  These were on sale for $300-$320 for Black Friday and Boxing Day, and we're about 6-10 weeks away from the 3050 being a thing.

  This is not worth your time, at all: buy used, or wait.

  As I just posted in the RTX 2060 deal, I'd suggest getting a 2nd hand 1060 if you need a stop gap while you save up for a 3000 (or AMD 6000) series. I picked up a 1060 for $140 shipped from eBay, which admittedly is on the low end, but there are multiple options for $180 or less.

      That will depend if there's a RTX 3000 SKU below the 3050. It seems like there's a decent chance of a 3040, so if that happens, the value of this goes into the toilet.
