    Cassette player adaptor - 3.5mm only $0.40!

Kids, we used these to connect our CD players in the car.

    • Yep, there's some random 'bargains' there for sure.

Now you have to connect it to a bluetooth adapter to connect to your headphone jackless phone :)

      • I'm so glad not all brands followed that.

There really is no standards that's replacing that connector yet.

And until "reverse charging" and bigger batteries become 'on trend', you just can't always recharge your earphones 'on the go'.

Some companies have made massive changes to push their own products.

Apple removing it for example; and owning beats (who is the world's largest manufacturer of Bluetooth headphones) is a great business move that annoyed a lot of consumers.

v1.3a is stuck in the year 2000 too.

pretty sure it goes against HDMI standards using version numbers to refer to cables

    • Well only because they don't want a bad name with people selling their old equipment. HDMI are so far behind in tech anyway it doesn't matter. They had all the TV & receiver manufacturers sign a deal in the mid 2000s stating that they would be the only port allowed. Displayport, Thunderbolt are all so far ahead of their tech it's laughable. But we're stuck with it whether we like it or not. The other brands had the same specs and more of HDMI 2.1 years ago.

      • Afraid not dude, dunno where you are getting your info from but…
HDMI 2.1 = 48Gbps with a data rate of around 42.6Gbps, and supports a bunch of tech such as VRR, ALLM, eARC, and Dynamic HDR.
It is capable of Full HDR 12bit RBG @ 4k 120Hz no worries at all. It can even do 10k 120Hz if needed.
DisplayPort 1.4 = 32.4 Gbps, but in reality the data rate is only about 25.92Gbps. It barely manages 8k 120Hz and has to downsample to 8bit with Chroma Subsampling.
When DisplayPort 2.0 finally makes it to market it will surpass HDMI 2.1 but that is still awhile away yet.

        • Displayport 1.4 was released in 2016! 2.0 has been delayed until later this year but was originally scheduled for 2019-2020 (Same time as HDMI 2.1). Tested to do 16K at 60Hz if not more. 1.4 can do 4K 120 with 4:4:4. Thunderbolt can daisy chain 4K video itself. Don't tell me HDMI is ahead of any of these, you are dreaming. They are years behind in tech.

          • @Whisper Quiet: Dude already talked about DP 2.0 and already stated it wasnt out till later and how it would surpass HDMI 2.1 so why are you reiterating it?, plus you were talking about how current DP is years in front of HDMI when it quite clearly isn't.

      • Where can you get a new TV that has no HDMI port but Display port and Thunderbolt only ?

        • That's the whole point of what I just said. Manufacturers have made a deal with HDMI to be the only port. But there's no news about when the contract will end

Just ordered memories to DVD from an ad I saw on youtube. Those CD cleaners would come in handy.

  • Spewin' I didn't buy one of those Solarking lithium batteries when they had them on sale. Hoping they'll come back
