Bought 5 from them and all the codes have been redeemed when I was trying to claim on Samsung website. Take your own risk

    • +2

Bought mine from PLE last time, redeemed AC no problem.

    • +1

Didn't have an issue with mine, code redeemed successfully from the last purchase.

    • +2

You have to send them an email with your details. I think a whole bunch aren’t active.

    • +1

Wow, all five? I’ve purchased Samsung SSDs for various promotions, never has them redeemed but the latest one said serial was invalid. I did get it sorted with Samsung

    • +2

I had the same issue but found a Fix.
Ensure you disable add blocker and allow cookies on the Samsung redemption website. (You can also try using different browsers)

      Go here: https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/ssd-acvalhalla/
Press [Submit Claim] Ensure Add Blocker is off and fill in all the details.

If you can, try claiming on another device.

Thank you! I bought an ssd earlier this month and tried to redeem but it said not available. Disabling adblocker in chrome just worked to submit the claim just now!

    Any Samsung m.2 deals?

  • -3

Assassins creed keys long gone last time I looked

  • If I want to use this for my PC to replace HDD, I think I need to buy a bracket too. Anyone know what this bracket is called? Any link for this? Thank you

    • +1

A bracket? These are just 2.5mm drives instead of 3.5mm HDD's. They usually fit on most desktop PC's. What is your PC or PC case?

    • +1

Assuming your hard drive is 3.5 inch this is the cheapest option:

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-5-SSD-Hard-Drive-to-3-5-Drive-…

If aesthetics are important then you can find a black one or more expensive options. Red makes it go faster though! :D

    • +2

You should have 2.5 inch HDD bays inside your case. If not than you can buy a 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch SSD bracket but at the end of the day there are no moving parts in an SSD so you can simply just connect it within the case and position it on the bottom underneath the HDD bays if you dont want to go to the hassle.

    • portable ssd enclosure

I've had more than one computer where it just dangles… SSD weighs very little, if it's just hanging loose, it won't disconnect, just make sure it not gonna hit any fans or anything.

      • yep or just duct tape it behind the motherboard if desperate

      • I will double check. Thank you.

Can I resell this for the same price? A free Valhalla would be nice.

    • +4

Why would anyone buy a second hand hard drive for the same price as a new one?

      • I think he meant sell the SSD new for $139 and claim the Valhalla for himself (making it free)

Btw, I sold this exact SSD last month which I had used for 2-3 years for $140 easily…. you will be surprised at the number of people who don’t research prices

      • I'm not gonna use this. Have some common sense.

        • -1

I don't care how pristine the packaging is, if I buy it off Gumtree, or even just "some guy" on eBay, as opposed to a "legit eBay store", it's second hand.

TBH, when most of the comments in this thread are saying the game codes don't work, I don't see why anyone is buying this at all. It's "old tech".

        • It's second hand.

    • -2

I did this with the last PLE offer. Bought it and sold it for about $25 more. Advertised it as brand new (stated that the key was already claimed) since it was still sealed and then sold the AC Valhalla key. Easy profit.

  • +1

My key was already “redeemed” so I contacted the promos email at the start of the month and they take forever to reply, all they’ve done so far is ask for more screenshots and photos. Not holding my breath, I definitely will never buy something including a Samsung Promotion again

  • Will this fit in a PS4?

  • hey guys; i bought this SSD a month ago and its going strong; the ass creed promo invovles a few hoops; often emailing the promos team and sending them copies of everything; but if you keep on it you'll get the game eventually :)

  • +2

FYI I bought a key from the classified on ozb for 40 from someone who got this deal last time. Win win imo

edit: I am not associated but I am a misclicker.

Available at Shopping Express as well, might be cheaper with shipping costs.

    • Shopping Express is not listed as a participating retailer of the Assassins Creed Valhalla promotion.
For a list of participating retailers see: https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/ssd-acvalhalla/

      • Shopping Express and Futu Online are part of "K.S. COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY" group, which is one of the companies listed. I claimed a drive from them earlier this month.

        • Are you sure? I had a look at my invoice fgrom Shopping Express (from back in 2017) and it got ABN of 65 146 078 319 which is Shopping Express. The invoice doesn't mention K.S. COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY at all.

    expired, coming up as $169

  • fark I thought this would not expire so soon.

  • Has Ple shipped the ssd yet? Mine is still processing and I bought it fairly early.

    • Mine still says awaiting processing and is not invoiced. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to claim the game…

      • I bought two on 26 Dec got mine on the 31 dec but unfortunately couldn't be able to claim the free game from Samsung as they had run out of them

        • I might just get a refund on mine. Still hasnt shipped and no game. What a waste of time.
