  Currently on a Boost 12 month plan which runs out in Mar 2021. If I port out and port back in will I get this offer or do I have to be with another provider for a month? Just vaguely remember reading somewhere on Ozbargain that it is not a simple port out and port back in anymore. Can someone please let me know. Cheers.

    I called them in May 2020 and they allowed me to use the new SIM to recharge. I am not sure if they've updated the policy.

    I had the same in last December.
    First, I moved out from Boost to Vodafone prepaid well before the Boost runs out date.
    Was with Vodafone for about two weeks and moved back in to the Boost with the new customer package. The only issue I had was the Boost didn't activate my SIM due to my details retained in the Telstra network (I have current NBN) so I need to contact customer service to process manually, it was the only pain and it took nearly 24hrs to activated. Hope this helps

    I recharged without port out, port in 2 months ago and then again about a month ago for my wife. First time they wanted me to take a photo of the SIM I'd purchased as proof. Second time they said they couldn't so I told them I'd done it a couple of weeks beforehand after which they talked to their manager and then transferred the credit. Both done through online chat, both took about an hour and a half.

        That's what I did, twice. No guarantees, just letting you know what I did two months ago. I'll do it again end of this year too. Even if it doesn't work I'd buy a cheap Optus or Vodafone SIM, port out and then back in anyway; I can't see any risks in giving it a go.
