For standard usage there isn’t much need for the plus. They’re only really better for long sequential writes, so unless your workload needs that you won’t see much in the way of a performance boost.
I think Plus gives you slightly higher sustained read/write speed, though it's not heaven and hell difference. On average use your non-Plus is enough.
Plus, Plus just probably gives you more things to brag, if one is a numbers slave and being label conscious.
