training (I use Debut to record training sessions and leave the video of the lesson on the client PC). Still have and use them both— never failed, except over time the ear pads needed replacing (most do). Later, I bought their DVD player- region-free when none of the other brands had it. Next, I bought their region-free BRD player. All still running to this day.

For $59, I'd say this is a nice gift pack for the pre-teens, who, as Dezeption said, would welcome the lights. If my previous experience holds true, they'll last a lot longer than you might think.

  • +3

I should get these for work.

    • +1

Do you work at a strip club?

      • Well, I can now!

Serious note: The headphones are your usual 3.5mm audio cable. It has a USB port specifically for the lights. I would have preferred just the USB port for everything.

I bought this and saw instant improvements in my gaming skills. My aim and gamesense is unmatched by anyone even the pros. Would recommend/10
