      I have just bought S2721DS for Mac Mini M1. I have been using Xiaomi 34 inch monitor in my other Mac Mini works great. Using HDMI cable for connection.

        I have heard that 4k is better for the mac mini M1 - are you getting a good resolution with the DS.

        I dont want to buy 2 x DS only to regret not buying the 4k ones.

        I am using HDMI for one and TB to Display port for the second screen, both to display on the Mac mini M1 (purchasing soon)

          I would advise going for 4k one as text look blurry due to anti aliasing in Mac OS for non retina displays.

    I got mine in The Black Friday sale but I’m having trouble getting it to use a 60htz refresh rate. The option is greyed out to 30htz. I’m getting different colour lines and fuzz, when I drop the resolution to its lowest it all works fine. It’s external to an iMac. Anyone having the same issues?

      Are you connected via HDMI or DP?

      I believe for proper 75Hz freesync using nvidia cards you need to use DP (for those of us using PC's)

      When I bought a 4K monitor I bought a cheap $12 DP cable from MSY, couldn't get it to refresh above 30FPS. Bought a more expensive DP cable from CableChicks and it worked flawlessly since then - so it could be the cable.

    I bought S2721DS today says delivery is on 01/01/2021 and status shows already in production.
    Hopefully I will receive it by 1st week of January. It is for my business does not want to cancel.

    I bought the 27inch DS through the website in between sales and the item arrived exactly on the day described. August purchase, October delivery.

    I also bought the latest 27inch QS black friday ozb special and that arrived on 11/12.

    I know a fair number of people have had difficulties, but at least in my experience things have been smooth and expectations met.

    It also helps that our local couriers are really nice bunch.

    I have a S2721D, I connect the monitor to the motherboard (h81m-plus)via HDMI. But I can’t get the resolution 2560x1440. Is there something wrong?

      The onboard graphics probably just doesn't support that resolution - have you updated the drivers?

      Try using the intel graphics software that is installed with the driver to set ther resolution rather than windows - friend bought one of those ultra widescreens and windows just wouldn't let him pick the right resolution until he used the intel graphics control panel and then he was able to set the resolution.

    Hey guys, I really want to neg as with the other neggers here.
    But because dev3 clarified that the stock is local, I won't neg.

    But I'm in the same boat as the other neggers, I bought a S3221QS during the BF deals. Had I known it would take over 2 months to deliver, I would have gone with the Xiaomi 34" which was delivered within the week. It could be a case of PEBKAC that I completely missed the expected arrival date during checkout, but I don't think so.

    I ordered the S2421HS on the 2/12 with a ship by date of 8/12 and a delivery of 16/12 (perfect for a Christmas present). On the 9/12 I got an email saying it wouldn't arrive until the 8/03/2021 which was pretty shitty.

    Like others have said, I wouldn't be surprised if Dell is just taking orders and then producing the units. A pretty good risk free business model that I guess we are supporting by buying them anyway haha.

    The S2421HS I bought isn't even listed on the website anymore. Looks like it's been replace by the cheaper S2421HN, not sure how to feel about that tbh and I was under the impression the HN model DIDN'T have a stand.

    Go for the S2721DS, I returned the S2721D because the stand was extremely wobbling - the screen moves if you move the mouse ! I exchanged with the DS, way better

    Has anyone had any issues connecting these to a Microsoft Surface dock? I got the S2721DS and when I connect it to the dock it momentarily shows my desktop but it restarts and keeps repeating. no problem when connected directly to the surface laptop. very frustrating as I bought 2 displays.

        Yes did that and also cleared the registry (a simple step on MS's dock troubleshoot webpage). these steps helped but I couldn't get one of the monitors to be recognised as a QHD resolution in the display settings. The issue was found to be with the cable. For one monitor I was using a HDMI to mini-DP cable (worked fine) and with the other I was using a HDMI cable with an mini-DP adaptor (this was the issue). Purchased a display port to mini-display port cable and started working fine.
