The pricey, but (in my opinion) worth it flask which you can fill with boiling water the night before and burn your tongue the next morning!

I have got one of those. Its definitly worth the price.

      Its definitely worth the price.

Why? I mean what's the difference between this and any of the millions of other brands of this type of thing?
FWIW I bought the Sistema version of this from Coles for $12. I use mine for cold water and it keeps it ice cold the whole day ie the ice I put in it is still ice at the end of the day. So just wondering what does this do that a bargainer would pay so much more for?

Quality!! You will understand it once you use it.

Yeah, I'm going to need more than that. My $12 flask does everything I need it to and this is OzBargain, not OZspend_more_than_you_need_to

Great price for an amazing flask.

It's almost TOO good…. ie it keeps my beverages TOO hot.

Amazing flasks! They are so light. I wish I hadn't bought two Contigo ones as I would have bought two more of these. The extra cost is worth it.

As far as thermal mugs go I haven't come across one that tops this one - I have accumulated four over the years. They're all still in service without having to replace any parts (don't know whether they can be bought separately in the first place).

My only gripe is the difficulty cleaning the internal spout - almost impossible to get into it without special thin cleaning tools. And if you're putting in milk based drinks (like milky coffee) you certainly want to clean it.

Other than that I can vouch that it is highly fit for purpose:

    • one handed operation
    • lid can be locked (one handed as well)
    • it's leak proof - throw it in your bag if you must
    • keeps stuff hot or cold. In summer I put in an iced latte + ice cubes, leave the mug in the car when I get to work, car's in an unshaded car park. When I get back in the afternoon there's still ice cubes in the mug. Works scarily well.

Is this matter black colour linked above the same model? It's cheaper and looks to be the same size/has the same dimensions, althought it has a different model number 🤔

  • Insanely good price. I buy them from Donki in Japan for around the same price. It can keep a long black coffee hot literally all day.

  • Any ideas for something to add to get this over the $49 spend.

    • +2

      Get two.

  • what are the options for something around the 1L capacity?

  • +3

    • Wow it was meant to be a 24h sale

  • Cheaper here. Also from amazon.

      • Opps sorry.
