  • Are you allowed to change that yourself or you have to find a electrician ?

    • +5

      You need an electrician.

      • And a minimum electrician is about $150. Probably less per a single powerpoint if you want to do more than one. Probably more if you, by law, need some circuit breakers swapped to safety switches, right?

        • Makes little 💵 sense. I’ll stick to a wall plug charger. They outlast most devices.

  • Most of the customers seem to have issues with screw not being the non standard gauge and the back being bigger than normal.

    • Yeah, you just need to tap the c-plate to take the bigger screw

      Easily fixed but not ideal

      • Are you talking about the mounting screws? If so can you just use the old one?

        • Yes can use the old ones.

  • These only output 2.5amps so if charging 2 device's does the output drop to 1amp each side?

      • Thanks @impoza contacted Amazon and they refunded the money how good is that , thanks for yours advice

  • If need more Can get 3 from eBay for $13.11 each total $39.33

    USB-C?

  • No quick charge?

  • This worked fine for a little while but then the usb ports died one day, the customer service was pretty good though they refunded when they saw it was an actual hardware issue and they couldn't troubleshoot.

    • Damn Bridge rectifiers.

      • true. only if those diode didn't die

  • So frustrating these are all USB A… we don’t have any USB A devices left at home, wonder why there isn’t a USB C power point available yet…

    • @TheBlackMini listed multiple options to ease your frustration if you care to scroll up! :)

      • I actually posted before him. I have actually seen that one before, I was just hoping for a USB-C only one.

There was one by a company by SockITZ, and that looked perfect, but seems like that has been confirmed vapourware…

    • you can use USB A for usb USB C devices. If you are thinking to charge you phone with these it's not a good idea. Best to you original charger plus you get faster charging speeds with original charger.

These are good for cameras, lights, speakers and some older phones.
