That is what Adidas should have called their Ultraboost 21s. Arseboosts!

      I'm having commitment issues

WHAT IF I DIE IN THOSE 12MTHS

      • I think you have more things to be worried about if you die in those 12 months…

      • +1

My guess is you'd be dead.

      • Make sure they bury you with it. Boost has good reception. I mean what if you weren't really dead and you woke up in your coffin. Wouldn't you be glad you had it then?

    • But the TGA would need a peer-reviewed report first before Adidas can start making claims about buttock-enhancing properties of the shoes.

I was able to get Officeworks to pricematch these guys in the past.

    • +1

You got lucky. See here re code use.

      • Oh I didn't see the coupon code for this one, disregard sorry.

    • +1

      Yep paid 228$ / 300GB, price match/beat 'auditech'
This deal seems alright too. Havant quite worked out how to check the data usage (#111# Only shows the plan options I Think) but phone tracks it ok

      • eBay Auditech price beat? or in Physical store?

        • +1

I matched the store yesterday, their price is $240 so came down to $228 but as mentioned above, I think we got lucky as they aren't meant to accept with discount codes

        • +1

Sorry the last Deal was with auditech but got official works to Price beat. Could try it on in the physical store again.

      • +1

Have you tried the Boost app to check data? My mum is with Boost (old $150/year sim) and the app seems to track everything

        • Will have another look. Just says 240GB data left

  • +3

Any deals for the $200 one?

  • Remember the bonus data is only for new customers.

    • +2

This is a starter kit, not a recharge. So by definition you're a new customer.

      • +1

        Ah of course.

      • What if you want to recharge? (after a year)

  • +6

Cellmate and code ARSEBOOST. Nice collaboration TA.

The juxtaposition of cellmate and arse is not atypical in correctional facilities.

You have no idea what you're taking about…

  • Can I buy this and recharge with my existing boost account?

    • Jump on chat once you have the new SIM and ask them to do it nicely. I've been successful twice now

      • Get bonus data too? Cheers

        • As long as you activate during the bonus period you should be fine

      • awesome thanks for the tip. My current 12 month boost sub doesn't expire till July haha

        • You can always port out for one month then port back in.

  • How long can you keep this as I currently need to transfer out of boost and rejoin.

  • Any suggestions for providers for quick port out?

  • +3

When does this need to be activated by?

    • +4

      Hello!

The starter kit has an expiry of more than 1.5 years. The 12 months start from the date of activation and not when you buy it however you get the deal current at the time. The current bonus 88gb data ends on the 1st of March 2021

      Kind Regards
      CELLMATE

      • Thanks!

      • @cellmate Hello, may I activate the kit with an existing boost number? Cheers

        • Hello. This is a starter kit for new customers or customers porting across from another carrier.
Unfortunately it can't be used to recharge an existing Boost number

  • when is the need activation by date.

    • See reply above from cellmate

  • Currently on Telstra retail network. Can I port to this direct or should I port to a 3rd party first (which one?).

    • When I moved over to boost from telstra, they had to send me some special "blank" SIM.

Then they got mildly upset that I was activating a starter kit after using their blank SIM. It all worked fine, just a bit of a strange process.

    • Read my comments above. It used to be that when you ported from optus/optus telstra/telstra it had to be manually ported so you would always experience a delay especially if you tried porting on a weekend you would need to wait for the next business day to for it to be processed. Whereas if you port from telstra/optus its all done instantaneously. Although it may not be the case anymore. So whenever i port i make sure its opposing carriers.

    • I recently changed from Telstra post paid to Boost pre paid. I bought a starter kit from the site and called up to port, but they told me I had to convert my Telstra post paid plan to a pre paid one before they could port my number. Telstra phone support weren't any help, so went to local Telstra store and got it done there with no issues. Then called Boost to port my number and it was all done within an hour.

      • Are you saying the issue was going form Telstra post to Telstra pre-paid? I'm already on Prepaid so I assume it shouldn't be any issue going from prepaid Telstra to this deal with Boost?

