    • you will need to move to optus and switch back to boost.
      that's what I did.

    • Buy the deal, port out and then port back in. You have 16 months to activate the deal but your bonus data offer is removed if you havent activated by this month.

      • Yeah, I saw the expiry date for the bonus data just as I was about to make the purchase. Might wait to see if a new deal is around closer to then!

      • How long do you have to port out for before being to port back in and be a new customer?

        • same Q pls guys!

  • Just bought! Thanks!
Is the 328gb guaranteed when activated in approx. 6 months time? Or is it whatever $300 offers upon activation?

Existing boost customer so will port out and port back in

    • +1

It's only what is offered as at time of activation, so it may vary depending on what offers Boost are running at the time of your activation.

    • From the boost website (the bonus data is from boost, not from the retailer selling the SIM cards):

“*Bonus data on $300 recharge: 88GB Bonus data applicable to $300 recharge and SIM. For new Boost Mobile Prepaid customers only, who activate from 2 February to 1 March 2021. First recharge by 1 March 2021.”

      • I don't understand the first recharge part? Activate this month, then recharge again? But has 365 day expiry?

  • +1

I ported to Vodafone recently. How soon can I port back to Boost?

    • i like to know as well.. End of month I need to update.

  • I really want to try 5G along with my S21, any comparable deals?

    • +1

Only directly though Telstra for Telstra 5G.
You can pick up a half price sim to try for a month if you wish

      • Thank you, where can i find this half price sim?

        • +1

For example coles catalogue this week has $50 starter pack for $25 with 43gb to use for one month if you want to try 5G.
If it’s not for you then boost offers 4G only. (Which is much cheaper than Telstra direct)

  • Just signed up on the 30th Jan when the offer was 240gb plus bonus 60gb.

Any chance boost would give a bonus 28gb data if I called them?

    • +1

Let us know when you do

      • +3

Yes, CS was very nice and did it as a once off good will gesture

  • Are boost customers able to use telstra live pass for sports?

  • This will also go nicely with the Poco X3 i'm about to purchase. No more company phone :(

  • +1

Can this be used for data only? I remember some plans in the past restricted this. Want to use it as home internet backup.

    • +1

I’ve used a boost sim in a pocket wifi with no issues.
When we go on holidays I get a half price sim for $15 with40gb of data or so and it works fine.

  • how long should i activate?

  • +1

Looks like 88gb bonus data offer ends and needs to be activated by 1st March

    I’ve purchased this offer already

I’ve got approx. 6 months left on my current boost expiry so I wasn’t hoping to activate straight away, I didn’t realised the bonus 88gb offer ends so soon. Is there likely to be more bonus data offers in the months to come?

    • +1

Last time 60gb bonus data activate by 2nd Feb. This time 88Gb by 1st Mar. You just hope they keep to that patent to attract new customers because post paid is super competitive. They are in Kogan cheap territory right now. We ported 2 numbers over so far with a 3rd in Sep.

  • Apologies if asked already but when does this coupon expire?

    cheers

  • I sent this to the Ms and she said she might not as she's looking to get a new iphone and thinks it'd be cheaper on plan

bought on ebay auditech with $20 discount code. Brings it down to $220. Thanks OP.

    • Discount code?

      • Code was there n could be targetted.

    • Thanks asc and the OP

when I looked up this on eBay I saw the $20 discount code too and I have purchased this through eBay for $220 free shipping. No cashrewards % unfortunately.

  • Damn! I upgraded to the $200 plan only couple of days ago! This is far more attractive albeit $40 more.
    Missed te ARSEBOOST

How is the bonus data activated and how long does it last?

    • I think it's activated as soon as you activate the plan before 1 March, but unsure if you then get 12months to use it.

  • I am currently with Boost and my yearly plan is expiring on 25 Feb. Can I buy and use this to recharge? If not what’s the best option?

    • no..

      port in & out

      • How long do you have to port out for before porting back in?

  • +1

Does this SIM work with a 4G modem/router to hotspot the data?

  • Should I do this or wait for the JB Hifi $500 deal?? Seem to cost about the same….

    • This has international calls but no 5G

  • Ordered thanks!

  • Dang it was hoping for telstra $59 with $500… I have 1 week left on my Kogan 90day thing lol

  • Thanks tightass

  • Hi, when I input the promotion code into the system, it shows
The promo code ARSEBOOST doesn't seem to be valid or has expired.
    Does it expire already?

    Thanks

Worked for me just now. Are you sure you're using Cellmate checkout?

      • thanks, mate. figure it out.

  • $240 on auditech's ebay store. Does officeworks pricematch ebay?

  • hi I am a boost user and my recharge ends in a week (12months). I would like to retain the same number and wanting to find out how to recharge - if there's a deal or any other option ?

    • +1

I actually just spent 10 mins in chat with boost. The staff confirmed I can buy a new $300 SIM pack, then contact them before I activate, they can keep same number on the new SIM for me, then I can enjoy the bonus 88GB. So no need to port out and in again like others mentioned.

      • could you please let me know if you get this to work ? When are you going to use this ? I am eager to know this so that I can do the same !

        • I'm waiting to receive my new SIM then will give it a try. For the thread mentioned below, it seems someone has done it successfully too.

      • On this thread it say it can't be done
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/602799

  • can someone confirm if you can recharge using the new SIM card deal ?
