      Well, tbh, CatchConnect could have cancelled all the orders and refunded easily but they decided to honor. So no trouble for that guy.

  • I ordered one 60GB and one 120GB and not sure whether they would honor only one or both.

    I checked the t&c said one for new customer only on each product.

    • If it has been shipped, you can check in your order fulfillment. If there's only one sim and one serial number, you'll get only one. Check the shipped item ID to know which plan you will get (120GB ID is 628 and 60GB ID is 627). Plz let us know the result if possible, I'm curious to see how they decide in your case.

            Regarding their pick for shipped plan, I reckon they might choose the cheaper plan, or this choice is merely random, or it’s based on the time of your adding to cart (whichever is first). Hope that you can settle the swap with them.

    Honouring single orders but not anyone buying more than 1 seems pretty fair

    • Confirmation came through on both sims that i have ordered in 2 transactions. Suspect they are honouring first sim of each transaction - makes me wonder if broden tried 10 sims in one go.

          • @skido: It shouldn’t matter, yes activate after 3 months. Usually it means they can change the plan, but the way things are going generally it would be you get more inclusions. You have 24 months to activate/use sim

  • So once you are with these guys for a year - is there any way to get an extra year at $120? Or do you have to port out somewhere else for a year and port back? i.e. alternate between Catch Connect and someone else?

    • Best to port to Kogan 90 days $14.90 if nothing better is available.

    Received it today and had to active with verification by card.

    • Wdym by this? They check against the card you used to buy the sim ?

        They need an Australian debit or credit card as a form of Identification. I think it’s an alternative activation than the normal drivers license/passport.

        • Did you have to use your account to activate it? or can you signup with another email and get someone else to do it?

          • @Turd: It would seem you do have to login but I didn't and was probably still logged in since the last session.

            You have to input the sum number though so you might be able to use it on a different account.

    • Sim is valid for 24 months but doesn't mean the plan will be.

  • I still waiting for mine, i am in WA. Also, I am currently with Catch, can I active the new one and double up my current plan? At the moment i already have the 12 month plan, if i active it again, would I now get 23 month?

    • Completely different sim card different numbers you'll have to port out and back in to keep the same number but it's different sim it's not credit voucher

  • Finally got it, on the letter it says it says 29th Jan 2021, I only got it today the 11th Feb, does that mean I only have 2 weeks to activate it?

    I got the 2nd sim in the mail today even though I have already received refund? How do I confirm it will work for 365 days plan?

    • By going to registering it but not completing OR calling them.

  • Has anyone successfully activated the sim using a different name and account than the one used when purchasing? I wanted to give the sim to a family member, but Catch Connect live chat said the sim has to be activated within the account that purchased it (and the name on the account doesn't appear to be editable).

    • Yes, I have with no issue. The missus activated under her name the sim that I purchased using my name and account.
