Anything in this size with touchscreen? Can't seem to find anything under $100. Thanks.

    • Also looking for 10-14inch touch screen under 100

  • same as this ?

i brought the anmite, its pretty neat and built in speakers
but don't like that 1920x1080 devices are stretched.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/898368

    • Thx was thinking to get this for switch but i read your comment about stretched

      • yeah, it's noticeable, i don't understand why they can't have software or osd whatever it is to make it so you can have blackbars.

        • Ok.. 50 bucks saved. I feel rich already

          • +1

            @McMaferMur: Yeah!

I don't know why someone negged me.

I found the Anmnite monitor to be really neat but again, I don't like stretched 1080.

I know I'm asking for a bit much to have black bars but I Don't see why they can't do it.

    • This is 1920x1280… Which is precisely the aspect ratio of the monitor. I don't see what the issue is. If you're setting the display resolution in Windows to 1080 then expect it to look odd

      • I think they mean for consoles

        • I am indeed talking about consoles and or devices where you can't set a custom resolution.

This isn't directly related to the OP, but I'm in the market for a portable monitor (WFH ± maybe some gaming) and I stumbled on this:
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008099275973.html
Is this a decent price for an OLED from Uperfect?

    • +2

      Looks good.

    • +2

Oh wow, that's like the ones they have in 1880p laptops

    • +1

It's a good price at the moment I think. Got one of these for around $350. Overkill for basic needs but they really are awesome.

      @ChickenAdobo @AeymothSky @ritzaus
Gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on this one 👍
Thanks all, I really appreciate your thoughts/input.

      • +1

Hope you enjoy the product when it arrives,

Would appreciate updates I'm interested in those as well down the line if I ever needed one.

Currently got a 1880p 90hz OLED in my Acer Swift Go laptop and it's pretty impressive but the 90hz is a bit of the only downside

      • +1

Nice one. It really is nice. Just heavier, bigger and more pricey than some of these cheap options but if you're someone who is going to be using it a bit and maybe holding onto it long term - it really is amazing. The cheap ones are good for the occasional use here and there. Hope you enjoy it.

      • Thanks for the kudos. Im eyeing the same model and would love your feedback on it later on. Ready to jump on the oled space for pc gaming.

  • Do any of these work plugging into android phone.

    • +1

Yes but only if your phone supports video out.

Already have 15.6 but still want this lol

    • +5

I had two 15.6" arrive this week that I don't even need. I guess I'll just build a wall of monitors to track deals.

      • how do you actually find the time to do this stuff?

        • +5

That's the million dollar question. I work 50 hours a week, have a social life and still manage to find deals for OzBargain.

          • +1

            @Clear: I respect the effort!

Follow your profile and the deals on aliexp are always good.

Do you get 8 hours of sleep ?!?!

            • +3

@AeymothSky: Not on weekends aha. I do keep lists and have monitoring in place for a lot of different AliExpress products. It helps find discounts quickly.

              • @Clear: Yeah, that makes a lot more sense. Takes time to set those up though.

              • @Clear: Any tips on how/where to set up AliExpress monitoring/lists? Maybe I didn't explore it well enough but haven't found their site very good.

  • Does this work as a screen you can place into your PC case?

    • +1

Yeah it's the same as any other monitor, just smaller and lighter.

  • They should sell multiple connected monitors before the folding screen gets cheap

  • How long do generic tech devices on here last for you guys?

    • +3

Some last forever because we impulse bought them and never use…..

    • I've had 3 fail within a year unfortunately. Mucai, hgfrtree and one bimawen. Mixed bag but I got refunds for 2 of them. Not all are that bad though…maybe I've had a bad run.

      • That's pretty bad. How? What type?

        • One started flickering lots and the other two just wouldn't power up. Tried with multiple cables and devices of course.

Haven't heard others complain about this happening though so it's hard to say.

Most people don't use them regularly either though.

          • @ritzaus: Anything in common? Resolution, IPS/OLED, size?

            • @quill: Nope they were all cheaper ones around $120 or less though.

      • I wanted to check in. Yeah, that's why I try to stay away from generic devices unless I know that it'll just need it for the short term.

  • Wow, so cheap.

  • Yep

  • Can this run with rog ally with just one usb c connected to provide both power and display but no power supply?

  • All of them don't specify the weight. Do we know how heavy are they? AI suggest btw 6xx-1kg.

    • Around 260g based on a rebadge from a previous deal.

      • I'm actually want something bigger like 14" or 15.6". Do you know their weight with those??

  • +3

How do I know I am a good Ozbargainer ? I buy the thing then find a use. Thank you OP.

  • +3

Is this a monitor for ants?
    (Bought one anyway)

  • Is there a case with magnetic foldable stand for this?

  • Damn bad aspect ratio for me, after a 16:9 arrived this price.

    • Not that much difference really…

      • +1

        It is though.
3:2 is great for PC screen real estate, but bad if your device only outputs 16:9 and you don't want the image vertically stretched… (sounds like these don't have settings to adjust it)

  • Thanks for that - just what I was looking for as a little sub-screen to my main 34" with half of it a music playlist, other half Slack or shit like that. Got it for $52.59 with Amex.