        • +1

Yep should be straightforward going pre paid Telstra to pre paid Boost. At least my experience was.

          • @messiah1095: Hi messiah. What was the process once u had telstra on prepaid and then requested port with boost. Do you put your boost sim in and just wait at that point, or do you have to leave your telstra sim in while waiting for the port?
            Thanks

            • @onthegold: Gday. They told me to keep the telstra sim in my phone until it became deactivated. Then I switched my boost sim into my phone and my boost sim was active by that point. Took a little longer for my phone number to port across but the whole process took an hour or so from memory.

              • +1

@messiah1095: Sounds pretty easy. Good to know the process beforehand though. Thanks for the info, as im doing the port from telstra post paid to prepaid then port to boost prepaid thing also.

  • Shame they removed many countries from their unlimited intl call list :(

    • -1

How to know which countries are included still

    • +1

fyi, i just contacted them. If you had your plan before this change, you will keep the same list of countries and minutes until your plan expires (mine is a 12 month one).

      • -1

not sure which countries were removed.

        • +1

you would have to checkif the country you are interested in is still available. Just jump on any plans page and you will see the updated list of countries with unlimited minutes. https://boost.com.au/SHOP/200-prepaid

You would have to compare the old vs the new list to know exactly which ones were moved from unlimited to limited

  • +2

Upvoted just because of the coupon code.

  • just in time for us, bought 2 and … yeah, great coupon code :)

  • Great deal. Too bad my plan ended 2 days earlier so I had to buy one for $249.

We ported 2 numbers over from Voda/Optus and both online activations didn't go through. Just call the service number for new customers to save you time. It was really easy and we were connected in 3 minutes after hanging up.

  • +1

Too bad I am on a $30 plan for 100GB with my current provider. It was a once a lifetime offer. Coz it just open to public for few hours.

    • Telstra network?

      • +3

Probably the Amaysim energy provider deal that got leaked a while back. I managed to get 1 sim on it before it got taken down lol.

      • Optus.

It is still sufficient for me atm. Not need Telstra for the network coverage.

    • How do you find this plan?

i bought this while ago, no activated and just chatted with a amaysim op, it is still valid and wait for me to use. And apparently there was $40 200G plan last year. Crazy.

    • +2

      Thanx for letting us know

    • I chatted with the Amaysim op who ensure me this plan is life time $30 dollar monthly and 100G. Is this what you getting still after months use?

  • +1

    $20/m for 27.33 gig.
great deal if you're a high data user.
Does Boost have data rollover or support data gifting like Belong?

    • The plan is for 12 months so it's that much data to use over the 12 months I'm pretty sure. Effectively a rollover anyways. Unless you mean what happens to the extra data after 12 months?

    • Data Rollover: Kind of
The data only gets rolled over for a maximum of 28 days and only if you recharge the below amounts

Any unused data expires unless you recharge $20, $30, $40, $50 and $70 before expiry. For these recharge amounts, unused data will then rollover and expire at the end of the next 28 day period.

  • +1

    Thank you! Upvoted and bought!

  • Can we buy this voucher to recharge? or do we have to port out and port in to use these plans?

    • Yeah mine from last year expires and so wondering if I can get this to recharge another year

      • No, will need to port out and back in.

  • Isn't it cheaper to buy it on Ebay for $240 using discounted GC (1-4%) via Cashrewards?

  • Hi TA, do you have any other cheaper deals?

  • sooo if the deal was for Telstra the code would have been ARSESPLIT

and if it were Optus ARSEPLUNGE

but what I am really looking forward to is getting some MacBook and IPhone deals from TA: ARSEBOOK and ARSEPHONE

  • Any of these prepaid plans work with Apple Watch (cellular). Literally the only reason I’m still on a bloody plan.

  • I'm a current Boost user with a pre-paid deal expiring in April. Is there any way I can take advantage of it without losing my current number?
